Silver Alexander Excellent... excellent... *Takes notes on things he can steal from Vahn.* Steal WHAT? His omni-gear just exploded. So now, rather than Vahn wearing pieces of Vahn, he's just... The Vahn. And if Silver tries to kill him so that he can become him, that would mean *gasp* Vahn was earing Silver's face all along! >.> <.< *Goes to hide the remnants of his plans to kill Silver so that he can become him.*

Okay, so I did read it. Vahn Kyonuske Never recognized as the Scion of Efreet, the only one able to wield the burning Fang, able to withstand the avatar's own blood--- because they had all been rightfully his, and his alone. Vahn WAS Efreet. Efreet IS Vahn. Well!Interesting this should come up. I plan to challange that right in the future. Anyway, untill tomorrow...

Shouyin So... they're both gods.
SunxVahn sex must be -******** up-. Well to be honest, Efreet was never a God. Enki made that much clear with his rping of Leviathan, but their often miscontrued as gods. They have omnipotent control of their respective elements, but can't control other elements, while a God feasibly would be able to command any element or all forms of energy cakes, etc etc. That and Gods tend to be immortal, whereas the avatars are just insanely prolonged living, and continuation through inheritance or slumber.

Yeah... when I finish my beastiary that's going in there.
True gods are, well... true gods.
Beings of incredible power are often worshipped as gods by things lesser than they, or claim to be gods, or so on, but are not real gods.
I definately make that much of a distinction between things in my own characters, too. As in, I've got one in GTB that is worshipped as a god but is just... y'know... beastly. And one that you'd call a 'godslayer level' compared to the people in that tourney, but couldn't really do something to a real god because things just aren't as simple as how big a kaboom you can make. While the one that just 'blinked' everyone to saftey would qualify as a bonified "> you" God.
...which is why that one will never, under any circumstances, participate in combat of any way, shape, or form.

To be honest, I'm wondering if GTB should be canonical or not.
Shouyin asked me a good question on MSN and I don't quite know how to place GTB in my timeline.

Vahn Kyonuske Maybe Shouyin is the avatar of earth >_> Do I have to dig up the whole Captain Planet thing again? Shou: " Earth!" Vahn: " Fire!" Hugin: " Wind!" Enki: " Water!" Mati: " Heart!" "By your powers combined... I am THE WALL!"

I'unno, I think Shouyin is just an elemental.
Maybe I'll upgrade him to avatar sometime later on.

I'm treating it sort of like 'The Movie'... where it's not canon with the series, but it takes place in an abstractly defined period in the series timeline but none of the events from it really carry over to the series since it was just a fanboy wetdream. Basically my guys are there for canonical reasons, will act like it's canon, but nothing will be resolved in the end and it'll be like it never happened.

I wasn't happy about destroying my items all at once.

Maybe I'll upgrade him to avatar sometime later on. I thought he was a half-golem? You'd sort of have to upgrade to elemental, THEN upgrade to avatar... Though for the upgrade there'll have to be a badass trial and he'll have to kill some other earth guy who's currently the avatar in order to take his place through rite of combat.

Vahn Kyonuske Lol, sounds good to me. I wasn't happy about destroying my items all at once. Yeah... even if it was treated as sort of the 'not worth mentioning' type of canon, we could write off the existential crap to amnesia due to power overflow or something, but artifacts shattering is sort of a one-way trip. As cool as it always is to see a character shed their enchanted gear and go into things without it.
