I've not read Harry Potter. Since the last one came out, my interest has really just sort of died. Rowling's really not that great a writer, and Harry's a whiny little mofo. But, according to my sources, Harry (spoiler smile Is Jesus. No lie.
But, y'know, unless someone else in my family makes the effort to buy it, or one of my friends lends it to me, I don't plan of reading it. The hype has really ruined it for me.

Hahahaha well... The hype is actually true... The last book.. OH MAN. The ending was freaking perfect... PERFECT *Shakes you all* And her writing gets better every book... It was quite good this time 'round. Really? I was worried about how she ended it... BUt it was bloody PERFECT. PEERRRRRFFFFEEEEECTTTTT *shuts herself up*
BUt yeah, all in all, the series is definitely worth reading. It really really is...

...I really miss our old characters. Y'know, the ones we had in RPs ages ago? We've all had some really good ones. We need to like, bring them back some time.

And I think I must be the only person who doesn't hate Harry. HE ISN'T THAT BAD. COME ON!

Haha no one likes Harry because it's just too...mary-sue...at least to ME...like he had hardly any flaws except for the fact his parents were killed. What the heck?
Than again I don't read the books so I don't know that much. XD I just LOVE Ron to death...haha...he's funny.
Yeaaah I miss some of my characters...
Wasn't someone talking about wanting to bring back Eye Tech or whatever? I mean now with the other rp COMING to an end...except for the fact SOME people don't post. *cough*lala*cough* It won't be too hard to start it again.
But that's up to you, I dunno...>>; Blaaah I'm gonna go play a new game I got from blockbuster now! Suckehs.

I agree with J-Chan that Harry is such a darn Gary-Stu. I mean, he has a couple little flaws, but they are so tiny that it just gets annoying.
I miss our RP too, it makes me sad that they keep dieing. Anyway, how far along is the other rp, out of the forest yet I wanna bring my character in >.>

Hahaha I dunno what you guys are TALKING about. Harry's no Gary. *pouts* Unless you guys have read the books, you shouldn't bash 'em... I mean, there's only so DIFFERENT a teenaged boy could be before he becomes ridiculous and unbeleveable too. No, I think Rowling, as the books progressed, really did well on ALL of her characters... I mean, sure, if you read the first couple, he seems rather simple... But she reveals more about him as she goes on.

Dood, guys, Harry is NOT perfect in the least. He's so human it's not even funny! In fact he's so human he gets on my nerves a lot.
He isn't the smartest or most brilliant. That's Hermione. He's just good at whatever against the Dark Arts. THAT'S ABOUT IT. Otherwise the boy pretty much fails. Have you guys even read the books? MY GOODNESS.
And oh NOES he's good at a sport? A sport AND one single measly class that he SHOULD be good at otherwise HE'D BE DEAD? God forbid.
Harry is anything but a flat character. And he's only popular, why? Hello, he's famous, it's not his fault. He gets hated and loved all the same time every other minute. HE'S NOT PEEEERFEEEECT.... and he doesn't even have that many friends! Just Ron and Hermione! TWO CLOSE FRIENDS. THE END. How is THAT flat? How does that make him too perfect?
ANYWAY. I HAD TO GET THAT OUT. I get peeved when people think Harry is perfect. Because he's NOT. He gets all hot headed and stubborn about things and we're all like: WTF HARRY YOU'RE DUMB.
But it's this totally human reaction to things!

Hhaha, J, m'dear... I'm only peeved because it irks me when opinions are so loosely based with no real root to them, no real solid basis. You should NEVER have a strong opinion without looking at all sides of things. It's something that REALLY gets under my skin AND makes you look at least seven kinds of stupid. I really think that's what creates SO many dipshits in this world.
It would have bothered me just the same whether it had been Harry Potter or something a thousands times more important... because man there are a million things more important than stupid freaking Harry Potter.

Haha I never said it was a strong opinion. Just an opinion. It'd be like me saying spinach is disgusting and someone arguing at me because for them its good. It's just a matter of tastes. Everyone has their own.
Even if spinach IS disgusting...
