Lightface nodded. "You'll be fine for the Gathering." His leg asn't that bad, just looked a little hurt. "All the other leaders won't notice very much. For all they know, you just had a wound and I went crazy and wrapped up your whole leg." She laughed.

Smallstar laughed. "I'm sure ShadowClan would look at it that way," he said. He looked down at his leg.

Lightface nodded grimly. "Of course they would see it that way. They'd probaly go invade our territory or something.." She sighed. "But I'm sure we'd be more than a match for them."

Lightface laughed. "Of course you would, if you somehow got past me. Because I'd be guarding you in the medicine cat's den!" She laughed again, whiskers twitching. "Our warriors are more than a match for ShadowClan!"

Dragoneyes's whiskers twitched in amusement at the apprentices' antics. "We were hunting, actually. Now that you've scared off the rabbit that Lightpaw scented, we might as well move elsewhere."
Dragoneyes looked firmly at Hazepaw, but her eyes gave away her amusement. "Come. Maybe if you both bring back a lot of prey, Smallstar might be convinced to bring both of you to the Gathering." Dragoneyes looked around, then trotted off in a likely direction.

Lightpaw's heart fluttered at the mention of going to the gathering. She looked at Hazelpaw with bright eyes and her walk became a little peppier. She did want to go to the gathering but she knew that just bringing alot of prey might not earn her the spot. She followed Dragoneyes in another direction as the rabbit scent faded away.

"ShadowClan might as well jump in the marsh instead of invading WindClan, because trust me, I'm probably a fiercer fighter with a broken leg than with four good ones. Being kept in camp drives me mad," Smallstar continued.

Lightface nodded. "I'd let you out of camp if I could, but, I've been taught too many times that you never let a cat out of camp if they have broken leg." She smiled. "Or I'd be letting you go on every border and hunting patrol."

Dragoneyes's eyes darted around, lighting upon a rabbit crouched in the undergrowth. "Who would like to catch it?" she questioned the two apprentices, her lithe body low to the ground, muscles tensed in anticipation. Even if she wasn't the one actually catching the rabbit, instinct put her into predator mode.

Hazelpaw noticed the rabbit too, and glanced to Lightpaw. "You can take this one. I'll watch to see how it's done." she mewed, stepping back to give her friend some room.

Hawkpaw walked up to Lightface fand meowed,"Lightface i'm so bored,"he added a little roll on the ground for added effect.

Lightface laughed. "We'll go pick some herbs then. We're almost out of catmint and yarrow leaves." She ran back into her den, and came back, meweing, "And cobweb. We better go get some." She began to walk out of camp, turning her head back to say, "Coming?"
