Fortress Raid RP

[Nalya Eternal]

Emily started to stir, her vision blurry. "Ow." She muttered.

Julius got to his feet, only to slip on a stone with a curse.  

[AugustEternum]

Senri's gaze drifted over to Emily. "You... okay?"

Hawk's eyes grew cold as he shoved his goggles over his face. Crow put an arm in front of him, telling him not to go yet.

"See? That's the Musou's for you..."

Dezi looked up at them. "How did you even--"

"What? Survive that day? I'm good like that..." He smiled.

Emily stood, holding her head. "Yea, I'm fine..." She said. "Who's that?"

Dezi's eyes darkened. "But.... everyone else died...."

Senri looked at Seiphyr. "Apocolypse... No.... his real name is... Seiphyr, Musou.... Zedix's older brother..."

Seiphyr's tail flicked as he looked over at Emily. "Oh, your friend's awake." He floated to the floor, his feet tapping lightly as he reached the ground and sighed. He started over towards her.

"Keep away from her!" Dezi yelled. "She has nothing to do with you and me... And neither do the others!!"

"Oh, will you please just shut up?!" Seiphyr dashed up to Dezi and slammed her backwards, sending her rolling across the hard stone floor. She pushed herself up and looked directly at his face. "Why is it that you want to kill us? Why, my very own brother?! The brother that used to be such a nice person???!!" He grabbed her throat again, but this time she threw him away. This comment had struck him in some way. "You would do favors for anyone!! You enjoyed it!!! What about when you would visit at the school just to say hello to some of the children there, or read them a story!!?? Where's THAT Seiphyr???!!"

"ENOUGH!!!!"

He threw her to the ground. "That Seiphyr is gone... DEAD!! There's no going back to old ways..."

Dezi's eye was watering. "I know he's not dead. I know he's still in there."

Seiphyr punched her in the cheek. She squeaked, but didn't do a thing, just stared back at his face. "Seiphyr...come back...." Another punch. "We don't have to be rivals." Punch. She squeaked again, and looked up, tears pouring from the corner of her eye. Seiphyr backed away and turned from her.

"Stand up, Zedix. Stand up and look at me. Do I look at all the same to you?"

"Seiphyr..." She said as she pushed herself off the ground.

"PREPARE YOUSELF!! IF YOU DON'T FIGHT THEN I WILL NOT HESITATE TO KILL YOU!!"

Dezi looked sadly at him and sighed. "I... can't change your mind, can I...?"

Shadows burst from Dezi's wrist and swarmed across her body. She looked up at him with deep sad eyes. He faced her, unnatural wind kicking up under his feet. The buckled straps on his trenchcoat snapped off and the tails flew outwards. Red energy swirled violently aroung him.

"This is the end."
"This is the end."

((WOOOOOO that was long.))

Emily's eye bugged out of her head in surprise. "That's impossible!" She studdered. "Th-that's a form of the 'Circle of Death' spell. That takes so much energy, and it takes forever to activate!"

Julius and Marcus just stood in silent awe.

Seiphyr roared as he dashed foreward, becoming only a streak of red light. Dezi moved away and slammed into his side. The battle was almost too fast to follow, just two colors, black and red, slamming into each other just long enough for their shapes to reappear, and then disappearing again.

Crow was trying to follow the attacks, but it went on to fast. The only one who seemed to be able to see them was Alexander.

Seiphyr went after Dezi, a bright crimson ball of energy compressed in his hand, but she dodged. She grabbed his left arm and a dagger flashed in her hand. She rammed it hard into his upper arm. He yelled as it went straight through and she ripped it away with immense strength, shattering straight through the bone. He was thrown back from her, bleeding heavily. His arm had been severed, completely torn from his body, and it lay on the ground at Dezi's feet.

"GAHH!! NANIWO SHITAKA?!!"

"I'm sorry, Seiphyr, but I gues you chose for it to be like this."

He stared up at her with hateful eyes. Energy was swarming around his right hand, and it was coursing up and down his body. Dezi watched him with a cold gaze.

He jumped foreward, a ball of compressed energy in his hand, one of his most powerful attacks. "ZEDIX!!" The attack was aimed straight at her heart.

She lept up, flipping up over him and grabbing his arm. She spun him around and flung him into a wall. He kicked off it and charged at her, but she moved out of the way and he slammed the energy into the rock wall.

A shockwave was sent throught the entire room, knocking everyone back. Dezi flew backwards, but Alexander caught her and they both skidded across the floor. Crow and Hawk were almost swept backwards as well, both with their arms bracing their faces from the flying debris. Senri lept in front of Emily to protect her from the oncoming stones. What's worse, the entire structure was beginning to shake.

"Crow! Use the staff of Passage. Get us OUT OF HERE!" Yelled Emily.  

[AugustEternum]

During the shockwave Crow's bag had snapped off and flown backwards. A rock fell from the ceiling and had crushed it. He yelled across the room to her. "I can't!!"

((mwa ha ha.))

The dust cleared around Seiphyr to show his trench coat torn almost completely away and his clothes tattered. He had scratches on every inch of his body. He turned his head upwards and jumped away just in time of a rock crashing to the ground. "Damn... this is my fault..."

Alexander and Dezi jumped in opposite directions from another falling boulder. The group gathered near Emily and Senri. "I'm... to weak for teleportation..." Dezi said panting.

The forcefield covering the exit tunnel disipated. "GET GOING!!" Seiphyr screamed at them, blocking a falling boulder from coming down on top of them with another forcefield. "NOW!!!!"

(( biggrin sudden turns are fun! ))

Dezi looked at him with a wide gaze, but there was no time to lose. "Lets go!" She yelled, helping up Senri. Alexander held out a hand to Emily. The room was coming down.

Emily grabbed Alexander's hand and ran behind him, Julius and Marcus at their feet.

(Damnit! That was good equipment you just destoryed!)

((*skippety-skip*))

As they were nearing the exit the ceiling was threatening to crash down on them. "AH!" Dezi tripped and fell forewards. She was just pushing herself up, but a boulder was coming unlodged from the ceiling straight above her. She screamed as it fell, and Seiphyr leapt foreward and knocked her out of its path, but his right leg was crushed by the boulder and he yelled out in pain. Dezi tried to push the boulder away. "JUST KEEP GOING!!" He shoved her away. "I deserve it..." She looked as if she was going to cry, but he forced her to go on with an energy push. The group continued to run.

Seiphyr used the last of his energy keeping the ceiling up. "Mou... modorenai yo... mou modorenai yo..." His whole body began to shake with the stress. "...Mou nido to sono hohoemi ni fureru koto ha nai..."

He waited until everyone was out, and then let go, smiling.

"KYOUDAI!! KKYYYOOOUUDDAAAIII!!" Dezi screamed as the entrance caved in. "Seiphyr... naranai... you didn't have to..." She repeated the words over and over.

((*dramatic*))

Emily looked down, and noticed that she had been holding the staff of life so tightly, her hand was bleeding. "Dezi..." She started. "I'm so sorry."

Julius nodded his head, whispered something to Marcus. Marcus protested but Julius wouldn't hear it. He left, dissapearing into the trees. Marcus looked almost heartbroken.

(Bite)

Dezi wiped away some of the overflowing tears and pulled a small blade from her belt. She walked up to the fallen rocks and dug the blade into a center stone.

She carved the date last. The words she cut into the stone were set deep. She stood and turned away from them, Crow walked up to hug her, telling her it was alright. Senri and Hawk watched sadly, Alexander had his back turned, his face to the sky.

"Let's... just go home..."

((Ow.... *rubs bite-mark*))

Emily nodded and looked at Marcus, who now looked extreamly upset. "Baby, what's wrong?" Asked Emily. "Where's your father?"

"Mother...Remember when father said he would only be around to help you in this?" Said Marcus, trailing off.

Emily's eyes widened in relasation. She stood, only to be stopped by Marcus. "No." He said. "He's already reverted to the....to the courpse he once was..."

Tears rolled down Emily's eyes as she looked mornfully at the staff of life. It was too late to help Julius. "Let's go home, baby. Your not alone any more..." She said, following the others.

Thus, they began their long trek home.
(Because SOMEONE let the staff of passage get destoryed. stare )

(( D< Hey! Forget I can fly/teleport or what? ))

Dezi held a palm to her head. She felt kind of strange, like energy was pouring back into her. "This should take hours though..." She turned back to the mountain of rocks behind them, noticing a small glow that no one else could have. She smiled and turned away again. She looked at her hands and clenched them into fists. "Let's go home then!" She clapped her hands and a dark vortex appeared in front of her. "That's new... C'mon guys." She stepped through pulling Crow along with her. Hawk watched and shrugged, following them.

Alexander looked at Senri, who had been staring off into space. "Coming?"

Senri shook his head. "I'm going to travel back to my home... and return to my family."

Alexander smile and nodded, then left through the portal.

Senri walked into the trees and vanished.

((We can go back to the inn now.))

Emily and Marcus nodded and went with them.
