TheTrien hah. da hast du recht whee aber, wenn Volk mir verstehen kann ist es nich ganz schlecht, n䨿 Also ich finde , dass man dich prima verstehen kann whee Stimmt , ist immer praktisch , wenn man mehrere Sprachen sprechen kann , so kann man sich wenigstens mit vielen verschiedenen Leuten unterhalten. Hätte nur gerne wieder mehr Zeit um weiter holländisch zu lernen gonk

Hallo! I joined the guild today to pick up some German. Last month a family came to visit us and the son could only speak German. I felt bad because of all the years I lived there I couldnt communicate with him. Anyway, I bought the Wie geht's? Text book and am learning from that. It didnt come with the CDs/cassettes so I am a little stumped on some of the pronunciations.
thansk for typing in German too. Its good practice to see it in print and to try to read what everyone has typed.

im too scared to speak any german...i took three years of it, and i think i know a bit but i wasnt the best in my class or anything. so it would come out more germish then anything else. lol. but here is a cute story for you.
when some of my relitves came to america there were two brothers by the last name of weiss. the brothers went into two different lines and when the man asked, 'what is your last name?' one brother said, 'weiss' so the man wrote down wise.
then when the other man asked the other brother his last name he of course said 'weiss' and the man wrote down white. isn't that funny? xd
