Amu Tsukiyomi-sama sabrinix Amu Tsukiyomi-sama sabrinix Amu Tsukiyomi-sama *squees a ton* I HAVE A CUTE PUPPY!!!! when did this happen? what kind? Today, at 4pm. He's a Yorkshire Terrier. 8 weeks old. I'm naming him Shakespeare. ^_^v I love Shakespeare so much, so... d'aww 4laugh are there pictures? now i miss my cat...Yes. I have to do some work....but I'll have it such that people can see them. ^_^v alright. smile

Amu Tsukiyomi-sama Seiji-ojisan "The Incredibles" was awesome! xd You think the "Spirited Away" dub was bad? I know they changed stuff, but I didn't think their voices were bad. neutral Lin's was especially good. I also like how in the dub, Chihiro didn't lose her memory of the entire thing like she did in the Japanese version. emotion_donotwant My issue with changing the stuff in translation is only because it makes more sense with all of the meaning and not what could be matched for dubbing. Most of my issues were with the voice actors...... I just couldn't stand Chihiro and Haku's voices.....they grated on my ears. I heard about a half a minute and had to switch back....it was so bad.... And there's a reason for her losing her memory. It's a protective measure, plus in lots of japanese folklore, if I recall correctly, that happens to people. But I might be wrong about that bit. I thought their Japanese voices were boring and had to switch back. xD Plus, for someone like me, who only has the most rudimentary understanding/vocabulary of Japanese, having to read the subtitles can be distracting from the visuals. So even if the dub isn't perfect, I'm glad they at least offer the option of an English translation. Then the only issue is whether I like the sound/acting of the English voices better or the Japanese. Or if the dub is so horrendously done that even I can tell how inaccurate it is. Usually I do prefer the original over the dub for those reasons, but some of the Miyazaki dubs are the few exceptions to this. I really do like the dub for "Howl's Moving Castle" and "Princess Mononoke." I don't care if the seiyuu was male. Gillian Anderson as Moro is just awesome. I take issue with people losing their memory at the end of movies because it makes the entire thing pointless. Any lessons they learned and any growth as a person or character is rendered moot and void by merit of the fact that they do not remember that they ever went on a life-changing adventure.

I love you for loving The Incredibles, it's definitely one of the best, if not THE best movie Pixar ever made emotion_kirakira
If only just for the music and the blatant superhero parodying emotion_yatta I know, right? emotion_awesome It totally is! xD Not just the best Pixar movie, but one of my favorite movies ever. emotion_yatta
