Darkfoot laughed. "You might want to drink some water for that. Trust me, you aren't the only cat with that problem. It is a pain with honey." She took another lap of honey and jumped back in suprise. "It's a bee! Trapped in the honey!" She gently picked the fuzzy insect out, burying it quickly.

Copperkit stretched and crawled over to his mother, Dawnflower's, warm belly to feed. He lapped up the sweet milk when suddenly...
Aa...choo! he sneezed, wakeing up his little sister.
Are you okay? Amberkit purred with concern as she woke from her nap and crawled over to her brother, who's nose he was twitching irritably.
Naw. My nose feels stuffy. he replied upset. How amd I supposed to eat, when I can't breathe out of my nose?

Deserttail jumped and yowled as loud as she could with honey in her mouth. "BEE!" And ran out into the camp, tripping over a rock and falling into the middle of camp. "Ow..." She said, then she listened as she had heard something strange coming from the nursery, like a sneeze.

Darkfoot purred, amused. "You okay, Deserttail?" She heard a sneeze and walked calmly into the nursery. "Who sneezed? With leaf-bare, we can't be too careful..."

Darkfoot walked over to Copperkit, resting a paw on his nose. "A slight fever. A sneeze. It might just be a chill, but we should be careful. Just try to keep him in the warmth of the nursery for a day. If he continues sneezing, get me immediately. We don't want to let it turn into kittencough."

"Fine...The only thing injured was my pride..." She followed Darkfoot into the nursery and listened to their conversations. I really hope it doesn't turn into kittencough, that's the last thing we need with two apprentices awaiting punishment and Greystar missing in action...

Copperkit purred under the warmth of the Shadoweclan medican cat. When she left, he snuggled up close to Dawnflower to keep warm. Amberkit joined him to comfort her brother and covering her nose in his fluffy warm fur.

Copperkit and Amberkit curled up next to Dawnflower and fell asleep quickly.
((Wow, short post eh? My poor kits haven't much to say. I want Mistycloud to have her kits soooooon!!!))

Deserttail worriedly looked inside the nursery where the two kits were sleeping. "Should we really let them be together? I mean, won't Copperkit get Amberkit sick? The last thing we need is an apedemic..." She looked at Darkfoot for an answer to her paranoia.

Darkfoot seemed to hesitate. "No, not now, really. Copperkit isn't that sick yet. He needs warmth, anyway. If he starts getting worse-kittencough-then he'll move into my den."
(I wonder when mewpunchiko's coming online...she plays Mistycloud, right?)

Mistycloud groomed her tail the best she could over her plump belly. "I really hope these kits come soon." She sighed. "I can barely wash my own tail!" She hissed in frustration.
