HQ got boring sometimes. Real boring. People trained. Battled pokemon. Worked out. Got yelled at. Ate food that smelled confusing at the best of times. Yelled some more. Went on raids. Came back smelling like sweat and blood and sometimes human fecal matter. If they came back at all. It was all pretty much the same. Every day. Week after week. Nothing ever changed.

So Phobos liked to change things herself. The humans hardly ever noticed and when they did, they just blamed someone else...It was a pretty sweet gig. All of the entertainment and none of the repercussions...Except this time she wanted to do something different. Something bigger. More people had to be affected...More people had to be annoyed.

The misdreavus quietly pondered this idea as she floated down the grunt dorm hallway, tendrils of what could be taken for hair floating distractedly behind her as she went. What could she do? She had stolen minor things before...Pencils, office supplies, the hat from someones head, a shoe when they weren't looking...But that was all small time...

Pho paused in front of an open doorway, glancing in absentmindedly. Something pink had caught her eye...Was that a snorlax? The misdreavus giggled and poked her head more in the room, scanning, looking for some form of inspiration. What could she...Do...

That was when it hit her. Socks. She could steal socks...Not just from one person, but from ALL of the trainees! It was genius. PURE genius! It would take time to pull off...BUT BRILLIANT!

With that, the misdreavus pulled her head from the open doorway and whizzed down the hallway. It was time to find some trainees...

((I apologize for how short it is. I'm about to pass out. : x ))

Misa had been floating in a corner of her trainer's room, watching her fellow team members pile on top of Cush for a group nap while their trainer did something-or-other with a computer - what, Misa didn't know, nor did she care - when she had caught a brief glimpse of something peering into the room.

She was much, much more interested in the flash of white she had seen at the doorway, and after only a moment's hesitation, she zipped over to the wall and phased through it, chasing down the other Misdreavus as fast as she could float.

After all, it wasn't every day that she got to interact with one of her own kind, even if they were a bit unusually-colored - enough of her teammates were far from the standard coloration for their species that such strangeness rarely bothered her any more.

Instead, she was far more intrigued by the expression she had briefly glimpsed on her fellow ghost-type's face: the other Misdreavus was up to something... something fun... something mischievous!

And Misa wanted in on it more than anything else in the world.

So she chased after the white Misdreavus, not-quite daring to call out but not masking her presence either. Would the other want to let her in on the game?

She could only hope so.

It was going to be hilarious. It was going to be amazing. It was going to be chaos...Sockless chaos! For trainees at least. All she had to do was be sneaky enough and this would go off without a hitch.

...Except she was being followed. By what felt like a misdreavus. That sent a chill of excitement through her tiny body. She hadn't seen any others around yet despite all of her wandering around and havoc wreaking. This could be even more fun...But she she had to see if this new misdreavus was as fun as she hoped. And she really did hope.

The pokemon flipped around, still floating away towards the trainee's dorm but backwards. She studied her pursuant for a moment, incredibly eager to find a partner in crime...But first...She had to pass the test. Bright red eyes flashed a challenged and her lips curved into a sneaky little smirk.

"Catch me if you can," she whispered, her words coming out in soft dreas and vus.

With that, she flipped around and bolted faster still down the hallway, smirking and cackling the entire time. As she neared a dorm she phased through it's door and waited with baited breath in hopes that the new pokemon would join in her little game of hide and seek, heedless of the startled Trainee who had been sitting at a desk.

Ooooh, a challenge! Misa hadn't been this excited in a long time - sure, training was fun, and she adored Callista along with her teammates... but nothing beat another Misdreavus for a playmate!

Her eyes narrowed as she paid close attention to where her white counterpart was going, and she sped after her, phasing through anything that got between her and the other Misdreavus - including one unfortunate grunt's paperwork, which he dropped because of the speeding ghost.

It didn't take her too long to sense out where her future partner was hiding, and she phased through the door with a jubilant "Got you!" (though the trainee only heard 'Dreavus!')

Now what? What was next? Ohhh, finally something to do other than trying to herd Aiden and Alice and Eden into some kind of order!

Pho squealed in delight, thoroughly pleased with the result. The other misdreavus had accepted the challenge and been able to keep up with her. Found her. Best of all, she had that mischievous glint in her eyes that told Pho this very well could be her partner in crime today. That was what made her happiest of all.

With another smirk plastered on her face, Pho extended a tendril of hair in what she had seen Ani do a million times before...Shake hands or something like that. Admittedly the misdreavus didn't pay much attention to human social graces. This one, she liked however. Either way she hoped the other misdreavus would catch on and do the same.

"Names Pho. Good to meet ya."

It was then that the Trainee began to yell at the two pokemon and the misdreavus turned her head and glared at him. He would be first...After introductions. She couldn't very well terrorize without knowing her partners name...

What was this? Misa didn't entirely understand what "Pho" was doing, but she decided to reciprocate the gesture anyway, if just to be polite. Extending one of her own "hair" tendrils, she wrapped the tip of it with the other Misdreavus', belatedly realizing that this was some kind of human ritual.

"I'm Misa. It's nice to meet you too," she said, before blowing a raspberry at the interfering trainee and letting go of Pho's tendril to drop down on top of the hapless human's head, letting her tendrils wave over his face.

"Boy, you're an annoying human," the small ghost type said, knowing full well that he wouldn't understand her, before floating back up to her new companion.

"Time for some fun now, wouldn't you say?" she asked her counterpart, a cheeky (and slightly malicious) grin spreading across her face.

The misdreavus simply smirked and watched, thoroughly amused, as the trainee squealed in discomfort, unsure of what to do or what was really going on. Of course, he wouldn't know until it was far too late. Too late for his feet...

The pokemon floated up towards the trainee's face and glared at him viciously. He had done nothing but interrupt their meeting since they got there and she had just about had enough of it. He had never stopped yammering and was even now sputtering in her face something about pokemon needing to know their place.

Know their place?

At that, Pho's bright red eyes narrowed and she darted down towards his bootless feet, tugging with all her might on the toe of one of his socks and cackling madly the entire time. The trainee began to flail and scream but by the time he had reacted, she almost had the sock entirely off of his foot.

"GET THE OTHER ONE! QUICK!

She exclaimed struggling to get the last of the sock off his toes as she darted around his swatting hand.

Misa cackled and dove for the other sock, tugging at it until it, too was free. Blech, it was nasty and gross - when was the last time this stupid human had cleaned up?

"Ugh, do you ever bathe?"

As soon as she'd tugged the sock free, she darted up to the ceiling of the room, well out of the reach of the irate human, and turned to regard her partner in crime. Obviously they couldn't just stop with one annoying trainee; there were lots of others to torment!

The only one Misa personally refused to go after was her own trainer, although her roommate might be a good target...

"Maybe we should take ones they're not wearing, too. Less disgusting," she said, still clutching her prize with distaste.
