First draft. Yes, some may get the axe. And yes, Lunatic Pandora is from FF8. And yes, Lunatic Knight was named for that. And yes, I am seriously trying to resist have the deck's owner be named Mill-i Vanilli.
Still have to work on ones for the Sky side of things.

Made my revisions, I hope you don't mind. Just had to make a few changes to balance things out. I almost entirely changed that Shield card, it seemed to almost like a copypasta of a already preexisting card with a different name. So I made it snazzier, with an interesting draw back. razz Everything else is totally fine.

EDIT: Oh snap, errata time! Realized if you had no monsters it would allow you to ignore the drawback of the card. So, fixy fixy.

I would've just completely axed some of these cards, but I thought editing them would be kinder. After all, you've spent time to make the cards, wouldn't be nice to say you'd wouldn't be able to ever use them. :U Viip. And I do try not to entirely change any of them. Shield just seemed too tempting.
PostPosted: Wed Sep 22, 2010 4:55 pm

Thanks, I appreciate that. Overall the changes look fine, nothing that completely derails the theme. A few notes I'd like to state.

Pandora Shield- Overall not bad. It was obviously inspired by Lightsworn Barrier, but your changes help make it unique, so no problem there.

Lunatic Fringe- I'm borderline on the LP cost being half the total, but I'm willing to at least try it that way, see if it is worth it once I have the chance to play it, or if the cost would get it pulled from the deck.

So overall, the changes look fine. And now that they are out of the way, I'll start making some Sky Deck cards, and a character. (Got a picture in mind already, and probably a villain.)

Fringe seemed too easily abused. Like, blow up a significant amount of your opponent's cards and make them mill a lot on top of that, all for the cost of just playing the card? Hmmmmm. Naw.

Paying half your LP shouldn't really get in your way of playing this card. If you're activating this card, it's because you know it'll win you the game. Hence the cost.
PostPosted: Wed Sep 22, 2010 6:24 pm

Not to mention it's the most broken top decking card. It CAN be played if you have you no other cards in play, right?

I think the pay half of you LP cost is appropriate, especially for this reason.

Point taken. As for playing it with an empty field, I hadn't thought about it. I always assumed I'd have cards in play when using it, so I could add a clause that I need at least one card in play to use it, too? But yeah, I think that card wound up a good deal stronger than I originally anticipated when I was slapping it together. Originally I just wanted to make something like a cross between Heavy and Vortex, then I wanted to add the Lunatic Pandora mill angle. But yeah, the more I think about it, the LP cost seems fair enough, especially if it would be used as a setup for endgame.
PostPosted: Wed Oct 13, 2010 3:51 pm

I'm fixing as I read. Anywhoo:

Sliver Queen
Lunatic Shuttle
LIGHT Machine/Synchro/Effect Lv. 7 2500/500
1 "Lunatic" tuner + 1 or more non-tuner "Lunatic" monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned, both players send the top 3 cards of their Decks to their graveyards. For each "Lunatic" or "Pandora" monster sent in this way, gain one Mach Counter. You may decrease your Mach Counters by 6 to destroy all monsters on the field.

Lunatic Time-Space Witch
LIGHT Spellcaster/Synchro/Effect Lv. 9 2700/2400
1 "Lunatic" tuner + 2 or more non-tuner "Lunatic" monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned successfully, send cards from the opponent's deck to the graveyard equal to the number of monsters used in this card's Synchro Summon. During each of your end phases, send an number of cards from the opponent's deck to the graveyard equal to the number of monsters you control.

Wut wut, Shuttle's a Pseudo BRD. No priority, but you Nuke at any time you jolly like, not being limited to the time of summon. Be gald I let this one pass. :U

Last effect seemed slapped on Witch... however, I'm being nice, and giving this a little boost. You're much likely to be using most if not all your field presense to summon this bimbo, so she might as well have some wait to supplement her effect. She'll only last maybe a turn with those stats. Want not waste not. Giving her a respectable 2700 ATK is reasonable.

I'm going to say no to Pandora Blackout. It's like somone used a Super Polmerization on Harpie's Feather Duster and Heavy Storm. Nununu.

I don't see a problem with any of that. How about this as an alternative for Blackout, then:

Pandora Blackout
Normal Spell
Spend any number of Mach Counters to destroy the same number of spell or traps cards on both players' fields. Either player may send the top two cards of their deck to negate a card's destruction.

(So like remove three Machs, both players lose three spell/traps, unless they mill 2 for each card they want saved.)

And haha, I just might call her Lunatic Time-Space Bimbo...
PostPosted: Fri Oct 15, 2010 3:12 pm

Sliver Queen

Pandora Blackout
Normal Spell
Remove any number of your Mach Counters. Both players must select a number of Spell or Trap cards they control and destroy them. Either player may send the top 2 cards of their deck to the graveyard instead for each of their cards that would be destroyed by this effect.

Slightly better worded. Except the opponent now selects which of their cards kick the bucket. So essenitally it's a Heavy Storm with a cost. Fair enough. razz

I can work with that, I'll get it edited in shortly. Beyond the other two you tweaked, the rest were fine, then?

Yea. Nothing took my attention specifically. :U
