Oh for the love of..." Drake slowly managed to get to his feet, but didn't know what he'd be able to do. Sure, it didn't feel like it was Aizen or any of the others coming, but he didn't think that he'd be strong enough at this point to fight off an angry pup, let alone a Hollow. The Death Knight materialized his greatsword and stood, ready to fight whatever it was to the death.

She was right, but there was no way he was going to let down his guard infront of this person. Especially if she could see the two Espada. That ment that she was spiritually aware. Something around the woman's wrist caught his attention. The afternoon sun had reflected of a pendant the woman was wearing. It looked like... Perfect. There was no mistaking a Quincy's cross. The fact that she had it and that she was spiritually aware gave the woman away. "Quincy, huh? Guess that makes things easier..." If the Death Knight remembered correctly, Quincy had the ability to absorb spirit energy to replenish their own. Much like his Leech spell. That meant that he could steal a decent amount from this woman and not worry about it. The blonde man lowered his sword and pointed a finger at the woman. A word spoken under his breath activated the spell. Instantly, an ugly greenish aura formed around the Quincy as his spell began the transfer of energy between the two.

Now it can't bother you." Tsu was expecting to hear haru's protests but just didn't care. They were nearing the training grounds and Haru could have it back then. "Hmm..." Out of the corner of his eye, Tsu spotted Datto. Remembering that he had promised to punish the student, Tsu decided to add him to the training session. The Substitute Instructor walked up to the student "You ready for your punishment?" Datto hung his head in shame, "Yes, Sensei. I am prepared for what ever punishment you see fit." A look a grimace passed over his face as he steeled himself for the worse. "Good. Since you've already released your Zanpakuto, you're gonna help him do the same." Tsu gestured to Haru. "Now, the two of you keep up. We're almost there." Once again, Tsu headed off toward the training grounds. Out of curiosity, Tsu drew Haru's Zanpakuto. A quick glance at the blade told him a lot about the way Haru took care of it. "Haru, when we're done today, you're going to clean this blade up. I want it sharpened and polished. Is that clear?" The fourth seat sheathed the blade, not bothering to even glance at Haru. He took his zanpakuto. He already knows his zanpakuto name, huh. He unsheathed his zanpakuto and put it in front of him. "Hey, I think he is finally ready to know our name, do you think that we should tell him or should we make him suffer a bit?" He just shrugged his shoulders and knelt down, looking at the dirt. "You never talk, huh. Why is that?" He turned around and gave a glare that looked pissed off. Being scared she just turned around. "Jerk, well I guess I have him all by myself." His zanpakuto was vibrating after a couple of seconds that he unsheathed it. "Doing it again huh." he said not caring if both of them were listening. Enduring the vibration he waited for Datto to make his move.

Hikari sighed as she sat at the desk filling the sheets of paper in front of her. Paperwork. Ah, yes, the most unfulfilling part of being a ranked officer. Unfortunately for Hikari, she sometimes felt that kido and paperwork was all that the Gotei 13 needed her for. She wanted to become stronger, of course, it just seemed that all of the training she did was for nothing. It seemed that the other ranked officers didn't have to try and they were excellent fighters; able to take down any foe. Not Hikari, though. She could honestly say that when it came to actually fighting with her zanpakuto, if she didn't have any kido to fall back on, she'd likely lose. Of course, she was one of the fastest when it came to shunpo, but that was only good for someone running away from a fight. I have to become stronger. I can't rely on anyone else anymore. Maybe Tsu-kun can train with... She shook her head. No. I bother him too much, and I still feel weird around him for some reason. If I can ever find the courage to ask him someday, I want to know exactly what went on in my Soul Space. Why is it that I feel so... upset around him? Something happened, I know it did. But what could have happened to make me feel that I have to hide from him? Did I do something to be ashamed of?
Her captain startled Hikari out of her thoughts. "Hikari-fukutaicho?"
"Huh? Oh, Taicho?"
"I have some things I need to do. But I can't leave the infirmary. I'll be back soon, but I need you to take over for me, all right?"
"Oh, yes, of course, Taicho!" Hikari shot to her feet. "On my way."
"Thank you." Her captain smiled and watched the lieutenant leave to go to the infirmary before departing.
Once Hikari made it there, she started supervising the care of the patients and resumed her previous thoughts. Maybe Hitsugaya-sama will train me. He's always been there to help me before. She didn't realize that she was finishing her thoughts out loud. "Yeah, I think for now I'd be safest with him..."
"Fukutaicho, who are you safest with?" One of her unseated squad members came up behind her and asked.
"Eep! Eh? Oh, nothing. Sorry, just thinking to myself. Anyway, forget I said anything!" Hikari waved him away. "Did you need something?"
"Yes, over here. She won't stop coughing. And her fever..."
I don't have time to think about this, Hikari thought, brushing those thoughts aside and going into her healer mode. That was the one thing she could find to always push every other thought aside, even the most troublesome ones. Taking care of the sick or injured always came first in her book. Hm... maybe I should mix up some herbs to try to soothe her coughing... but that fever... "Right, I'll be right back with some herb tea for her. Stay with her." And off Hikari went, her troubles forgotten. For now.
