Waltz for Luma I don't mind people looking at my Facebook... I do mind presumptuous comments and people acting like they know me just because they see something on Facebook. My life is not the internet and some people can't distinguish that a profile is a form of self-expression. What makes anyone think they can get to know a person through lists they've made of their favorite books and movies? I also despise comments on my Facebook photos, because half the time they're remarks that make me wonder, "Why? Why did you feel the need to say that? What are you hoping to achieve? You choose to permanently fix those words where I can read them everyday because...?" My take on Facebook is basically, look all you want, but don't touch me. And to be completely honest, I started using Limited Profile. So go ahead world, give it your best shot. You're a pretty girl with dozens of pictures of yourself on the internet, of course people are going to do and say stupid things to you. Isn't that stuff taught in Pretty Women 101? Maybe this article can help you out get even less jackasses annoy the s**t out of you? http://www.facebook.com/ext/share.php?sid=53548508532&h=B2nwi&u=S7ISPIn my case - even though I'm neither pretty nor a girl ... no, really - only 3 people can see pictures I've been tagged in, I use limited profile, only friends can post comments and I immediately get an e-mail the moment someone tags me.

That and I've never taken Pretty Woman 101... last time I tried to, I didn't fulfill the prerequisites. ;(

Sevi: Getting there. It's still hard for me to be assertive enough to develop friendships amongst my classes. Art 1A I've got 3 maybe 4 friendships starting to build. Names are Conway(Black), Correy(White), Aiyaka(Japanese), and maybe Brianna (white). Cultural wise I'm good with Conway, Correy and Brianna. I'm being cautious with Aiyaka cause I don't want to have the rockiness I foolishly had with Aivi in the recent past. emo Such as making her uncomfortable or stepping upon ground that's taboo. sweatdrop
Art 3A is a bit more challenging there are acquaintances, Ariel(white), Amanda(white) who is also friends with Ariel)), Neddie(mexican), Borush(Spanish).
ASL 1A Amber(white) and lives just down the road from me who is hard of hearing/ going deaf), Justine(white), Maria(mexican) ASL is a bit harder to make friends with cause we only meet once a week, and we're really focusing on the instructor to understand him, rather than chating to eachother while in class trying to build friendships.
I'm doing good in school even though I feel like I'm going mad. sweatdrop
ASL I'm getting A's and B's on the homework/quizzes, though spelling/reading spelling is still a b***h to do even though I know the alphabet. I'm just having a hard time seeing the words after seeing the spelling. sweatdrop I am picking up on a lot of signs that I knew as a child though. xp
Shawna how goes your ASL class?

That sounds great, Ryo! You know, usually people are very eager to give out info so that they can share answers and study. It's better to have a study partner than to go it alone. 3nodding

Oh I know it's easier to have a study partner especially with ASL cause it's a language. But this is why I'm trying to be more assertive than what I naturally feel comfortable with, Art is really forcing me to be more open and assertive in things. I guess partly because I'm putting part of myself into my pieces and I need to be open and assertive in critique. emo

It's going pretty well. I'm surprised that you meet only once a week, seeing as how we have six hours every week here. I can never get a day off *sobs* I agree with Sevi, it is SO important to have somebody to practice with, especially if you don't meet frequently.
One of the teachers comes up with some very interesting assignments. This week, we need to tell a short story using only one handshape or a sequence of handshapes like the alphabet or numbers. I'm going to try with the "D" handshape.

I do the ASL lab on Mondays and Wednesdays but having someone to use it with is very useful I.E. partly why I'm taking it up right now. razz My class is longer than the rest but it only meets for the only day. it starts at 6:50pm and ends at 9:50pm to that's three hours. Lab is open from 4:30pm to 6:40pm and I usually do it all the way through, unless I need to finish up on my ASL homework then I pop into the Hilb Building(our student lounge in the center of campus) to finish it then go to lab. So really I'm doing 6 or 7 hours of ASL related work a week. Though my ASL grammar is still pretty shitty. xp
Oh and School is Monday thru Thursday for me. Friday saturday and Sunday are my days off thankfully to keep me grounded on my sanity. I've only been thru 5 weeks but I feel like it's ten. gonk

doop doop cashing in on Famestars. Buying round 1, getting to round 3 or 4 and selling them for at least 10k profit. I forfeited one on round 4 and got a jellyfish, which...wasn't worth the trouble. At the moment it's very lucrative to just sell the famestars.

I have a bouncy ball that looks almost exactly like the winter snow crystal fish...thing...amabob. It's the coolest bouncy ball EVER. <3
