My dad's dog is now about fourteen years old, he survived an attack from a mountain lion this year.

I know! I don't know how they manage to keep them on. I try and put hats on my dogs and they paw it off as if it were on fire.

we used to have a pomeranian and we would alway put bows and clips in her hair that was my mother's baby she was named Princess lol although she was named after royalty she was always in the mud with the other dogs and she hated being pampered rofl

I pjut a bow on my cat once, she just sat there and growled at me like a dog until I took it off, then she would not have ANYTHIGN to do with me for the rest of the day.

wow lol I had a teddy bear that came with a jacket and cap and I thought it would be funny to dress up my chihuahua in it...he wasn't amused. He refused to sit on my lap for quite a while lol

Most peopel give animals too little credit I think.

Yea, they are very smart, had one dog that would jump the gate and sleep on the sofa on the porch and in the morning hop out when she heard us moving around in the house.

I totally agree people give animals too little credit. They are smart and have emotions too.
I'd like a fishtank full of pet jellyfish, I find the small ones with long tentacles look really pretty and their bobbing is relaxing to watch.

Jellyfishes as a pets. Wow, that's really interesting idea.
My sisters cat has learned to sit and rise her paw if she gets some treats in return. whee
