Archaeus Chartreuse Hmm... That fellow from earlier must have explained his situation to the others, for they were acting just like him now. Every person Archaeus happened to pass would give him and odd look, shrug, and walk away. Mmm, now he could allow one fan of his to act so odd, but for an entire group? That was just plain out silly. It was incredibly obvious how humiliated they were realizing that he had no intention of signing autographs, and it only made the pop star-looking man snicker. His thousands of adoring fans could be amusing at times. Suddenly hearing someone address him, Archaeus paused and turned to see who it was. Standing before him was a well dressed man - of course not like himself, with perfection for cloth! - but there was a glint in his eye that unnerved the black haired man. Ah. It was so obvious! This man was disguising himself to seem not so desperate like he clearly was! Oh, sometimes it trouble Archaeus how much of a genius he was. Hearing the man's request, Archaeus could not help but chuckle under his breath. Looking for someone... Now he's just making it plain obvious. Silly fan of his. For going through such great lengths, the young man decided that he would humor the other man and give him the autograph he obviously wanted so desperately. "Look no further, dear sir, for I am right here!" he said in a heroic manner. Wasting no time in entrances, he outstretched his arm and held it out towards the man but had it pointing towards the sky. Perhaps it was by the ludicrous stance of his - or in his personal opinion, a gift from the gods - but the clouds had parted at that very instant and let a ray of sunlight pour down on him, glistening him with cartoon-like sparkles. "I, Archaeus Chartreuse, am at your service." ............................................................ ............................................................

Awesome nerd I always picture Arch as blonde, even in spite of the picture. Wtf. D= Marcarius Loewe The daylight and the angels and the wreaths are his whatever crime he may or may not have done...
Marc raised an eyebrow. What...on earth? He glanced back at his body guards, both of whom seemed to be having difficulty keeping straight faces. Marc looked back at the strange young man, wondering if maybe he was some sort of performer. Marc didn't really have time to keep up with the newest idols and the like and he supposed that would make sense. Then again, what would he be doing here?
"Would you happen to know a man named Brent Taylor?" he finally asked, after a long deliberation whether or not he should even continue the conversation. But in the end, he was here for a reason and this character was certainly...odd. Perhaps he knew something? Marc doubted it, but it would look really strange if he left right after approaching him.
Ugh. People were staring. Lovely. Marc did not want to be noticed or recognized--not that his face was terribly famous out there but he'd be'd been in the newspapers a few times (quite against his will). It was possible someone might recognize him from that. Especially now that he was talking to Mr. Sparkles over here. "At any rate, he passed away here the other day, under suspicious circumstances. Ah...I apologize. My name is...Marc. I'm a private investigator hired by his family to look into his death."
A lie, of course, but it had threads of truth in it--enough that it didn't sound like a lie (at least he didn't think so). After all, it was all true except the bit about his profession....bag them like bodies and flick switches one by one to a bedside lamp, then step out into the cold.

StrawberryZ0mbie Maybe because he always acts like one? emotion_awesome Archaeus Chartreuse The sparkles dimmed and the clouds returned to the sky when the man mentioned looking for not Archaeus. The cloudy sky now shadowing over his face, the black-haired man felt his eye twitch for a second before straightening up. Yes, well... Surely this man just made up a name for his own sake! He was obviously too awe-struck to actually rid himself of his classy disguise and praise his idol. Obviously! "I'm afraid I've never heard of him." he confessed to the man that had introduced himself as a private investigator. "I don't usually pay attention to my fans' names, there's just too many of them." he sighed sorrowfully, expecting the pity from the detective. ............................................................ ............................................................

Awesome nerd xDD I think it might be because his personality is a bit similar to a friend's character so I kind of merge them in my head. ....*now wants to see what would happen if Sani and Arch met* I think the universe might implode from the surplus of delusional ego. xDD Marcarius Loewe The daylight and the angels and the wreaths are his whatever crime he may or may not have done... Marc frowned a bit, giving Archaeus a slow glance over, before shaking his head. "I don't think he was a fan of yours." He really didn't think this man was going to be of any use but he supposed it wouldn't hurt o ask a few more questions and have someone tail him for a few days or something. If he really had that many fans, he probably wouldnt' even notice.
"I'm sorry--I didn't get your name? And can I ask what you were doing two days ago--did you happen to be at this location? Do you come here often? We're trying to find any possible witnesses to the events that led up to Mr. Taylor's death. I'm sure you ca imagine, but his family is extremely distraught and would like to find the criminals as soon as possible and see them brought to justice."
Well, if this guy really was involved--which Marc doubted--maybe that little emphasis on family would clue him in that Marc meant business. Marc fished around in his suit pocket for a small notepad and pen. If he was playing the part of a detective, he might as well look like he was doing some actual work....bag them like bodies and flick switches one by one to a bedside lamp, then step out into the cold.

StrawberryZ0mbie :0 Is... Is that person in this guild? And hey, have you ever played the Ace Attorney games? Archaeus Chartreuse Hearing the rather rude comment about the poor man not being a fan of his - Which was absolutely ludicrous! - Archaeus felt his eyebrow twitch. The nerve for this.... detective to dare lie to his face! How.... How... abhorrent! Archaeus opened his mouth to address this problem, his hand raised with an index finger raised in readied scolding, but he was stopped by the abundance of questions thrown at him. Closing his mouth as his index finger wilted, the pop star-esque stared in amazement for a second, not expecting so many questions or how to even answer them all; but his awe soon transformed into irritation. With a clenched jaw, Archaeus brought his hands to his head and massaged his temples. "Stop it, stop it, stop it!" he finally yelled and glowered at the man. This man - Marc, yes? - was trying to ask him all sorts of fan-related questions, no doubt trying to disguise them as detective work, but Archaeus was no fool. He could see right through that petty ruse, and, frankly, it was just getting bothersome now. But the black-haired man could forgive all of that had it not been for one question asked: What was his name? Now, he was more than sure he had given a flawless introduction, the skies had even parted to aid him! But this man... He dared to ignore such... such perfection?! Unthinkable! Inconceivable! "Now hear now, sir," he started with his finger raised in a scolding manner and his eyebrows furrowed. "I am more than sure I have introduced myself. You must still be awestruck from meeting me and actually hearing my wonderful voice, so I will forgive you this once. My name is Archaeus Chartreuse. As for two days ago, I simply went about myself in my usual manner: walking about the town to observe its wares for anything that could capture my fancy. Ah yes, and school. I attend the nearby school over yonder - Reverie Academy, I believe the name is. So yes to your other question, I come here on a regular basis." ............................................................ ............................................................

"Oh did you?" Marc said, writing down the ridiculous name. "I assumed it was a made up name but you mean it's actually real? I can assure you that if I was awestruck it was by how much your parents must have hated you to have given you that name." He gave the man a pleasant smile as he scribbled down that the 'boy' attended a school nearby. Well, that explained the personality, he figured. Marc had naturally assumed him to be older but if he was just a teenager, no wonder he dressed like that.
Kids these days. Honestly.
"So you come here on a regular basis but somehow managed not to be here two days ago...and didn't witness anything out of the ordinary?"
Ugh. He hoped some of the others were having more luck figuring out who could have been behind Brent's murder. At any rate, maybe if his family was ever hard up for cash, they could kidnap this kid for ransom. Anyone with a name that obnoxious had to be rich......bag them like bodies and flick switches one by one to a bedside lamp, then step out into the cold.

Archaeus Chartreuse Archaeus gaped when the man mentioned his name being ridiculous. How absurd! His name was as perfect as he was, this man was simply jealous! "How... How dare you speak of my wonderful name as such!" he said with puffed cheeks. "And I'll have you know that my parents are dead!" With a puffed frown, the diva of a man crossed his arms and sourly looked away. Ah yes, his family. Another flaw to Archaeus' narcissism was that he had no idea about his life. He was read to life out of a horrible fanfiction, one that constantly changed his past. Why, just a few hours ago he claimed that his parents were werewolves, and now... "My parents got into a huge clash when I was but a child. My father wanted me to travel the world and show the world my beauty and grace, but my mother didn't want the world's people to be so envious. Alas, it ended in bloodshed, and I was forced to leave behind my deceased family." he sniffed then held up a determined fist, a sparkle in his black eyes. "But I will honor them by showing the world - Nay, the universe! - my perfection!" ............................................................ ............................................................

Marcarius Loewe The daylight and the angels and the wreaths are his whatever crime he may or may not have done... Marc listened to the melodramatic story that spewed from Archaeus' mouth with slight consternation. There was no way that ridiculous story was true (not unless the insanity was genetic.) He studied Arch silently for a long moment, finally deciding there was no way a man could be that melodramatic and stupid. Surely there were no men in the world that stupid.
"Do you really expect me to believe that??" he asked incredulously. "Come to think of it, are you really even as famous as you claim to be? No one around here seems to be paying any attention to you..."
This fellow was rather pretty wasn't he? Too pretty. With those sort of androgynous looks...
"Is there any chance you're actually a woman in men's clothing?" he blurted out. That would explain so much....bag them like bodies and flick switches one by one to a bedside lamp, then step out into the cold.

Archaeus Chartreuse Archaeus blinked when he did not receive the pity he so greatly deserved. Well, he supposed the amazement on the man's face would suffice. Wait, what did he ask? Did he... doubt his fame? U-Unthinkable! What kind of fan would dare say that to his idol?! "Oh! How dare you say such a thing to me!" the self-proclaimed idol fumed. "For your information, these good people are merely acting as though they are carrying on with their regular lives. It is a mere ruse to make me believe they are not stalking me, watching my every step. They are obviously paparazzi... Or I guess it's not so obvious if you can't tell. Might as well, not everyone can be a genius like me!" he laughed while splaying a hand over his own chest. His laughter, however, slowly died down when the question on whether he was a woman or not hung in the air. Archaeus stayed motionless in mid-laugh, all noise produced from him going mute as he registered the question."Is there any chance you're actually a woman in men's clothing?" "Is there any chance you're actually a woman in men's clothing?" "Is there any chance you're actually a woman in men's clothing?" "...woman...""Just who do you think you are to ask me such a ludicrous question?!" Archaeus finally exploded, steam shooting from his ears and a wall of fire behind him. "I am 100% man, thank you very much! I have the muscles of a god and other equally amazing appendages that I will refrain from mentioning in public! I realize that my beauty might compare to that of a gallant prince or even a magnificent lady, but that is no reason to ask me such a thing, dear sir!" he yelled, wisps of flames escaping his mouth with each word said. ............................................................ ............................................................

Marcarius Loewe The daylight and the angels and the wreaths are his whatever crime he may or may not have done...
Marc lifted an eyebrow, calmly watching Archaeus' overblown reaction. The people around them were merely acting? Really? It was more like no one cared--until he started shouting. That definitely got people looking--and shying away. "Ah...my mistake. I meant to ask if you're an escaped mental patient, but I believe you just answered..."
Wait.
Wait, wait, wait.
What if this guy actually knew everything? What if he actually was meant to distract Marcarius from figuring out the truth? What if, by allowing himself to be distracted by his antics, Marc was playing right into it? Clearly, no one was going to actually be walking around dressed like that, acting like a misplaced Shakespearean actor...out in the middle of no where. It couldn't be coincidence that such an obviously suspicious person ended up at the same spot as Marc while he was trying to learn something about the death of one of the family.
Marc frowned. "Hey. You really know something about the murder don't you?" he finally said, leaning over to look Arch in the eye. He reached into his jacket for his pistol. They would just have to take him somewhere more private for some casual interrogation just to be on the safe side...

Archaeus Chartreuse Archaeus leaned back when Marc leaned in. What was this hooligan do.... Oh.... Ooh...! It all made sense now! This man was in love with him! So entranced by this idea was Archaeus that he didn't even hear the question about the murder or notice Marc reach into his coat for something. "Ah, how bothersome it can be to be so perfect." he sighed under his breath with a woeful look. Looking back at Marc with pitiful eyes, the pop star-esque man reached out and put a gloved hand on the other's shoulder. "Listen, dear sir, although it disheartens me to say this, I feel no affection for you, especially the one you obviously feel for me." ............................................................ ............................................................

Marc shook his head, pulling back slightly. What? What was he? Did he just? What!? Marc grabbed the front of Arch's shirt angrily, giving him a rough shake.
"What did you say? Are you playing me for a fool?" he snapped. "I know you had something to do with this! What--are you supposed to be trying to distract me? Throw me off the trail? Who are you working for?" he hissed. He drew his pistol, jamming it not-so-gently into Arch's side. "Tell me who you really are."
"Now."
Somehow it didn't occur to him that he might be overreacting. Or attracting attention. Or doing something incredibly illegal. Okay, actually, the last one did occur to him, but he ignored the little voice that was telling him to calm down. The little voice was annoying an needed to go burn and die. And so did this guy. And his ugly shoes....bag them like bodies and flick switches one by one to a bedside lamp, then step out into the cold.

Archaeus Chartreuse Archaeus froze when he saw the gun aimed at him, suddenly turning pale. Oh dear.... Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Now he understood everything perfectly, this man was kidnapping him and going to sell him to a crazed fan! Oh dear... For a man that was currently being threatened with his life, Archaeus was surprisingly calm. "Dear sir," he said in an even tone. "I must warn you now that I can destroy you with a simple wink of my eye." he explained. Oh there were times when he used his powers and failed, but he felt assured that it was because of a force-field around the school. Now that he was out in the open he was sure he could use his powers. It was so obvious! ............................................................ ............................................................

Kevin Baker Kevin walked along the sidewalk across from the scene being made a little ways off, not wanting to get into the spotlight and getting glares from every direction. Wincing at the very thought, and memories, he lifted his right arm and looked at the bandages that traveled all the way to his elbows. He'd need to wait a few weeks for the cuts to heal so he could have spaces to bleed out the poison again, or he'll have to resort to his legs or even his stomach - none of which he wasn't used to.

Caspar MacKenzie A blond young man zoomed across the highway on his black steed, smiling to himself at the feeling of of the wind on his body, whipping his blazer open and wrapping around him. He grinned, the feeling of freedom bringing such joy to him that he could hardly stand it. Oh, such a wonderful thing to be fr- Sppppputttttter"Huh?" Caspar glanced down at the bike, blinking. "Esmeralda, what's wrong, baby?" The motorcycle sputtered again, this time angrier. Caspar sweatdropped and let out a cry. "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!"He swerved over to the side of the road, stopping right in front of a young boy with black hair and bandages. Swinging his leg over the seat, Caspar knelt beside his pride and joy, stroking the side. "What's wrong, baby, talk to me!" he begged, rubbing the seat sweetly. The bike sputtered in reply, before shuddering and collapsing. The young rider's lower lip trembled as he lifted his bike back upright. "Sh_t. Of course you break down when I can't see an auto shop anywhere!" The blond draped himself over the seat, whining. "THAT'S NOT FAIR! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SUCH A JERKY MOTORCYCLE?!" Caspar whimpered, shoulders shuddering. "Motorcycles are stupid..."
