Aura remained quiet through Elisa's rant and ensuing conversation with Elias.
They continued, past the wall that Karin had gone into, and suddenly, bullets rang out. Aura dodged and extracted her daggers and looked around madly for the attacker, only to see that they were all but surrounded. The attackers were no longer shooting, but they had their guns drawn and were slowly encircling them.
Raising a dagger and estimating how quickly she could throw it and dodge the ensuing bullets, Aura noticed the attackers had forgotten about the corridor just behind them.

Even through the wall, Karin heard the bullet sounds ring out. Her ears had been trained for sounds like those, but she didn't think she'd ever need it...until now. But there was a problem, she had gotten into this passage but Karin had no idea how to get out again. In her frustration, she smacked her hand against the wall again...the wall flipped again on her. She found herself in a corridor just behind the wall, she also found herself staring at Aura trapped in a mob of masked people.

Mark and Alex heard the shots and came running/hobbleing back.

Elias shot a glance at Elisa, who answered with a nod. Elisa spun forward with a cry, twirling her long daggers into existence and controlling them with the black ribbons attached to her wrists. The daggers spun out nearly a foot beyond their normal reach, and when she twisted them a certain way, she was able to flick their oppressors' weapons away. The trick only surprised a few of the guards though, and she was soon running another way, battling a hopeless case to get away.
Meanwhile, Elias grabbed Aura's wrist and darted for the unguarded corridor, stopping only to punch a confused person in the face and grab his gun. "Ivory!" he called to Elisa. He waited for her to reply the call before rushing away, still holding onto Aura with one hand and the gun with the other.
He almost ran into Karin but urged her to run as well, for the mob that wasn't occupied with chasing Elisa was now running down the hall in pursuit of them. A few bullets streamed their way and Elias pushed Aura into Karin with an urgent, "Go!" before blasting the rest of the bullets in the gun he was holding into the mob. When it was empty, he threw the empty gun at them and fled as well. ~Tris

((Is Elias with Karin and Aura? I wasn't sure.))
Karin had made sure some of the masked people were dead with her poisoned daggers before she grabbed Aura's hand without a word and spirited off, disappearing down passageways. She finally stopped and pressed a relief of a flower on the wall in a corridor, "Come on. This might throw off the pursuers for a couple minutes." Karin nodded at Aura and Elias to get in.

((Ya, Elias is with Karin and Aura, escaping the people))
"Good thinking," Elias commented, slipping in. Once the passage closed behind them he turned to Aura and asked worriedly, "Are you ok? Did you get hurt?
"Karin, Elisa will meet us the room with the Ivory statue. I don't exactly remember the way there via secret passageway--any I don't remember this one anyway--so do you think you could lead us there? Room with the Ivory statue of Minerva and Jupiter?"
In his rush he not realise that room was very near the room he was supposed to keep the prisoners away from and also near the corridor with the tapestry of Athena and Zeus--Minerva and Jupiter's Greek counterparts. ~C.

"You mean the ivory statue near the other tapestry of the Greek gods? Yeah sure, I can get us there." Karin said already starting off in that direction, Hmm...did Elias purposely not mention the tapestry of Athena and Zeus? The statue of the Roman gods he was talking about is very close to the Greek gods tapestry. Ah well, I can probably figure some more things out once we get there. Karin mused to herself as she led Aura and Elias through the twisty passages to the "Ivory".

"It's better if we take a secret passage." Mark said and ducked into a wall, pulling Alex along with him. The wall slamed shut behind them and he quickly tried to find a light.
Alex had no idea where they were, but she heard voices. "Sounds like Karin." She told Mark.
Mark listened for a moment and nodded. "Let's follow it." He said and follwed the voices.
Alex was hobbleing after him and was calling out softly. "Karin?" She asked when they approached a group of three.

Karin tensed and whipped out her flashlight and a dagger, up until now, she had gone by her memory and the wall not wanting to waste the battery. She swept the bright beam around and relaxed when she found it was only Alex and Mark, "Hello. I'm heading toward the ivory statues of Jupiter and Minerva, Elisa is going to meet us there. Want to join us?" She clicked the light off again, "If you want to come, just keep one hand on the wall and follow Aura. I don't want to use up the battery in the flashlight and it would be a dead giveaway if someone were in here too." After making sure everyone was in a line, Karin started off again, she began feeling for the small crack in the wall that would signal the exit to open.

Aura pressed her free hand against her side and arm, where bullets had grazed her, mentally thanking whatever force was watching over her for having the bullets only graze her.
As the passage closed behind them and Elias talked with Karin, Aura leaned against the wall. Blood stained her dress and there were a few small tears, but nothing serious. She looked around for gauze to bandage her arm and leg. Why'd Elias leave Elisa behind? Why couldn't she escape here either?
She followed Karin miserably and perked up when hearing Alex and Mark. "You're safe!" she said relievedly.
What's with the mythology? Why's Elias so agitated suddenly?...What does he know that he's not telling us?
....the guilty scoundrel...
"Oh! No need!" Aura said. She ignored her stinging injuries and pulled her own mini-flashlight from her toolkit. "There're lights installed in this place! I helped install them!"
She uncovered a small panel in the wall and flipped a few switches, casting a dim light over the entire passage. After twisting a knob she said, "That gives us fifteen minutes to get to wherever we're going. Let's go then?"
((LOL, secret passages aren't so secret since everyone knows them.))

"Thanks for the light, Aura, this will make my job easier. Not to mention no one has to stumble around in darkness anymore." Karin said, tracing the crack she found for the tell-tale ridges that would trigger the opening. "Ah! Found it!" Karin muttered to herself before cautioning her friends, "The entire wall flips with this one, so be careful." Using a dagger, she stuck the point in various locations before backing off a little bit as well. Just as she had predicted, the entire wall groaned and flipped and scooted them out into the hallway, she nearly crashed into the ivory statue but found her footing in time to leap away and avoid a painful hit.

(It's okay; I don't believe Lee knows where they are. He's more of a stranger to Gilfax. Maybe that doesn't count for anything, though, since he's not with them LOL. sorry, useless post x( I'll come up with something useful within the day.)

Elisa was already in the wound, rubbing a healing solution on her injuries and tying the bullet punctures. "There you are! Is everyone here?" she asked, fussing over Karin, Alex and Mark for signs of hurt.
Elias nodded, noting that Elisa was already there and grabbed the gauze; he walked over to Aura and after sitting her down on one of the couches, cleaned and bound her injuries.
Why is she being so distant? I just want to scream "Don't hide! Let me help!" Why is everyone so wary about me? Karin particularly, it seems. Then again, she has reason to; I won't insult her by denying she knows a lot about the house and...probably this whole mess we're in; I don't even know exactly what's going on myself.
Finished, he collapsed on the couch between Aura and Elisa and closed his eyes, nursing a headache. Why does this have to be so complicated? ~Tris

((I'm confused....It's made to seem that Elais is bad...but he isn't?))
Mark and Alex told Elisa they were both fine and plopped down on some couches. "We should stay together for now on." Mark told them all.
"Speaking of which were is Lee?" Alex asked.

"Wandered off," Aura said, thanking Elias with a small smile. "Are we safe here?"
Her head hurt some from loss of blood and she did not object when Elias sat beside her. Confusion engulfs me. I want to close my eyes and wake open them to find everything back to normal.
She tried it and was thrilled when it worked, but she had only fallen asleep.
((I think...correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that it's not a clear-cut good or bad with him. Like, he doesn't know if he's on the kidnappers or the escapees side yet? sweatdrop All conjecture though >.>))
