Dewleaf sighs, sounding very much exhausted, then turns to Showerstar.
"Thank you for comming. I knew that you would want to see her." she mews, motioning toward Willowcloud with her tail.
Lotusleaf and Duskfeather gratefully pad into camp, jaws feeling like they were about to fall off, and deposit their prey onto the fresh kill pile. The deputy shakes his head, freeing clumps of vole fur from his muzzle, then rubs it with his paw.
"My jaw is going to be sore for a moon." he complains.

Sits in the camp center with her short tail wrapped around her paws "I hope I'll be made a apprentice soon, and get a really good mentor. I'm almost 6 moons old."

Sunflare heard a cat talking to herself. She peeked over. It was a kit, almost six moons old. "Hi there" she said, padding in front of the kit.

((I deeply apologize for being gone so long. I went to the hospital in an ambulance last month and after I got home, became very sick. I Healed quickly, But I slowed down in a ton of things, never got back to this. I'm sorry.))
Showerstar sat down and curled his tail over his paws, thinking. His golden eyes had rested on Dewleaf. "You need rest." He meowed.
"Perhaps a moon and a half." Duskfeather meowed, chuckling a bit.

OH MY GOSH. What happened? I was wondering where you had gone off to. Are you alright?
Dewleaf proptly shakes her head in disagreement at her leader's statement.
"I'm fine." she mews simply in answer.
Lotusleaf chuckles back, then goes silent, his eyes and mind wandering. He couldn't remember the last time he had ever felt so... content, especially in the heat of crisis. 'And then....' he thinks to himself as he gazes at Duskfeather from the corner of his eye. He couldn't explain the type of warmth he felt whenever the she-cat was near him, nor could understand why her presence comforted him more than any other, or why her voice sounded so much sweeter than the other she-cats. Lotusleaf had never had much of a bond with anyone with the strong exception of Whitewind, but this bond he had with Duskfeather felt different, strange, and the more he thought about it, the hotter his pelt became until the point came to where he just couldn't stand it. Flustered enough to even make the fur on his tail fluff up a little, the deputy turns his gaze sharply away from the she cat.
"T... thank you for hunting with me." he mews in nervous chops, which only made his fur heat up more.
'What is wrong with me? I'm deputy to Fireclan but I'm acting like a kit who just got caught sneaking.' he silently scolds himself, feeling very foolish and embarassed.

((I don't really know, It was unbearable abdominal pain and other things, I felt like dying quite honestly. Eventually I couldn't move and they had to carry me ect. ect....it was horrible....but while in the hospital everything went away, I was fine, like nothing ever happened. When i got home I got sick for almost a week and slept like days away. I'm okay now, it was very strange. But I think God had a purpose for it..))
"No, you're not. Do not argue with me, I'm much too tired to be arguing." Showerstar meowed with a twitch of his whiskers.
Duskfeather's heather eyes watched Lotusleaf, figuring his mind to be wandering once again. She smiled with sadness in her eyes. "You're welcome." She meowed. "Sometimes it's nice not to have to feel the burdens of everything else." She meowed. "They disappear for a time when I'm with you." She meowed softly, eyes filled with sorrow.

Oh my gosh, I'm glad your better now. Did the doctors not figure it out? And in other news, I haven't been faring well either. I had surgery last week which is why I haven't been active, so I feel ya. Us cripples need to stick together! XD And I'm pretty sure all this happened for a reason but...... I would KILL to know how this is supposed to better us.... Oh well. As long as we recover, that's all that counts. Oh, and I'm glad to have you back by the way. Just wanted to say that I missed ya. smile
Dewleaf mirrored her leader's fatigue, but her will to keep watch over Willowcloud faught with her will to sleep. The battle was easily won in the end, and there was nothing the she-cat could do but bow her head.
"Alright Showerstar. But if I am to rest and put off my duties, then you are ordered to do the same. Agreed?" she mews, a small, skunky part of her determined to not let Showerstar win compleatly.
Lotusleaf burned within his pelt, but his ears twiched at her last murmured statement. Surprise was the first to overtake hem, then confusion snaked in, and after that, a strange, sudden surge of... something... that brought up enough courage to face her. Only, when he turned to look at her, his surprise, as well as his confusion, grew at the emotion in her eyes. Undauntingly, that confusion gave him the fuel to speak somewhat clearly again.
"What's wrong?" he mews in concern at the sadness he saw, as well as felt, coming from the she-cat.
'Did I say something?' he thought, not comprehending.

Showerstar smiled softly at Dewleaf. "I have just woken up." He meowed. "And there is one thing I must take to before resting. But I will get my share of rest, do not worry." He meowed. "And I do believe I'm the one giving orders." He meowed. He looked over at Willowcloud. "I'll return later." He meowed, standing up and nodding her off to her bedding.
Duskfeather blinked at him, sensing his confusion. She smiled a bit at him. "It is not you that's made me sad, Lotusleaf. It is you that have made me happy." She meowed.

Lightningclaw padded through the camp enterance and came directly to Blossomfur "Did you find Whitekit?" she meowed worriedly, "No, she isn't a easy one to find, even with her white fur, I'll ask Showerstar if he can make a patrol to look for her, I don't feel right, it was my job to keep an eye on her! I'm sorry Blossomfur, but if we don't find her, she might die." He meowed as he went to speak with Showerstar.

Dapplestream let out a small sigh as she went to get a mouse from the fresh-kill pile. Walking over to where she usually sat to eat her prey. she looked down taking small bites from her mouse, before looking off into the distance. she wasn't sure why she was feeling this way, and her light blue hues had a hint of saddness in them

I jacked up my ankle something horrible durring soccer then a guy on my team kicked me, and then decided it was a good idea to keep playing on it. Long story short, I tore a piece of tissue that keeps your tendons in place, so they moved to the side of my foot instead of staying behind it, and I cracked a bone. I'm looking at a year and a half recovery time after I get off crutched in four weeks. It sucks... let me tell you.
To Kagehi: There's no need to be nervous. Just jump in with the drama! xD
Dewleaf lets out a sigh of relief, not sure if it was from the thought of being able to rest, Showerstar following her advice, or both.
"Thank you." she mews, "And I was speaking to you as your Medicine cat." she continues, then licks his shoulder respectfully, apologizing for her harsh tone before. "Wake me if something pops up." she finalizes before turning as disappearing into her den.
Lotusleaf's ears swivel back and forth with anxiety, suddenly taken aback and uncertian of just how to reply to her. With the tip of his tail shaking like a leaf, he finally juts out a nod.
"Alright." he mews shakily, his pelt on fire. "Go get some rest. You're heading the dawn patrol."
With that, he turns and quickly makes his way back out of camp again, more confused and nervous that before. 'Whitewind, what is wrong with me.' he mews dispairingly in his head, casting his leaf green eyes up at the slowly appearing shine of Silverpelt.
