Probably very poor German. It makes no sense to me........."I *no "insert noun"*, ask now out? No clue.... Well 'ausfrage' means 'to question'. I assumed, though I'm not sure, that it's a seperable verb, trennbar. If you don't know about them, to deal is, you seperate the stem and the prefix, conjugate the stem (fragen) and place the prefix at the end of the sentence.

I'm pretty sure "fragen" is to ask......I've never heard the word ausfragen.....then again, I'm not expert or native speaker.....and yes, I am aware of seperable verbs.

WellzY Super Ja, das ist toll! German terms of excitement sound so weird to English ears. whee I'm not an expert, and chances are I was wrong. I've only been learning for 4 months. I'll be a year pretty soon. I took two years of German in school this previous year, because we're on the block system(4 classes a day, they last half as long as normal. A year long class lasts a semester). So once school starts, I'll be at about one year(school starts August 24th this year at least). But I do finish quite a bit in a year....in two years, I'll have 4 years of highschool German work.....and I have a really good teacher and stuff, so it's quite nice heart

I'm learning German, I've been learning fro 2 years now biggrin
The thing I find most hard about it is the cases. And word order.
Other than that, I think that my teacher doesn't teach enough nouns and verbs...

Deutsch war früher meine erste Sprache, aber jetzt wo ich in England wohne, ist Englisch meine erste. Ich wohnte zwei Jahre lang in Hamburg, da war Deutsch wieder meine Haubtsprache, aber jetzt bin ich wieder in England.

I think the case system is easy because it's identical to ours for the most part.

Better of Two Evils - Warum lernen Sie Duetsch? Du darfst mich dutzen(You may address me as "du"). You don't normally get formal with people unless they are somone who is old, a teacher, doctor, or somone else you would be polite to. It's the equivilent of "sir" or "ma'am" in English. You wouldn't call me "sir" over the internet. I started learning German because I thought it sounded cool and it would look good on my college resumes. Then, there's the fact that I listen to Rammstein....

Was magst du? That makes sense. So, I would stick with "Was machst du gern?".... Ich habe zu viel gern, zu sagen. I'm not sure if that was 100% correct.......but you probably got what I meant...... Wo wohnst du?

It might be "und dich", but I'm pretty sure it's "du"....you'll have to ask somone else about that... Ich wohne in Illinois, USA. Mir ist so langweilig hier. Wir haben nichts zu tun.
