 Vlad watched the pair leave before he went to play host to the group that was staying in his home. He let out a small sigh running a hand through his hair. Now, how to deal with this group while they remained here. In the morning the vampire made everyone breakfast and found where Alvin was staying. He sent a little gift to the teen, an old artifact that he had as a boy. It wasn't that important or anything, but it did hold historical value. ((Not sure what would be good to give))

 Alfred "Alvin" MathisAlvin was a bit upset he didn't get to stay in the castle and instead had to stay in a motel. But, maybe he could convince his dad to let him stay there the last night? In the morning, he received a gift from Vlad, delivered by some girl. He sat on his bed and opened it as Warren made breakfast for them. Well, he said Warren....It was really their trusty driver. Inside the gift was an artifact. It looked like a piece of a crown. Oh! Was it a crown from Vlad's history? Or, from a kingdom he seiged? Alvin wasn't sure, but it was a great gift nonetheless.

Vlad sat at the table as the rest of the class ate. He would say that he had eaten earlier before everyone else got up, the "busy" prince of a kingdom having a lot of things to do usually so he got in the habit of eating early. When someone asked why he didn't have servants make meals and things he laughed. "Because I enjoy cooking, and since Im usually the only one here, it doesn't make sense to have someone cook my meals for me. If I have a large gathering, I might hire a few for the event, but that is rare these days. Im sure most of you are aware that this isn't a very large kingdom any longer. Most of the land my family did control was granted their independence. If Im not mistaken Arabor was once part of it, but they gained their independence as well." Vlad made a note that the girl that gave the crown to Alvin had returned and wondered just what the teen thought of it. He would be sure to explain just what the gift was if he saw the other sometime that day. "Well, when you are all finished with your meals, you may explore more of the castle, or if you have plans for today, I hope you enjoy your stay here."

Alfred "Alvin" MathisAfter breakfast, Alvin went out again. He decided to wait until - most - of his class had left the castle to get on with their trip. He then headed back up to the castle and stood by the gate, sort of nervous. He didn't know why, though. "I wonder if the others are looking around the castle...." Walking up to the doors, he opened and peeked in. "Hello? Vladimir?"

Vlad had watched the group leave and went to his chambers for a moment. When he heard the door to the castle open naturally his eyes opened as well. The voice made a smile form on his face and within moments he was at Alvin's side. "Welcome back Alvin. I do hope you enjoyed the gift that I sent to you."

Vlad smirked as Alvin jumped. "It was a crown I wore as a child. Simply used to show I was the heir during ceremonies and the like. Im doing well, how did you sleep?" He asked curious as he took the teen's hand and kissed it again. He wanted to do more of course, but he couldn't at the moment. He couldn't scare Alvin away, not when he had his sights set on this teen. "What would you like to do today? I have all day to spend with you Alvin."

Alfred "Alvin" MathisSo, it was Vlad's. It was so cool to learn things about him. When his hand was taken and kissed, Alvin blushed and held his hand to his chest. He smiled as he did so, clearly more accepting of Vlad's little gestures than the day before. When asked what he would like to do and that Vlad was free to spend the day with him, Alvin gave a small smile. He was...very attentive. Alvin couldn't understand how his lover from his kingly days could have betrayed him like he did. "Well, I....I'm free until after lunch, then the class is touring the museum. So, um....Maybe we can just hang out here? Or, we could check out the older parts of town? If you want....I'm sure it's not a very fun thought, seeing as you've probably been there so many times before." Alvin wasn't the best at making plans, but he really didn't care what they did. He was just ecstatic to be around Vlad. It was great to have someone around who didn't mind his fascination with history or reclusive tendencies.

the gothic beauty 2 Vlad kept holding Alvin's hand for a moment before he let it go. "That's the fun thing, even though I have been to those parts so many times, it's a first when I'm with you Alvin. I want to show you my home from when I was your age, share the history with you. I can give you anything you want, all you need to do is ask." He said softly looking at the boy for a moment. Was he trying to win the other over? Hell yes. Did he care that this male was still a teenager and was significantly younger then he was? Nope. He could care less if the guy looked like his age or not.

Alfred "Alvin" MathisAnything? Alvin blushed softly and smiled a bit. Yes, he was definitely a great guy. "I'll try not to ask for too much. I don't want to be a spoiled brat." So, they were going to the old part of town then? Alvin smiled and took Vlad's arm out of instinct. "So, should we get going~?"

the gothic beauty 2 "Oh, trust me, you couldn't be a spoiled brat. I was brought up as a prince remember?" He asked with a smile and a laugh. "Ill show you to all my favorite haunts as a boy. Sadly there is very little still standing of the old sections, but I can still remember it all." He smiled as Alvin took his arm before he started to walk. "I can show you some of the old caves I played in as well. I wonder if there are still any toys there from my childhood."

Alfred "Alvin" MathisVlad being a prince wasn't an excuse for Alvin to be spoiled. Was Vlad one of those people who wanted their friends and/or partners to be spoiled and a bit selfish? He couldn't tell. "If there are, I'd be really surprised. Surely someone must have found them by now, right? Still, I hope they are. It'd be cool to see the caves as you left them."

wink the gothic beauty 2 The pair reached the old section of he town and Vlad pointed out ruins and what the building had been and what they looked like when they were first built. As they walked Vlad kept an eye on Alvin noting his reactions. Eventually they arrived at a cave and Vlad walked inside lighting a stick and using it as a torch. "Seems there are still some things of mine here." He said with a smile as he picked up a carved horse. It had been made of bone so it lasted and he handed it to Alvin. "If I'm not mistaken it was made to resemble my horse when it was given to me."

Alfred "Alvin" MathisIt was neat touring the old part of town with Vlad, learning about the buildings that had been neglected and forgotten. Learning from someone who was actually there was amazing, and it was more amazing to just spend time with him. When they got to the caves, they actually found an old carved horse that belonged to Vlad. Alvin smiled a bit even though it was made of bone. The thought of Vlad having been a kid at one point....It was cute. "You're horse? What breed was it? Bet it was a pretty cool horse if it was yours, huh?"

the gothic beauty 2 "What are you thinking about Alvin?" He asked before smiling. "Artix was a big animal for someone my age, a large black stallion but very brave and loyal. I was the only one that could ride him once I earned his trust. You see, I was the one that got to pick his parents and raised him. He was allowed to run free for 2 years before he was trained to take a saddle. He ran in the mountains of this place so he had great stamina and endurance. And he was fast. Back then it felt like one was riding the wind." Unfortunately when Vlad became a vampire Artix couldn't stand him even though he knew who Vlad was. In anger he had bitten his own horse and changed him. The creature was still in the stables but he couldn't risk the animal getting free not knowing what might happen. ((Yes he has a vampire horse XD))
