Posted for you (in Zombies). Posted for you (in Zombies). And for everyone, thank you for a wonderful beginning and high activity! (I am sorry about my own limited posting times, but I will do my best!!) I am thinking of cooking up some prizes what do you guys think of "Acheivements" for the RP? With like a 5k or 10k reward per? Sound like fun? If you think so, reply and I will work something out and have it up by Weds! (or maybe the end of today if I get all the replies in).

As soon as David and Krysta finish their talking exchange we will be headed down to help John. What do you think so far? If I make a sequel I am already debating either another manor house one or an abandoned amusement park/carnival.

I am really excited! Thriteen letters starts out with thriteen people having recieved a letter to come up to an old mansion on the hill, sent to them by a friend, family, or even an enemy. But whoever sent it the content (which is up to the individual writers) was reason enough to drop EVERYTHING and hurry over. Upon arriving the house is empty, the first floor having all the nessisary rooms (most of the rooms on a Clue board) and the second floor having two wings of bedrooms, one wing has all locked and blank doors, and the other has unlocked doors, with keys on the nightstand, and nameplates (for all thirteen guests) on the doors. At dinner they find the door holds amazing smells but it locked, and then the sound of a key turning, and the door is unlocked but after rushing in, no one is inside. A note is with the ice cream served as dessert, it requests everyone in the sitting room after dinner (some people refuse being pushed and pulled by some coward too scare to show his/her face and return to their rooms instead). Those who go find another note and three maps, the note says that if you follow the map at the heart of the maze you will find the answer to some of your questions. Most stay but a few go. At the end of the maze is another letter, "I regret to inform you that as of 12 am this morning (Insert Character Name) has passed away. He/She will be sorely missed by all, but due to his sacrifice the remaining members of (insert address) live to see another sunrise. But as of sunset tomorrow, the Letter will be sent, containing the name of the damned, and unless another life is offered in his or her place, they will die before the sun's first light." And so every night there is a letter at the end of a map or a quest that contains the name of the doomed, and if you get there first you can see who it is and act accordingly, if it is you, you can kill someone and save yourself, if it isn't you you can avoid everyone until morning, or kill the doomed now and ensure they don't kill anyone else. Or you can do nothing... and the person will be found dead by morning. The road away from the house has vanished and the cars won't start and the mystery unfolds from there, being built off of the secrets in the past of all those who joined. (I always recommend a few characters (between two and three, sometimes four... since they tend to die off rather quickly.) And the last one standing it is assumed gets to go free.

✗✗ Well, the theory was that once everyone posted once or twice (I was stalling for more people when all the original posts went up), that there would be another plot post to get everyone headed together.
Uh, at the moment, she could just be compelled by a general restlessness and inability to find comfort in what was once a stable life. Bad stuff is brewing on the horizon, but at the moment it's all just generic bad stuff because I haven't instigated anything. /not very helpful at all

✗✗ Hmmn, you might want to consider shortening the list of gems (like three or four pairs instead of five) and if you can wake back up the old writers or recruit new ones, I am having fairly good sucess with new writers...

✗✗ Yeah. I'm sending out messages now to check the pulse. If I don't hear back by next Monday, they're gone.
I should have done this a long time ago... And yeah, I'll cut back the pairings and try to give this thing a boot in the a**.✗✗

XxXDecimOXxX wow...i guess you really like thriller stories huh? well you can count me in on that one. though i'm not too sure i can RP two characters at the same time, i'll try mY best sweatdrop Not so much with the thrillers any more then any other storyline, (I have a million in my storage guild I am just breaking out one at a time until I can get enough players for them to be considered active.) But thrillers offer the oppertunity for the high suspense and high drama that is very suitable for attracting and keeping interest, and with a high death rate you can actually FINISH stories, which is also uncommon. You don't have to do two chars, I just recommend it since there is no alternative storyline for you once you are dead, so if you guy gets killed off early, there are no new characters accepted. People who have a hard time with multiple characters I always recommend making one a very reclusive non believer, and stay mostly in their room or on their own until your main RPC dies and then let them freak out and try to survive, or occasionally that one dies first... -shrug- The reason I am focusing on my horror plots (and my Casual RPs) is because my Chapter Three RPs are large casts (6+ and 8+) and for now those are moving at a crawl... so I want to keep it light, fresh and with a high turnover rate, to keep the writers I do have working with me engaged and interested enough to be active.

And in Ballad I am looking at the Kings side being mostly unpopulated which makes it hard for those on it (only you x.x) to post. And I am missing the Goddess which is another kinda crucial role since she is the other half of his epic battle. But once I get the King and Goddess I should be okay without the High Mage and the Apprentice for now... So I know where you are coming from. But if I get a moment's worth of time I would be willing to make a second character... >.>

✗✗ Ahahah, poor Ysolt. Or however I spelled her name.
Don't worry about it, the gimmic for the story can be played without pairs, I just have to change a few really minor things. The main one being having two character spots under each stone. You're busy enough as is, I don't want you taking more than you can easily handle.
