 "It is." Chiyuki replied, setting a tea set on the table and serving her guest tea, "And with a reputation like yours, I'm sure you'll get in, Mr. Damon. Especially with Master Don speaking on your behalf." That's when she noticed the pig on his lap. She chuckled, "I see my little friend has found you. This is Ruski, my living companion.""This is so much fun!" Momimi laughed, dancing around in a circle by herself. There were a couple of boys watching her, but none approached. They were debating whether of not to ask for a dance, even fighting over who should. In the mean time, Momimi danced as Pappy flew in a dance like pattern by her. Eventually, she bumped into a crowd of people, their backs to her. "Oh, sor....ry?" The silver haired girl blinked her eyes, confused, wondering what the small crowd was looking at. She stood up on the tip of her toes, peeking through them to see a young man dancing with a few young girls. Momimi smiled. It was good to see that there were still a few good young men around who had the patience with children. "That's so sweet." Aniken smiled watching as the little girl ran off with her teddy bear, standing behind the girl he met at his home earlier. "That was very nice of you, Miss."Oscar smirked and started himself. His hands behind his back like everyone else, and his mouth deep in the warm gooey goodness of the pies. Time passed and soon it was down to 4 people, Lucibelle, Oscar and the champions of the previous 2 years. Did that scare him? Not in the least. "Then Sir Pippy," Austin stood and bowed to the dog, "It would be my honor for you to be my guest tonight, or for as long as you like."

 Maka grinned. "Oh, the street festival's started. Let's go." She grabbed his hand with her right and held down her hat with her left as she pulled him around a corner towards the music. Musica turned around startled and looked up past the rim of her hat to see none other than the stable boy she met before. She smiled lightly. "What's a stable boy to do at a street festival?" She decided to walk next to him as they went down past some boothes. Maybe today would finish a lot better than she thought it would. Darius laughed as people began to gather ad started pushing their older daughters forward. He knelt down to one of the girls. "You go and find me the prettiest girl in the crowd ad bring her back." He watched the girl disapper into the crowd again. He danced with the last two. The little blonde haired girl skimmed through the crowd inbetween everyone's legs until she came upon Miss Momimi. the little girl was Ed and Winry's daughter. "Miss Momimi. Come with me." She grabbed Momimi's hand and pulled her through the crow toward the center. Damon laughed. "You make me sound like I'm a god Miss Chiyuki." he pat Ruski's head. "Doesn't she my new friend." Lucibelle gobbled down pies like it was nobody's business. Soon it was just down to her and Oscar. They were both on their last pie. They were neck and neck until Lucibelle swallowed her last bite just before him and up her tray. "We have a winner!" The announcer announced while then giving her her prize. Which was 100 gold coins. They were all given napkins to wipe their faces. "Told you I'd win." She bragged to Oscar with a grin. She wiped her face completely but missed a crumb at the corner of her upper lip without noticing.

Chiyuki's face turned bright red, fumbling the tea pot in her hands, "I'm sorry." She set down the tea pot on the table and bowed, "I don't mean to embarrass you if I am, Mr. Damon. I just admire you a lot. You're work with gardens is so beautiful.""Huh?" Momimi was twirled around and dragged through the crowd by a little blonde girl, Lily. "W-where are we going, Lily?" She asked, not sure what was going on. They were finally through the crowd and came towards the boy who had been dancing with all the other girls. "I got a break, and you know, stable boys like to have some fun too." He chuckled. Aniken followed her down the line of games and booths. "I like a good festival, especially the games, they're always fun." "Congrats, Luke." He smiled, then noticing the crumb on her lip. He leaned over and wiped the crumb off, making it look like a kiss. "There we go, nice and clean. You still had some pie on your lip, my dear." Austin followed Maka down the dirt road to the fastival, smiling all the way. This was so much fun. As they approached, his mouth opened in awe, "Wow. How wonderous!" Another thing he had never been to. The prince was loving his time here in the Human world. He was so happy to have met Maka.

Maka giggled. "let's dance." She dragged him to the dance floor. Musica laughed lightly. "I suppose." She tugged her hat down a little further as she passed her sister's who were to busy trying to find Count Rohdes or Prince Darius. "Which game would you like to play Leon?" His name slipped off her tongue before she could catch it. Would he mind if she called him so informally after just meeting. Her eyes drifted to a pretty necklace. She drifted toward the booth. "Hey there pretty lady. I see you've been attracted as well to our fine piece of jewrlrey. Well just have your boyfriend here-" He gestured to Leon/Aniken- "Win our jousting tournament." Musica stared at the necklace for awhile. "Aw come on. It's alright. I won't make you do it." She didn't even remember to correct the guy on Leon not being her boyfriend. Darius smiled as Lily spun the girl into his arms. He was shocked that it was the same girl as earlier but he didn't show aything. He just smiled down at the girl in his arms. "It seems my new friend did find me a pretty lady to entertain for the night." Damon laughed. "That red on your cheeks brings out your eyes Miss Chiyuki. Please just call me Damon. I'm a friend, well that is if you'd like me to be." He smiled lightly and patted Ruski's head. "You can be my friend to Mr. Ruski." Lucibelle's face turned pink and her breathing quickened with her heartbeat. Then he leaned away and she let out a soft sigh and her heart started to slow back down. "T-thank you." She bit her lip and instantly wanted to distract herself. "What would you like to do next Master Oscar." The ranking slipped out out of habit. She looked around.

"Uh, y-yes." Chiyuki sat up straight in attention, "Of course, we're friends." She nodded rapidly for reassurance. There was a silence between the two before she spoke again, "Uh, I hope you enjoy the tea, Mr. Da- I mean, Damon." She laughed nervously. "You're welcome to stay for dinner too, by the way.Momimi's face turned bright red. Pretty? He thought of her as a pretty lady? The shocked girl looked over the boy who now held her in his arms. It was the boy who was dancing with all the girls earlier. He was quite handsome, that was for sure. "Uh, it's my pleasure..." Aniken smirked, "Of course!" He turned to Musica and bowed, "It would be my pleasure to acquire the necklace for my lady." He was going to win and show he was the best. "Enter me right away, good sir."Oscar frowned and flicked Lucibelle's nose, "Oscar, just Oscar, got it?" He turned, grabbed her hand and led her around the game booths, "See any prize you want?" He asked he, turning his head only slightly, keeping his eyes in the path in front of them. Austin let her drag him on the dance floor and followed her lead in the current dance. He copied move by move of the other men precisely and perfectly. Now this was something he could pick up on very easily. Again, he was enjoying himself greatly. The Prince began to get ideas in his head.

Maka laughed lightly as they danced the merry jig until she caught sight of one of her father's henchman. She didn't falter in the dance but tried to hide her face as much as possible. Just as the dance was ending he started to look her way. She was facing toward him. There was no way she could hide unless...She pulled Austin down by the back of his neck and connected their lips but just barely. The man's eyes scanned over them and then disappered into the crowd. Musica looked back at Leon and saw that there was no convincing him other wise. She watched the man take down some information. "Alright. Joustings in a quarter of an hour. Meet at the arena." Musica looked to Leon. She realized she had never given him a name and she thought quickly on her toes. What would she give him if he asked? She decided she would give him her grandmother's name, Clair. "What shall we do for quarter of the hour?" She watched the dancers. Unfortunately, What Musica had in good aim and a good arm, she lacked in dancing skills. necklace. Darius led Momimi in the dance. "May I accquire the name of the lovely lady god has given me the priveledge to dance with tonight?" He smiled down at her as the dance drew them close but still at a quick pace. Damon smiled. "That would be wonderful. I cannot wait to see what you cook up Chiyuki." He played with Ruski's hooves. Lucibelle rubbed her nose lightly while following him. She looked around until she saw an archery booth where there were prizes left out on the table. She scanned them quickly and spotted a hairpin that she greatly adored. "Aw, for that there piece you have to strike the target straight in the bullseye. You only get one shot there sweetheart." She frowned lightly. There was no way she could do it. She sucked at archery. She always tried but without a teacher it was a lot harder to learn. She looked up at Oscar. "Ma- I mean Oscar. Would you win it for me? And I will repay you when I can." Which would be never because that hairpin looked super pricey.

"Right!" Chiyuki smiled widely and scurried off to the kitchen, unpacking her groceries. She looked through the items and quickly decided to make lamb stew. There was enough for a day or two's worth. "Alright, stew it is..." The fairie in training took out her 2nd biggest pot and began to cook. She cut up the vegetables and began to boil the water and milk. "Oh, I should put out some bread for him to snack on while he waits...." Chiyuki mumbled, getting a loaf of french bread out. She sliced half of it into fair slices and set it on the table with a small dish of butter, "Here, in case you get hungry while you wait." "Momimi, my name is Momimi, sir." She replied shyly. Her checks remained a fair shade of pink as they danced. But she was having a wonderful time. It was like a dream right now. She wasn't expecting this dessert trip to go this way. Momimi would have to thank Lily later, "If you don't mind, may I ask for your name too?" "I think the local players and bard are going to preform a small play in the square." Aniken replied, then remembering something, "You know, you know my name, but I do not know yours, my lady. What shall In call you by?" He asked, turning tom face her.Oscar began laughing as the booth clerk challenged them to the game. "Sir, you insult my skill." He took the bow and arrow, aiming carefully. The clerk glared at him, not found of the green haired disguised Dukes' cockiness, hoping he would miss. "Ready..." Oscar gently pulled the string back, "Aim...." He smiled and winked at Luke, "Fire!" His arms went down, pointing the bow to the ground. "Ha! You were bluffing, you didn't even shoot." Oscar rose a brow and smirked, "I think not." He grabbed the hair pin and threw the bow into the booth, walking away with Lucibelle as he put it in her hair. The clerk looked down to see the bow without it's arrow. He turned his head and there it was, dead center on the target. His jaw dropped. Austin was completely taken by surprise. It may have been a light kiss, but it still meant something. When they finally separated, there was a silence between the two before his face grew bright and happy, smiling widely. "I accept!" The royal fortune teller was right! He did find his future here in this human Kingdom. He could soon take the thrown and relieve his sister of her current duties. "I have to admit, this is kind of sudden, Miss, since we've only known each other for no more than a hour, but if you wish to, then I gladly will accept."

Maka looked up at him with a 'wtf?!' look on her face. "Excuse me? You accept what? I was just trying to not be seen. I'm sorry if you thought something else of it." She laughed trying to pass it off but seeing his serious face she stopped laughing. "What exactly did I accept to?" Musica looked up at him as if he'd been reading her mind. "Claire. Call me Claire." She nodded lightly to his idea. "Sounds nice." necklace. Darius smiled down at her as she told him her name. His smile didn't falter as she asked for his. "Lucien." He replied naturally even though it was his middle name. Damon smiled. "Thank you. That's rather courteous of ya'." He took a piece of bread and nibble on it offering a piece to the pig in his lap as well. Lucibelle gaped at Oscar as he shot the bow perfectly and supressed a blush as he pinned the hair pin into her hair. "Ah, thank you." She smiled up at him. "Your choice now." hairpin

"Well you are my guest. It would be rude of me not to." Chiyuki replied, going back into the kitchen, "I don't get many guests, so I take care of them as much as possible when I do have them over." Ruski nodded, taking a bite of the bread. "That's a nice name." She said with a smile. Momimi studied Lucien carefully. There was something so familiar about this boy, but she couldn't out her finger on it. "That was very sweet of you to dance with Lily and the other little girls. Most boys don't seem to have the patience to dance with them." She chuckled, noticing the dreamy looks in the girls faces, "I think they're rather found of you." "Well then, Miss Claire, I would be honored to escort you to the performance." He bowed to her, smiling, then offering his arm. "Shall we go, My lady.""It looks lovely in your hair, Lucibelle." Oscar smiled. He spotted a stand, where the winner of the game would get a free gown made by the tailor Armando. "Aw, I think I will enter into that. We'll win you a lovely gown to go with the hair pin and your beautiful face." Austin smiled widely, "In my land, that is a marriage proposal." A fairie was not permitted to kiss another on the lips unless they are proposing marriage. It could go either way. "This is so exciting. I can tell you so many things now and not worry about hiding anything. Oh! I must tell my sister soon. She'll be so happy to hear that I've found a bride."

Maka's face went blank for a moment. Ma.........Mar.......Marri.......Marriage? Then her face went into totally 'a duh' mode. "Marriage? What? I can't marry you! I don't even know you? I-I call it off." Wait can I do that? What if I can't? How does his kingdom work anyway? Where the crap is he from again?! She was rather calm on the outside though on the inside she was going nuts. ((think inner sakura haruno)) Musica smiled lightly. " Don't call me lady. It's to uh, formal." Truth was, she didn't want to be a lady around him. Or better yet, Lady Musica, she wanted to be just Musica well, in this case, just Claire. "If you don't call me Lady then I am not permitted to act like one." She smiled and grabbed hold of his arm at the elbow and started to pull him forward and ESCORT him in a way rather than the other way around. necklace. Darius chuckled. "How could I pass up such sweet little ladies." He smiled. "Just as how I couldn't pass up a chance to dance with you Miss Momimi." He smiled dazingly down at her. Damon rose his brow. "Don't get guests much? Why not? You seem like a rather charming lady. Surely you have many suitors." He smiled and pat Ruski. "Right Ru-ru?" He said giving the pig a nickname. Lucibelle couldn't keep the blush from rising to stain her cheeks pink. Instead she turned her head slightly away. There was no way she culd pull off any Armando gown! She would ruin the elgeant gown with her far less elegeant self. If there was think Lucibelle didn't have it was elegance. "That's alright. I don't want you to go through the trouble mas-I mean Oscar." Hoping her blush was fully gone she turned back to him with a small smile. The hairpin in her hair catching a few rays of sun making it sparkle and reflected in her green eyes. She caught a strand of his green sticking up and she giggled lightly and reached up to pat it down. "Sorry, but you looked like the child Alfalfa who lives at Rascal kingdom."hairpin

Chiyuki giggled, "It's just that my apprenticeship keeps me busy. I don't have many chances to invite guests over." She stirred the stew and stared down into the brown liquid, "And I'm afraid I don't go into town too often for any young man to notice me." But it didn't bother her. Sometimes you just had to sacrifice for your dreams.Again, Momimi's face turned a light pink. "Uh, why thank you." This guy sure knew how to complement a girl. This dreamy dance was wonderful. It helped her forget for those moments her troubles at home. Having to work, being treated the way she was, that she was hungry.... Gurgle... Momimi's face became hot as her stomach announced again that it needed food. Along with the growl came an ache. She held her stomach with one hand and laughed nervously, "Sorry about that." Aniken laughed, surprised that she was leading him, "I've never been escorted by a girl before. I guess there's a first time for everything." They walked for a few minutes till they came to the town square. The acting troop was just beginning there show. The sign in front of them said the name of the show was Ever After: The true story of Cinderella. "Interesting. I never knew there was a true story of Cinderella."Oscar chuckled, "Why thank you." He noticed how the sun was making her green eyes sparkle. Was Lucibelle always this beautiful? "Well then, since you do not want the gown, what would you like? Name it and I will win it for you." Austin froze, then turned back to her, his face dropping, "B-but, you can't. I can only marry one I have kissed and we could die if that does not happen." His last option would be to use his royal authority. But he didn't want it to come to that.

Maka's eyes widened slightly. Die? They'd kill him....His kingdom really if weird. When his face fell it felt like her heart fell with it. It pained her to see his happy face gone and then replaced by this somber one. She sighed. "Alright, I'll marry you." At least her father didn't pick her suitor. MUHAHAHAHA!!! ONE UPPED YA YOU OLD MAN! Musica took a seat beside him and held back a grimace. Great, a cinderella story. Didn't anyone realize that this was real life and NOTHING ever happened like this? She sighed and smiled anyway. "Yeah little did everyone know Cinderella wasn't pretty at all but a green troll in disguise." She teased and laughed. "I'm just kidding. It's starting." She turned back toward the actors.necklace. Darius laughed, full-on laughed. "Why don't I escort you and but you some well needed food." He smiled. "Don't want to make thy lady wait to be fed any longer." Damon laughed. "Well I know if you walked into my village once you would surely have my undivided attention." He smiled. "It smells delicious Chiyuki. I can't wait to try some." Lucibelle smirked. "Are you insisting that I'm not capable of winning myself something?" She laughed. "I will allow you to win me one more thing but that is all. My debt for the pin is I'm sure quite high already." She looked around and found a strength contest. The prizes were what caught her eye. Their were all sorts of things:stuffed animals, jewlrey, money and even lifestock. A small pale green bunny rabbit with red eyes that was hand stitched caught her eye. "Look Oscar! It looks like you!" She giggled and pointed it out. hairpin

Chiyuki's face became bright red and she turned, pretending to chop more food, "Uh, thank you, that's very kind of you." She waited till her face turned back to it's normal color and pulled down a couple of bowls, serving the stew to the three of them. "Stew's ready! I hope you enjoy it!" She smiled, joining Damon and Ruski."Oh, please, you really don't have to." Momimi insisted, "Besides, I.." She paused for a moment. She didn't want to tell him that she wasn't allowed to eat till dinner as a punishment from her step-mother, so she scramble in her head for another excuse, "I'm really not hungry. Really. I'm not even sure why it growled, heh heh heh..." "Am I sensing a little tension between you and Cinderella." Aniken chuckled. He looked as the tiny village girls sat in the front row, watching the show with an awed wonder, "It's nice to escape though, isn't it?" He asked in a whisper, not to disturb the girls, "Even if it's for a few moments, it's nice to escape to a fantasy world and forget our troubles for the time being. Take her for example," He pointed to a small black haired girl, "See the crutch? She has a sever case of rickets. And the little blonde there," He pointed to another, "Her family is very poor and sometimes they don't get enough to eat. You can tell from how skinny she is and the hollowness of her cheeks." He smiled sadly, "Even though they are in horrible situations, for these moments, they can forget what troubles they have and enjoy their time here, escaping in the fantasy."Oscar blinked, looking at the bunny, then at a near-by mirror at himself. He smirked, "You saying I'm cute?" He laughed as Lucibelle's cheeks turned a subtle pink, "I'm joking. Alright, one bunny rabbit, coming right up." He reached into his pocket and took out 3 shillings, placing them on the counter to the clerk, "I would like to play you game, good sir. What must I do tom win the red-eyed green rabbit?" "Moto Bene'!" Austin's face went back to it's jubilant form. He scooped her up in his arms in a hug and twirled her around happily, "We must tell our families, Mi Amo!" The Prince placed her back on the ground, going to one knee, "It is now my life's mission to make you the happiest Queen ever known. You name it and it will be your's."

Maka looked around nervously. "Come on, get up. People are staring." She looked down at him. "Maka." She forze at the voice behind her. it belonged to none other than her father. "This is your last running off escapade. Home now." he commanded and Maka bit her lip. "But I don't want to go home." Musica faced him as he touched and looked over each girl. She'd heard about the kingdom's misfortunes but had never seen them first hand. She suddnely felt horrible for always complaining about how much she had when they had nothing. She swore to herself she would do something for those girls by the end of tonight's festivities. "You're right. It is nice to escape for awhile." She smiled lightly then watched the play.necklace. Darius didn't believe her for a moment. "A stomach doesn't protest for no reason Miss. If time is of the essence then we will hurry and eat as I escort you home but I cannot let a lady go hungry." He sighed. "Much like the poor people of my beloved kingdom are." He mumbled under his breath to himself. His father just didn't care and it angered him so. Damon grinned. "Ah, I just can't wait." He took a spoonful and placed the hot liquid into his mouth. He swallowed and laughed while fanning his toungue. "Itz zhhot." he chuckled at himself. Lucibelle blushed lightly when he made the cute comment. Ah! Was he onto her?! When he cleared it as a joke she was able to breath again and laughed nervously. The big man behind the counter grinned and looked from Oscar to Lucibelle. "Well didn't you find yourself a nice catch? Man all the pretty ladies are getting snaged up early this year. What I wouldn't give to get a slice a that pie." he winked at Lucibelle and she rolled her eyes. What a pig this guy was. "All you gotta do is take this big hammer here and hit that platform and make the ball hit the bell. Simple." He smirked. "Then you make the lass happy and then maybe she'd make you happy tonight, if you know what I mean." He gave Oscar a simple nudge before leaning back behind the booth. Lucibelle was so very tempted to just kick this guy. Degrading women. Men are such pigs! Ok, not all but most. hairpin

"Of course, silly." Chiyuki chuckled. She grabbed his spoon, "You have to blow on it like this." She blew lightly on the stew, waiting till the steam lessened before holding it up to him, "Here, try now."Momimi sighed and nodded. It looked like there was no talking him out of it. "Alright. Thank you..." She followed near behind him. He was so kind. She was still a stranger to him, only knowing Lucien for a few moments and he was paying her a meal. Momimi may have been disobeying her Step-mother by eating, but it was something she was actually glad to do. Aniken nodded and watched himself. The actors played the story to a tee, showing what was familiar, but then the prince and Cinderella met, but it wasn't at the ball. It was in the woods, Cinderella disguising herself as a Dutchess. Odd. He had never heard the Cinderella told like this before. He frowned, not liking the way the man was referencing to Lucibelle. He put on a polite smile and grabbed the hammer. He swung the hammer back and forth, getting good momentum before finally swinging it forward and hitting the target with ease. "Excellent. had the girl the rabbit and let me go for round two." He called, throwing another 2 coins to the clerk. Oscar waited till Lucibelle had the rabbit before swinging the hammer again. He did the same as before, swinging the hammer back and forth, and before he could swing it down, he stopped and gave a funny look, "Good sir, it seems that there is something wrong with your game. You want to check it out." "Papa!" Austin cheered, running up to the man to shake his hand, "I am please to meet you. I can't wait to join your family. I will make Maka dear a happy wife of mine." He smiled widely. It didn't phase him at all that the man was giving him a weird look.
