Daishu "I'll show you that I'm not just bad luck!"
After settling things with the other neko and making sure everything was secure, Daishu finally joined the crew in the bridge. Having left his suit in the hands of one of the surviving mechanics who insisted on thanking him by checking it over, he walked in in just his normal gear. "Hows everything look? Any issues so far?" he asked his question as he walked over to Tenchu. "Everyone from Tara'Shu is amazed two soldiers managed to pull off the stupidest assault and rescue possibly ever recorded." He laughed a bit, feeling much better now that things had worked out. "Hows that for 'bad luck'?" he muttered disdainfully, looking upwards at nothing in particular. He wore a defiant expression for a few seconds before returning his attention to everything at hand.

"Well s**t...." "Issues?...well old Neru here is going blind and thought I was a human when he came in. I didn't think a neko that old and without any teeth could bite that hard....other than that... my AI served its purpose... it found something akin to a class 7 human AI running the ship and destroyed the little bugger before it had a chance to retaliate... but now your councilor guy has his class 3 AI running the ship...its not a military AI but its doing good so far... and you can actually talk to it... all kinds of fun.." She smile a bit listening to the rest of his words. "Well it was a pretty stupid idea to attack a damned party barge but hey, look where we are... you my friend are my good luck kitty" She chuckled and nudged him playfully. The councilor still on the bridge scoffed and sat down waiting for his AI to give the all clear. "Though, Im pretty sure that there has been more silly attempts. I have seen the battle report of makrar 4... a young shardan broke off his arm and stuffed a dead human with the shreds of his crystals before chucking the body onto a ship. He possessed the body in mid flight using it to fist fight his way to the bridge . Near the end the entire upper half of the human's body had been blown away and he kicked the human captain to death. before crashing the ship into the planet and possessing his normal body again... Id say that is a little worse of a plan than ours..."

Daishu "I'll show you that I'm not just bad luck!"
He chuckled a bit at her story about the old neko. When she called him her good luck kitty, his expression was a little shocked. It was a new statement ever to be made of him by someone else. He smiled a bit again as she spoke about the Makrar 4 event. "Yeah... I guess that shardan still has us beat..." He relaxed a bit agan as he sat in the chair next to her. "So, now that lives are secure and we're going to make it home... I guess the next question to ask is what does a pretty Monarch like you like to drink?" he chuckled a bit and gave a sly grin on his lips.

"Well s**t...." "Dunno... Ive never drank before... its custom for a member of the monarchy to never partake in alcohol until he or she learns to purge their system of poisons or toxins... which usually is around age 1000... but screw that. I almost died like four times... we both did, I dont care, you are buying... and I am getting trashed...." She smiled happily and gestured down the hall towards the galley. "We just saved 8000 lives and ended around 4000 human lives... NOW... we earned a good job...You guys just get us to the south pole..."She laughed happily and started to walk.

Daishu "I'll show you that I'm not just bad luck!"
He watched Tenchu walk for a moment before getting up with a small laugh. She really was something, that was for sure. "Hey, don't take off without your meal ticket." he joked, following her quickly. "So you've never drank before... this aught to be interesting. I guess we'll go for what I usually do then." As they walked, people they happened to pass all either respectfully bowed or uttered a few words of thanks to them. "Tenchu, how many missions had you been on before this?" he asked curiously as they walked.

"Well s**t...." She paused and looked back at him as she waited for him to catch up. "...Four, granted the first one I did not even fire my weapon.... and this one is has been the most obviously dangerous... You?" She started back down the hall with him happily. "meal ticket... lucky kitty... you bare many titles friend" She chuckled

Daishu "I'll show you that I'm not just bad luck!"
"Seven... Though like you said, nothing quite as risky as what we just did." he said with a small laugh. He was glad to have had her around, god knows what would have happened if he hadn't. "How's your arm doing?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern. He still felt a bit at fault for her getting hurt. He was glad they had both made it out of this operation in one piece, but his goal was for no unnecessary damages.

"Well s**t...." "A little sore... but its fine, I am just amazed that we lived...I was so sure we were going to die at like four points in all of that..." The ship rocked gently as it began its journey south. Neko children ran happily about the ship exploring. "...I am kinda jealous of your people...I know that there is a reason the Patriarch is so strict with his people...but... I just never felt free...your people are even allowed to just up and leave you empire, no strings attached. I mean i would not want to but... as an option... it just sounds liberating to have options..."

Daishu "I'll show you that I'm not just bad luck!"
"Hey, at least your immortal right?" he said lightly. "You know... maybe I can help you gain a taste of that freedom..." he added as something came to mind. A small smile crossed his lips as he lead the way into the Galley. Naturally, neko's were there in a decent number to do one of the things that would of course help with the stress of their near death experience. He grinned a bit and raised his voice a to be heard by those present. "How a bout a hardy drink for your saviors?" he said loudly, and was responded to with a number of cheers and of course the quick presentation of a number of various bottles. He smiles and sat at the nearest seat to him, motioning to the seat next to him for Tenchu.

"Well s**t...." She rubbed her eyes. "Dont remind me.." Giving a soft chuckle she watched and listened. Taking in the cheerful sound of the celebrating neko she had just helped save. "...Id like that... a taste of freedom... " She smiled warmly.

Daishu "I'll show you that I'm not just bad luck!"
Daishu casually opened one of the bottles pouring a drink for himself and his companion. He slid her glass to her and smiled a bit as he held up his. "To a successful operation." He said and downed his first of many. He quickly refilled it and sighed a bit. "Guess I owe you that story I promised, hu?" he offered, looking at the brightly colored liquor in his glass.

"Well s**t...." She smiled taking a sip then gasping with a loud "whew!....I was expecting it to go down easier..." She chuckled and with a smile she leaned back looking into his eyes. "Sure... I can think of a few things we could talk about, after this I kinda wanna stick around. If I can NOT die on a trip like this then I imagine that if I stick around you I wont die on others..."

Daishu "I'll show you that I'm not just bad luck!"
He chuckled a bit at her reaction to the alcohol and took another drink of his. "You're reactions pretty cute, to be honest... He smirked a bit and returned her gaze evenly. Swirling his drink for a moment, he didn't talk then he leaned forward and sighed a bit. "There's a reason that council member recognized my name, and it isn't my shining reputation as a tech knight..." He paused, tipping his alcohol back and pouring another as he continued. "My full name was DaiShaShu... I'm the thirteenth son of MoriShaShu... My entire life, my family treated me like I was bad luck, just because I was the thirteenth in line and happened to be born with a black coat..." He grimaced a bit, pausing and tipping back his entire glass in one go, filling it once more. "Being told that all the time... being called bad luck and disregarded by the people that were supposed to care for me... I couldn't put up with that... Six years ago, I had finally had it. I got into a heated argument with my father and in the end, I abandoned my family and their name... Leaving them behind to become a tech knight so people would have to respect me instead of calling me bad luck." Without fail, he downed his glass and refilled it. "But now... with 8000 saved lives on a two man mission... I think I might have just proved my point." He said the last sentence with a bit a pleased tone and gave her an affectionate grin. "And I owe it all to a certain beautiful Monarch."

"Well s**t...." gingerly sipping she smiled and blushed a bit at his words "...You are a little too kind....Im not worth all that much. Im just a runaway. My brother... the one I was talking about, he died in the latest human war. My father was in the first human war....Ever since my brother's death they have been really depressed. When I was born... if you cant tell..." She tapped the side of her head aiming at her eyes. "I have a birth defect... most members of the monarchy are born perfect.... the mass of stem cells are carried by our advanced secondary stage white blood cells which form us and replace any faulty cells. I was born without them and my eyes suffered from it. Instead of natural cells I have nanites carrying that part of my biology through, but not before I managed to get eye implants... ocular power restored I was just an overly coddled child that never got to so much as step outside without my father's presence" She finished the cup and looked back at him. "...I dont care what numbers or hair color says... you are the best luck Ive ever had... I think your great" She smiled pulling him in for a hug. Though whether it was her happiness or the alcohol she didnt let go, just playfully hugging away at him.

Daishu "I'll show you that I'm not just bad luck!"
He smiled a bit, setting his glass down and wrapping his arms around her calmly. "I'm not just being kind... I really do think you're a amazingly attractive..." he said quietly since she was holding him. "Defect or not... I think you're eyes are rather enrapturing." He chuckled a bit and then pulled back from her slightly. "The reason I kind of wanted to tell you... is because I may be able to request a Monarch partner in my operations using my noble authority..." he smiled a bit at the thought. "Then I just have to arrange for you to be on permanent assignment and we could go anywhere we wished really... You're the first person to ever see me as good luck... So I want to help you in anyway I can."
