Hi everyone! My name is Maeghan I live in Illinois i'm 20 and I'm going to school for K-12 Art Education. I have loved Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass before I could read and colored the illustrations with highlighters when i was little. It really just facinates me to this day how imaginative the books are and how he just let his mind run with nonsense in the plot. I think nonsense is very important to have and I appreciate it greatly.

Hello, my loves. What a fine day it is. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the worms slither underground. Beautiful. Well, it is where I am currently of residence, at least. Said place would be a quaint little community in central Georgia, in the merry old country of the United States of America. It is a nice country, really it is. We just happen to be run by an idiot. =] Moving on. I have currently lived on this Earth a total of 14 years. BUT, do not let that scant age fool you. I am much older. Much. Well...At least in my own little euphoric bubble filled with pixies and world peace and fire I am. =] Anywhore, I am a very odd gal, most would say. Now, they gather this from the odd, rather dark and dreary clothing I adorn myself in, and the vacant look always in my insane eyes. But, alas, they do not even try to know the real me. The me behind the freakish clothing and loathe-filled glares. I am a happy person, really. Well...When I am around certain people, at least. Or when reading/watching/doing anything related to Alice In Wonderland. My eyes are brown, as is my hair. I am rather short, but, please, do not say that to my face, unless you wish to find a bike spoke rammed straight through your abdominals, angled up to pierce your esophogus, and finally, impale the meager, pink thing you fondly call "brain." ...Moving on. I enjoy music. Of all kinds. Mostly rock, alternative, musicals, classical, alternative, oldies, anything NOT RAP...Because I am a firm believer of this one, wise saying..."Life is like candy. It's only good without the (w)rappers." Haha. Yes. Laugh. Laugh like you have never laughed before!! LAUGH MY MINIONS!
...
Yeah. ...Such a pretty day...

Just call me Shade, as that is what I like being called.
As for my age... I am paranoid so I never reveal this on the net. Please don't think of me as cheap, it's just my own person thing that I do. Anyway... um... on to the next subject!
As for my like of Alice in Wonderland, it has come to the surface recently after lying dormant from a while and now I can't stop thinking of it. My favorite poem in the story and of all time is actually from Through the Looking Glass. It's the Jabberwocky. IT IS SUCH AN AWSOME POEM!!!!! I recite it at least once a day because I love it so. I also love who different people interpret the story in different ways, it's just so cool!
On to me... I am rather hyper most of the time... I don't mean hyper as in drinking 10 cups of coffee in a row, I mean I assume that I am fun to be around. I have a VERY active imagination that sometimes keeps me from sleeping but that is another story. I am an avid writer and drawer. In fact, I have an account on Deviant Art. But don't go there thinking you'll see some amazing pictures, no, I'm not really all that good at drawing. Going on, I love to role play and such like that. I also live video games but I don't have any systems, just my computers. Oh well, Long live Sims 2.
In addition to this, I am the KEY OF DARKNESS!!!!!!! YES!!!! Now, truthfully, I don't know if I should be spreading that around but I guess there is not harm in just throwing that out there. My other half, the key of Light, doesn't actually belong to this site.... OH forget about it.
What else is there to say besides the face that I am mad as well... um... nothing except that Master is playing tricks on me again trying to drive me insane... he has other people he can turn insane, why keep going after me when he knows he will fail.

Many thanks for the invite! I'll do my best to repay the favor by participating in the guild and refraining from the use of painful fonts to communicate even more painful thoughts.
I currently teach community college English classes, rhetoric and literature. I stumbled on this guild and had to beg an invite since my master's thesis centered on Lewis Carroll. ((Trivia: to all the haters out there who keep saying he had some kind of "unhealthy" relationship with the real Alice Pleasance Liddell, he in fact was seeing her mother behind her husband's back ;D ))
I'm 28, married, with enough other online activities and work to keep me extremely busy, but never too busy to add friends and try to be a responsible guildie <3

Hello Dearys!
I am Yoko, but really you could call me by any number of nicknames ((sorry, wont tell you my real name here.)). I am a sophmore in highschool hoping i pass the year.....we have two weeks left and i have 56 in one of my classes. sweatdrop .....not a good thing.
I love most anime....except for Ranma 1/2.....that is a wierd show. I am into all of those strange obscure random anime props, such as Yuuko's red-bat or the Akatsuki hats. My favorite anime right now are, Now and then Here and there, Naruto, Bleach, Chevalier, and .....uh.....alot of others.
I like most kinds of music...especially dance beats. Anything i can sing to is good too. Mostly i listen to Japanese music, if only because i get to sing what ever they can and i wont know what i am saying half the time.
I love to run barefoot ((if any of you watch Naruto, please note, that i am an accomplished Ninja runner.)). I love to roleplay in real life and i seriously cant wait until school is over because then i can work on all my costuming jobs!

Hello, I'm Hannah - and I've never fallen in love with someone who wasn't beforehand a huge Alice fan! So you can see how I got started...
Well....
The Cheshire Cat is my familiar, I visit Wonderland almost every night, and Lewis Carroll convinced me to finally realize just how delicious mushrooms really are. I'm also an expert on LSD, though I've never tried it. And I'm a Beatlemaniac. And I'm obsessed with fruit bats. And transvestites. Particularly if they go around singing about it (i.e. Dr. Frankenfurter and David Bowie). <3

Bonjour! Guten Tag! Manhaba! And most importantly, Hello!
My name is Sara, and I have an unhealthy obsession with learning new languages before I get any older. I take French in school, me and my friend are trying to learn German together, and I'm trying to convince my dad to finally teach me Arabic. This all usually leaves me very confused and frustrated, but it's also quite satisfying.
I am 13 years old, but I act as mature as I possibly can, so I can help return respect to my age group. Growing up always seems so far away, so delightfully out of reach. Part of me yearns to get to the destination, but the other part enjoys the way things were before, back when the world was new and so facinating to my wandering eyes. I used to travel all about when I was young, I myself was born at a US Navy base in Cuba, and my smallest sister was actually born in Japan. My dad's Navy career was what caused me to be able to exist, through meeting my mom, and it also caused me to be the way I am today. Extremely open-minded, and short-tempered with those who aren't. From the trip I took down to Australia to visit family, I think I've concluded that Australia is the place I want to live when I grow older. The United States of America certainly isn't the place I want to spend the rest of my life.
If you ask certain friends how I am, some will say I like to argue and prove people wrong, some will say I'm sometimes hyper, a lot will probably say I'm playfully violent. It's mostly all true, I'm not much of a people person, and I have a belief that superiority and pride is the only thing of use to me here in this world. I'm pretty sure that my ego is gigantic, but always rapidly changes in size. I can go from the top of the world to hiding under a rock, and vice-versa. Although, through that I try to remain unchanging to my friends, and I really do act extremely quiet and modest. I try my best not to stand out, because it usually leads to nothing but meaningless attention and fights, I'd rather save my energy for more important things.
I love all kinds of art, I play music at school, draw, and try to write poetry, things at school like math and science were never my thing. But for my parents, I do the very best that I can. I really do admire them, they're always working hard and stressed out, I don't do things that I know will give them more work or dissapoint them. I secretly have a passion for dangerous things and an impulsive personality, but I know that they won't be here forever, sadly, and I can wait until then before I do anything that will worry them.
I've loved Alice in Wonderland movies since I was small, and Alice is such a common element in popular culture today. I figured that all of it might be more enjoyable and would mean more to me if I read the book. It was facinating and wonderful to read, almost making me wish that I could take a trip down the rabbit hole or through the looking glass, right into Wonderland itself.
I could probably write more then this, but I've already almost written a novel here on the page, so I'll stop now, sorry 'bout that.

Where to begin...
My name is impossible [My Parents hated me, see.] and everyone can not seem to be able to pronounce it right. So, I bid you good luck: Noelani. Hah. I'm laughing now. I'll give you a hint: Its not salami.
My age is none other than 23 * 6 - 48 / 2 + .50 * 4 / 12 - 1.16666666666666666. I rather hate it. Its an awkward age. Wishing to be older, but dieing to be younger.
People who see me say I'm childish, people who talk to me say I'm to mature, and people who actually know me say I'm insane - but a good insane.
When my mother asks about how school had went I go off about this little lizard I saw outside my math class' door, and how I wished little lizard budy didn't leave me.
I hate basoon players. But only becuase they are insane, spazzitic, and totally steal the Bass Clairnets thunder. Plus they got to skip out on marching.
I like veggies. I hate cheese. I love Queen. I hate Paris Hilton. I like lolita fashions. I dislike abercrombie. I secretly worship Elvis. I not-so-secretly shun rap music. I go to Rocky Horror Picture Show showings. I will never set foot in a theater playing a horror film. I am whiter then sour cream. I am actualy of an olive-ish pigment. I play music 24/7. I go out once a month... maybe. I love rainbows. I love the dark. I'm as open minded as they get, probally.
I have the fallowing obsessions: RENT, Phantom Of The Opera, Elvis, Queen, Alice In Wonderland, Harry Potter, Harry Potter Sirius/Remus slash, fairies, tarot/oracle cards, scarves.
Why do I love Alice In Wonderland? Its as wacky and proper as I am. Plus: its a really good story. The Characters ROCK and it sounds like something I'd dream.
NOW, the main question:
How to end?

Well, what should I say here. I'm bad at these things. I mean what could I possibly say that you could not find out just by watching me post and will you really remember all the things I say? I think not. Especially not after I have posted this in the beginning of it. Oh well, let's start I suppose.
I am 15 going on 16 (well lookie, Sound of Music reference... well, sort of). I live in the US but I am originally from Trinidad and Tobago. Guess where that is? And no. It is not near Iraq for all you smart people. I speak English. Well, look at that. Surprising, isn't it? I also like Japanese things, mostly the music, language, history, fashion... How about I just say everything? I like Lolita and I have to battle against my mother to get the clothing. @_@ She has a thing against frills and looking innocent. I think the only person who would rather have their child dress in shorts and a halter than in something modest. I fail to see the reasoning. I'm considering reverse psychology but I think she actually means it.
What else? I practice kendo. Yay for the Japan junkie. Seriously though, (hah! serious!) it's cool and a work out. Plus there is not kicking or real physical damage that it not somehow your fault. I also do community service at a hospital. Yay for candy-strips! Yes, I do like the word 'yay' but as you can see from my signature, I love the word 'definitely' at the moment.
I also like Naruto. My favourite character is Shikamaru. He's my ideal person. Go Kishimoto-sensei's brain! I write fanfiction that is usually Naruto slash though I may sometimes write a het fic or two because I adore NejiHina and NaruSaku. heart I also write Beyblade and I have to start Harry Potter. I was actually surprised by this a little while ago. My town had a little competition for people to write the ending to Harry Potter and I realized I had never written a Harry Potter fanfic before in my life and I love Harry Potter! It made me sort of sad.
Now on to Alice, I guess. I love Alice and everything Alice-like. I have loved it since I was around eight years old, which was the first time I read it. It was so much nonsense that it made sense (i.e. the story of my life). I love the Cheshire Cat. Such a smile can only warrant love. My favourite poems are 'Jabberwocky' and 'The Lobster Quadrille'. I think Alice was what got me into the classics.
Oh, and before I forget. I am obsessed with grammar. You know, the commas and full stops and stuff like that so if I happen to randomly correct you or something, don't get mad, get glad! I'm trying to help not hurt, 'kay? And if I make a mistake, don't hesitate to correct but don't sound nasty. I guess that's it!
Moo...

So.... introduction. Hm. Yes, hmmmmmm indeed. Where to begin?
I'm 17 and entering my senior year. Then after I graduate, I'm going to England for about 2 weeks. The very idea of leaving the country and seeing a wee bit of the world thrills me to the core. And I'm sure that excitement translates well over the internet. xd : I love different cultures and languages, and yes, Japan does fit in there, but my current fascinations are India and the Middle East (don't even get me started on the war scream ). Right now, I'm listening to Dilruba by Niyaz. Good song, if I do say so myself.
I love reading fantasy and fiction, and basically anything that's good. That was a vaguely specific description but whatever. blaugh I love nature, and animals, and art. Love love love. And these spiffy little emoticons, those are always up there on the love list. Not that I have one. ninja
And the whole reason I'm here is that I love Alice! Or the books. Either way, it all started when I was little, and used to watch the Disney version. The Cheshire Cat scared me so badly... but, I have conquered that phobia, and he's one of my favorite characters! Huzzah for maturity. I just bought a leather-bound collection of all his works, and have just finished re-reading the Wonderland stories. They never get old. I've also found that when you're babysitting five kids and they ask for a story, Alice in Wonderland is by far the most entertaining (and it also distracts them from wanting to do your hair because in their addled, sugar-high minds, you look like Barbie).

Greetings and Salutations to all of you lovely folk! :3 My alias is Lily, but my actual name is a little more complexed, so we'll stick with Lily. 3nodding I am twenty-two years old and an American. I can't honestly tell you how long I've liked Alice in Wonderland, though I can tell you I saw the movie before I sat down and read the book. I also saw the live action Through The Looking-Glass when I was a kid, too. The White Queen scared me like no other when she turned into the sheep. ^^; Heh. Anyway, when I finally did sit down to read both of Lewis Carroll's tales of Alice I became rather fascinated by him, despite the fact many of his biographers claimed him to be a ******. However, I adored him nonetheless. I now own a book that has all of his works. I have yet to read it from front to back because, well, I'm unfortunately lazy like that. Anyway, eventually I discovered a book at the library entitled In the Shadow of the Dreamchild by Karoline Leach and Hugues Lebailly (published in 1999, so it is relatively new), which caused a huge enlightenment about Charles L. Dodgson and his pseudonym Lewis Carroll. If you haven't heard of it I suggest you check out this website: Looking For Lewis Carroll. It is an amazing site, greatly influenced by the new facts that were uncovered in the Dreamchild book. Wonderful, wonderful stuff with many great facts and information. However, some parts of it are simply theory for they do not have every bit of information. Still, they explain the reasons at the site, so I won't go into it. Moving on, concerning other things: I like manga, I collect Asian ball-jointed dolls, I like J-Rock, I'm a big fan of Hayao Miyazaki, I'm pretty diverse in music, singing is my biggest hobby, and I can play Linus and Lucy (a very simple version, mind you) on the piano. biggrin
