Kara Madora Hiei the Epic Kara Madora I'm just hoping this guild doesnt die on me like the last two RP guilds I joined. *Kara the guild killer it seems like sometimes OTL* (Though I suppose everyone has killed one guild or another, or at least a thread) When she came in she was RPing as Shishi. *nods* It is interesting seeing how the different canon characters are being played. I like seeing how other people view the character, and sometimes I add that to my headcanon for that character.
i like seeing different perspectives on characters. i try extremely hard to do Hiei justice, but i think any canon rper goes through times where they wonder if people feel they're "doing it right".
granted i don't care so much these days. after a couple of years... i suppose i get lazy in caring.
i think the guild is doing pretty well so far. the hard thing with guilds is that they don't get seen a lot by outsiders, so we have to spread it around to people. maybe we could make a recruitment thread in Barton OOC linking to the guild?Shishi is my new second fave character thanks to her XD At last convention we had two Yusuke, two Youko, a Kuwabara, a Kurama, a teen Koenma, and A baby koenma. Was cutest thing. I have only played a few canon characters, but they are usually obscure ones that no one really cares about unless they watched that particular episode or that movie or something. I think so too, and I'm glad I'm not the one to kill it. XD If you want. And best of luck if you do. *Has bad luck with threads*
ours was pretty nice last time. we had a couple of Yusuke, i think there were two Kuwabara, a Koenma, Botan, Juri, Koto, Shishi, Karasu... ah... a couple of Kurama and Hiei (i always do Hiei) and... damn. i'm missing some. i know it.

You make an awesome Hiei. A year or so ago we had a Masked fighter. We dont get many Yu Yu cosplayers over at Fanime. I'll be Suzaku, and I'm hoping to see the Yusuke's I hung out with this year. I want to see a Karasu or a shishi so badly. Heck, I want to see any non main group character badly

i go to sakuracon, and we just got lucky in that we had a big group last year. i don't think this year (april) will be so big, sadly.
YYH is so underrated. i'm happy there will be a Yukina, though. i will drag her all over the place and we will take epic Yukina x Hiei pictures.
BUT SHE'S TALLER THAN ME.

*awesomeglompagegalore* I'm not quite Yu Yu cosplay material. I have wanted to cosplay, but as as redhead who refuses to dye her hair, all I can dress up as is Kurama v.v And Frankly, I'd make a very...womanly Kurama. So can't have that, as a cosplay perfectionist. Though I have considered a FMA cosplay of Olivia Armstrong... Definitely can do that with ease with my face being similar to hers, if i can find an awesome Blonde wig and a seamstress that can made a supah fly military costume!...But then again....TX is too hot for wool T^T My cosplaying odds are looking quite pathetic

bah. that's what wigs are for.
i am native american and look it, though i have some genetic issues so i am stupidly pale. i've had people compliment me for being asian (which i am not at all) and complain about my skin being too pale (which it probably is).
but you can only match a cartoon character to a certain degree.
i'm not really the elitist sort. >_> and i think i enjoy the in-character aspects more. i get to literally look and act like Hiei for 3 days straight and everyone is cool with it.
aside from the glomping lolis that pop out of nowhere, people don't bother me really. cons are usually really accepting.
last year i walked through a mall in costume and a bunch of kids followed me squealing. they thought i was a real ninja. i completely pretended i was too. it was epic.

Off topic desperate rant:
*sigh* I'm sorry that I show up like this out of nowhere,with a completely off topic,oblivious,and unexplainable post...
But since the title says ''why humans are stupid'',and I came to the conclusion that I am the best example to that, I've decided to post this...
Only 10 hours left (if I completely exclude sleep..that I most probably will ) till my final Anatomy exam,and here I am having left about 150 pages of embriology and different segments of the digestive system to read......not to mention to understand and memorize as good as I can..... gonk gonk gonk
God...I keep doing this every single time....*head desk*
If I'll manage to go trough everything and pass trough a miracle.....I'll probably still feel stupid for this... OTL|||

I usually don't do much drama about such matters...I've been trough worse... but seeing as the title was about human stupidity,I found it most fitting to my situation stare
Oh well...please wish me some little luck for tomorrow...I'll need all the luck in the world to actually get 3 subjects that I partially know well ......

To make this still a little bit in topic:
-Yes,poor Shishi and many other awesome characters are almost completely underrated in an underrated show and NO ONE can convince me that Light Yagami or Misa deserve all the attention they are granted (seeing as about 10 Lights and ...hmm...what...20 Misas? where at our cons..) yet, somehow I'm relieved there have been no YYH cosplays at our Cons...they would most likely end up as total failures...like the fat red neck Sebastian I've seen once neutral

When I was cosplaying Suzaku, I was surprised how many people came up to me and told me that they had just started watching YYH mad that I was their fave character so far. It was refreshing to see so many new fans.
I keep talking to people and every now and again I'll meet another fan. It is nice to see that it has a fan base where I am.
What state is Sakuracon in? Mine is in CA

yes, but how often is that useful?
i'd prefer to be able to reach the top shelf, let alone the second to top. plus, people always think you're weak when you're short.

Hahaha XD I would have loved to see that! Hiei really being trailed by squealing girls. And That's pretty cool! I've always been told I should go into acting...And Olivia Armstrong? Right down my ally. I was a drum major for my band in high school for 3 yrs and I assure you I turned into a Raging Military sergeant with a power complex. I really want to try her though...just to see if I can scare the sh1t out of some Edwards...cause I bet you I could twisted I know you can only match a cartoon character to a certain degree, but one of my favorite hobbies is to see if I can translate cartoon into real life, whether be through drawing, picture hunting, etc. I just get excited to see if it can be done..it's a challenge I love to take on. (as you saw by the real life pic I found of Yusuke) But you capture Hiei quite well, hiei! lol I think redheads should play redheads, but their are few awesome redheads that I can pursue, but Olivia I can make an exception for due to her sheer epicness. Seeee?   (considered a naruto roleplay as Naruto's Redheaded mom too, but apparently, naruto is now taboo by alot of anime fans now.)

i like doing the cosplay, but i don't know what to do with fans. at all.
i'm not... people oriented. at all.
i just like Hiei. i relate well to the character and he was my favorite when i was a kid so. yeah. anyhow.
you would pull off that girl well. especially with your facial structure.
i know what you mean about the realism thing. i've tried to draw Hiei in a realistic sense, but it's difficult. those gigantic eyes... ugh.

Heheh, unfortunately I don't think I could pull off any YYH gang off really well like I want to. But, this year or next year's Youmacon I plan on trying to be Kurama. I have speaking like him down to art after all, it's just....Kurama's like 5'11" and I'm 5'5" -.-"
