Vieno wasn't sure what she meant by "keen feelings". Still, he didn't bother to ask what she did mean. "Tell you about myself? Like what?" he asked, not really used to being asked about himself.

"How were you so easily able to find that your coins have been stolen?" She asked, throwing the pouch back to him. "You can have it. There's not enough in there anyways.

Vieno caught the pouch in one hand and reattached it to his belt. He shrugged his shoulders. "I felt that small weight being removed." he replied. He wasn't sure how he could feel something like that, he just could.

"And you were trained to do this...?" She asked, tilting her head, "What did you do to be so trained...and why do you carry that sword?"

"I wasn't really trained... It's just some sort of natural skill of mine, I suppose." Vieno replied. "I carry this sword because it is a...family heirloom. Also, it has protected me well over the years." he then said, wrapping his fingers loosely around the hilt as he spoke. Once he finished talking, he lifted his hand and let it rest over the sheath.

She backed up several feet when his hand moved to the hilt of the sword. She was intensely afraid of weapons. And the thought she might end up dead because of one scared her even more. Moreso, she didn't want to get captured, just to be turned over to that king again. She whimpered slightly at the thought.
"Protected you...From?"

Vieno noticed her fear as Amira moved away. He removed his hand from his sword completely, to try to put her at ease. He shrugged his shoulders again as she asked what it was he had been protected from. "From those who have tried to cause me, or others, harm. I only use this sword to defend myself and those who need to be defended." he explained.

"...I see." She said, looking down. "I just...feel threatened....Ever since..."
She sighed, tears coming to her eyes. She quickly wiped them away with her sleeve, not wanting to break out crying infront of a stranger.

Vieno nodded. "I'm sorry." he said softly. He didn't ask as she seemed to almost start crying as she spoke. He knew well that some subjects were just too tender to speak of.

"It's okay. No reason for you to be sorry." Vieno said, wondering if he should try to smile, to attempt to be reassuring. He wanted to, but he knew he couldn't fake a smile to save his life. It ended up being so painfully obvious that it was contrived.

She sighed. "Now...If you'll excuse me...I think....I should try to head home." She spoke, glancing around. 'Home' didn't mean Nubai, where she lived, but moreso refered to getting out of this alley and away, to find a place where the guards wouldn't catch her.

Vieno nodded and side-stepped, out of her way. "Alright." he simply said, glancing out of the alley. There still weren't many people out yet.

She brushed past her and looked around, finding herself at swordpoint. Several swordpoints. She whimpered, noticiably, dropping to her knees.
"Please..." She said, adressing Vieno, "D...Did you set me up?"

Vieno was taken aback. Where in the hell did all these guards come from? Thinking fast, he moved in front of Amira, pushing her back slightly and acting as barrier between her and the guards. "And what exactly do you think you're doing?" he asked them, raising an eyebrow.
