So I'm not happy how Jenneh's formal wear turned out. May redo. Also severely tempted to try my hand at Jojo being all hawt and playing with the sleeve cuffs on a nice, crisp SeeD suit jacket.

And 'cause I finally found my spare pencils (still can't find my lead refills) and I really want to.

So, in the last two days I've done more art than I have in the last several months to a year. xd Or at least condensed all the art I would normally have done in that time into the span of two days.

So these were brought about by the recent posts in HA. There's two versions, because I was fiddling around and decided to add the blue, and couldn't make up my mind if I prefer with or without. Two for the price of one! 8D

And then Joe and I got to talking and he mentioned a few things that need to be added/changed, and I decided to do his re-design. Then I asked him what color his cape should be, and he said "I dunno, what do you think would look best?" so I said "I dunno, either red or gold," and he said "I'm not too fond of gold, how about silver instead?" and I said "I think red would look best" but decided to do both so once again we get a two-for-one deal! (Some paraphrasing in our convo may or may not be a thing)


All three (six?) of these were done with a "new technique" I'm trying. I like the result! I've been trying to get my art to look like this since high school, and I just now figured it out xd

These look a -ton- better on my 3DS, let me tell you. And that's only partially because they're in 3D! xd They're also only about half of what I've done on the stupid thing. These are just what I deemed good enough to submit to the gallery, not including my "ten followers, woohoo!" image. I love this app, though, it gives me something creative to do on breaks at work, and it helped me work out that coloring technique I used in my last batch of artwork that I liked so much. Also, I now know how to draw/color/whatever a moon! Huzzah!

So I've been a busy kitty while my intarwebz have been down. And by "busy," I mean slacking off six ways from Sunday and deciding to take a few hours to finish inking/coloring my HA redesign. I'm working on Dani's now, which will probably take the same amount of time this one did. xd But anyway, here you go, have some art.

So I've been drawing for HA a lot. Then again, do I ever draw for anything else? Nope. No I don't. So have some more stuff:

First, something I was supposed to do even though I was never told to or asked to and I just did it because I got an idea and I refused to let this one escape.

Second and third, something I should never have done, partially because I don't have permission from my brother and he has no idea I did this, but mostly because neither of these two are likely to join the guild, much less HA.

I've kind of recently come to the conclusion that I can't stand asymmetric designs and like 98% of the time when I do a character design their outfit is symmetrical. I'm trying to get out of that habit, so I gave Noelle and Tricia skirt thingies on the one side and Steve (me brudder) got weird-a** gauntlets. Drawing my bro was also an excuse to try playing with male body types. I'M EXPERIMENTING YOU GUYS PLEASE SEND HELP

*dusts off thread* Wow, it's been awhile. Anyway, here's what happens when Bobbi says she doesn't want to lose Shiva, but really wants Phoenix, and Kyle says she can keep her same personality and still look human, just with fire instead of ice, and she'll still be my Shiva deep down where it counts personality-wise:





I like the second one better, so that's the one I'm using, but hey, two for one bonus for y'all.

I found lineart of Final Fantasy 8 Shiva on Google, and I did all the coloring and flame effects and whatnot in the ProCreate app on my iPad.

So apparently now Photobucket wants you to pay $400/year just to link your images on other sites. Do you know how I feel about that? Let's ask Nick Fury.

Anyway, I'm too lazy to edit all bullshit-hundred of my image links, so I've uploaded most of my stuff to my Imgur account here. There's a few I've probably missed, either because I've lost the files or because they're on one of my bajillion and six mobile devices (most likely my iPad).

Anyway, from now on if I add stuff here, instead of neglecting it like the piece of s**t that I am, they'll be on Imgur. Because Imgur isn't a literal bag of flaccid dicks and actually lets me link things.
