  I honestly don't know why I am writing this, I guess because some one once told me that although we don't live forever as long as we are remember we will be immortal. That kind of immortality is the kind I want not to live forever but to be remember as even if you live forever sooner or later some one will forget you. Just look at all the Gods and Goddesses who have been forgotten over time. To be remember like the heroes of old is better then that. My name is Odysseus Mcbrian, yes my mother named me Odysseus. I have no idea why she chose the name maybe she wanted me to inherit the previous owner of the name skills. If so its not working now just because I said that doesn't mean I am stupid but I'm also not as smart as the first Odysseus was I'm what you would call average in that department. Anyways most people cal me Matt and that is also how I introduce myself to others. I am fifteen years of age, I live in San Francisco, Californa, and I am a demigod. Surprised I thought so its not everyday you get to read a biography by a demigod. Though which God I am half of I have no idea seems like dear old Dad hasn't noticed me yet. Not that I blame him who ever my Dad is I am sure he has lots of other kids to deal with so he probably doesn't have time for me but nobody really has time to deal with me.
Now your probably trying to picture what I look like right now. I'll make that very easy for you to do then seeing how I am such a nice guy and all. I look like your average teenager basically so I would say I am about five feet and five inches tall weighing around 145 pounds of mostly muscle. Now do I work out not really but I do surf a lot and I have gain most of my muscle from that the rest is all natural. Now being out in the sun almost all day everyday I have acquired a tan over the years. Thats my body now time to tell you what my face looks like I have green eyes and black hair and a smile that I have been told could win over any girl. All in all I can be called handsome if I am what a girl is looking for. So because of that you think that getting a girl would be easy and you would be right it is quite easy. The problem is keeping her as it is hard to keep a girl around when you get attacked by the Trojan Dragons. So yeah I have never kept a girlfriend for more then a month. So yeah it sucks but hey nothing I can do about it so why try to worry about as worrying does nothing but waster time you have to do other things.
Well you can probably tell by now that I seem to look at the dark side of things. That however is not all that true I only look at the bad side of things occasionally. For the most part I have a happy go with the flow attitude which you probably could tell by now as well. Trust me if you dealt with the things I have dealt with you would go with the flow as well. To just go with the flow is a lot easier and I find it to be how I act naturally. However when I go against the flow you will know immediately . As when I go against the flow it is because of something big. My go with flow attitude reflects in how I fight as instead of trying to resist a punch I move with it. Yes I do get into fights and usually its their fault not mine, I am not the kind of guy who takes crap from anybody so I mostly ignore them but when someone hits a certain button or goes to far I got to choice but to knock some sense into them. You can all agree on that after a while you got to show them whose boss same with monster you show weakness to a monster your good as dead. as I have said before I love to Surf and I am actually a professional surfer of sorts when I am not being attacked by monsters. I also like to sit on the beach and watch the sand set under the horizon. And while I do have things I like I also have things I hate such as bullies ,girls who she me only as a trophy, and monsters.
Now that I have successfully introduced myself while hopefully keeping your attentions it is time to get to the story of the boy named Odysseus McBrain. I was born on June first, to May Mcbrian. From what my relatives told me I was a very hyper little kid always getting into trouble and such. It was only until I was seven that we learned that I had ADHD, and Dyslexia. I can never remember my Mother as she died in an accident when I was only three years old. After that seeing how no one in my Mother's family wanted to take care of me I was sent to an orphanage where I was adopted by a young couple named Dan and Carly Wike. Though for some reason they kept my last name instead of changing it to theres. They are pretty cool parents they are not to strict nor to lax when it come to raising me. They raised me right and if my Mother could see me living with them I was sure she would be very happy. My parents are one of the few goods things in my life. School is not one of them as well when I started school they learned that I had ADHD and Dyslexia so I was put into special classes. Being in special classes doesn't bode well when you are dealing with bullies because they mess with you more then other kids just because you learn slow. So yeah school sucks and worse when I started middle school. That was when monsters started coming after me more. You can imagine how it feels to all of the sudden be in a fight and no body knows that you could die. It doesn't help that mortals can't see through the mist. It would help a lot if a mortal could see that one of my friends turned out to be a giant who wanted to eat me.
My only solace was surfing which distracted my mind from all my troubles. Well not really there was also Alexis my only real friend but we were only friends nothing more nothing else and for some reason she would stick with me through thick and thin. Not even my fights with monsters drove her away so she was indeed a rare find and the perfect friend I could ever ask for. I have had other friends but most of them ran off on me and one proved to be a giant. Lucky for me Alexis loves to surf as well so for the most part we always hanging out with each other. You could say we were joined at the hip. So yeah that is my life so far to you it may be adventurous and interesting. Thats you to me its just my life nothing special just my life. Sure it has its moment like surfing hanging out with Alexis. It also has bad ones like the constant bullying and monster attacks. This is my story ,my life, and maybe in a few thousand years some one will find this story and I will become a myth, a legend, and immortal figure.
