THE RACES
~High Elves~
High elves are distinguished from other elves by their place of living, as they usually dwell in stone cities, instead of woods, like wood-elves. High elves and dark elves can be used to contrast respectively the good elves and the evil elves. High elves could never be evil. Typically high elves consider themselves the most purely good race of all, and view all other races beneath them, especially lower elves, and they are usually the most magically developed of all elves.
~Avariel~
These winged Elves used to live in many of the mountain regions of the world, but these days they are almost extinct due to wars with Dragons and other mountain dwelling powers.
They usually have long wings to support their weight while flying. Their colors range from pearly white, to brown, to ebony black.
~Drow~
This group of Elves was banished to the subterranean Underdark after the Kin slaying which divided the Elven races. The Drow are the only Elves that are inheritantly evil -chaotic evil. They live in great cities under the Surface and are to most Surface dwellers as bad a sight as the very demons from the nine hells.
~Lythari~
These are originally Forest or Wood Elves that have the ability to change into wolves at will. Unlike true werewolves they keep their sanity and mind when they change and they do not change into unthinking killers therefor. Though most scholars see the Lythari as so far different from 'normal' Elves that they take them as a separate race not really akin anymore to Elves.
~Moon Elves~
These are the most common type of Elves found. They typically have gray to silver hues of hair though some might sport raven black as well.
~Snow Elves~
Pale elves that live in the High mountain regions of the world. They worship Tarsellis Meunniduin, the Lord of Mountains. They are reclusive (even more so than 'normal' Elves)and usually led by tribal priests known as "Peak Ancients".
~Wood Elves~
Wood elves are a reclusive race, preferring to live in, obviously, woodlands and thick forests. They place more emphasis on strength than learning. Wood elves are considered by other elven sub races to be boisterous and hedonistic.
~~Common Weaponry~~

The best swords were excellent weapons capable of causing tremendous wounds. They were not easy to construct, and the finest ones could last for generations. It is no surprise that a certain amount of mystery surrounded both their making and their use. But only a portion of this sword lore survives for us today. Our knowledge of just how swords were made does not come from historical literature directly describing their manufacture in detail. Instead, it comes from a wide range of sources - literary, artistic, archaeological, metallurgical, and technical. What is clear is that, unlike other weapons, a sword could not just be "put together"; it had to be forged and carefully tempered. It was not just a long knife on a shaft, as with a spear, or a heavy stick with a metal end attached, as with an axe or mace. It required a laborious and skillful process. Sword and dagger construction and metallurgy are complex and involved. There were undoubtedly a multitude of methods and techniques to the craft over the centuries. The final purpose of each was to create a strong, light blade capable of holding a good edge.

The Elven Longbow, more than any other weapon of its time, was
responsible for vast changes in the nature of warfare. In doing so, it
made the Elves the foremost power in Middle-Earth. Elven armies
became the most feared units in Middle-Earth,and with good cause.
Almost every battle fought was won by an intelligent utilization of
massed archers and men-at-arms. Upon many occasions, Elven troops
were sorely outnumbered, only to win the day.
Such was the power of the Longbow, that contemporary accounts
claim that at short range, an arrow fired from it could penetrate 4
inches of seasoned oak.
Another aspect of the Longbow was the archers themselves. Archers
began training at a very early age, traditionally at the age of seven. Training at long ranges was mandatory, complete with fines for violations. Local tournaments were held regularly, and the best archers were chosen for military duty. As these were all hand-picked troops from among the best archers in England, the archer units were an elite group of infantry. These were no base peasant levies; they were all hand-picked craftsmen who well knew their worth in battle.
The average Archer could fire 12 to 15 arrows per minute and hit a man-sized target at a minimum of 200 yards. The maximum range was about 400 yards with flight arrows. An archer could not even consider himself skilled at his art if he could not shoot 10 arrows a minute!
Familiars
These creatures, usually common animals with distinct markings, are an Elf's companion. They can range from the smallest mouse to the mighty dragon. They can be used as a communication, or as help in a battle. They are sometimes infused with Elven magic, giving them the ability to communicate freely in speech. Despite these strange occurrences, they may contribute a vast amount of knowledge to their counterpart.

Background Story: [Be detailed!]

From the day of her birth, to the day of her coronation as Queen, she was in mortal danger. Her parents, Elinel and Tashooya, both had been killed by invaders. She was left alone, the last of her great line, the last of the Rulers. Since the age of six, she was always being carefully guarded. She lived in the capital, Shamballa, for a time before moving out to Archinae, a small religious center near the border of mountains known as Garlvale. She was taken in quickly by the priests. They taught her the prayers of the Gods and Goddesses, while the guards and warriors secretly taught her fighting with weapons. At the age of eight, her world was turned upside down for the second time. While shopping in the marketplace, she collapsed. The dreams she saw
