HermitGhost Radergeist felt magic happening behind him, as the woman's powers reshaped her body to fit her state of mind. He wondered briefly why she was like that, but at this moment Radergeist was more interested in the corpse of his friend. "Healer," he said, "come here. I need you to look at this body and tell me what you see." Healer: *she stared at Feather's body, unable to tear her eyes away, until Radergeist's words brought her out of it. she walked over to the corpse and examined it.* this is....not human.....he was killed by....something quite...not of this world....there's a hint of magic on him....strong magic......heavenly....magic......*her voice was but a whisper and she kept glancing back at Feather, distracted a bit.*

Chibi_Gokua Nienna couldn't stop staring at Feather's shrunkend body, "What the hell is happening to her Talon. Tell me at once...We need to get her help before she completely disappears." *He smiled somewhat shyly as she licked his cheek, then he turned and watched Feather curiously, then turned back to Nienna to respond,* "I am not the one to answer that question. I know not what medical or magical ailment she has...Let us be on our way, and with haste."

Nienna did not want to accept that she called for the Healer. "Please tell me what is happening to her....you seem to know about it quite well.."

Chibi_Gokua Nienna did not want to accept that she called for the Healer. "Please tell me what is happening to her....you seem to know about it quite well.." Healer: it....is rare in Iunai....but sometimes their body will change itself into certain forms, based on their surroundings, state of mind, and situations...it cannot harm them....well...not permanently....she'll be in pain for a little while....but then she'll be fine....

Radergeist turned absently to the now shrunken Feather. "No used to reshaping herself, is she," he observed. "Broke half her bones." He looked down at the broken torso of his friend. Kaniput wouldn't have succumbed to such feeble oponents as those chimerae, and the Healer said she sensed 'heavenly magic' around the corpse. He peered down at the severed torso. It looked to have been scorched by a flame.
But he couldn't be here. Not in this world. Micheal couldn't be here, or Radergeist wouldn't be alive. And Radergeist was sure Kaniput had escaped Micheal's fortress unharmed. How could this be? It didn't make sense!
Radergeist closed his eyes. Placing a hand on his friend's forehead, bloody and torn as it was, he burned up the corpse and sent the ashes to the winds. A tear rolled down each cheek.
Then he stood. There was work to do. They must find this bracelet, so that the girl might regain her memories and tell him where he might find the other of his friends, David, whom he was sure was still alive. He turned back to the others, gathered around Feather.
"Come on," he said. "There is less and less time. If the girl cannot walk we must carry her. Healer, we must press on!"

Radergeist stopped shaking. The healer noticed that the wizard's skin had turned from brown to white, and he seemed smaller. Slowly he let his hands fall from her face, which had changed. The white, heart shaped features were tear streaked. The woman stared into the healer's eyes, ignoring Feather. "I'm sorry," she said, hoarsely.

"I'm sorry," she said, hoarsely. *Feather shrieks and scrambles away, whimpering and pain, not recognizing the woman's voice. she begins to cry harder, louder.* MAMA!!!! MAMA!!!!!

"Feather?" Don't worry mama's here..no need to cry anymore." Nienna bent down with her back turned to Feather waiting for her to get on like a piggy back. "I'll get you that braclet and you're going to be alright..don't worry." She turned to the rest of the people, "Quickly, we must move now." She started heading off in the direction they were going before interrupted.

"I'll get you that braclet and you're going to be alright..don't worry." She turned to the rest of the people, "Quickly, we must move now." She started heading off in the direction they were going before interrupted. *Feather holds onto Nienna's back, crying softly at first and then drifting off to sleep, her breath soft on Nienna's neck. she mumbled softly in her sleep something incoherrent and shifted slightly on her back.*

Nienna was sort of worried she did not know whether she should be keeping Feather awake or if sleep was okay. She decided to let her sleep unless told otherwise because she knew how tired Feather was.

We must press on, if the girl...if Feather can manage it." Healer:....if we must, then we must. however, no one is to wake Feather. she will wake up in her own time.
