Try a damp washcloth, or cold compress. It might be a good idea. [x]
Usually won't give any meds for it. No point. So long as the wounds aren't infected, I don't see a reason for the dntist to even consider giving pills.
But if you are looking for something that might help with the pain, you might to try advil or ibuprofin. Either or, depending. Although, I'd advise against getting pills, right away, without asking your dentist beforehand.
It's good that it stopped bleeding, though. Quite.

It doesn't hurt anymore just a little tender.
So I'm almost all the way healed.
I have a hole in my mouth that I get to play with xD
