I dislike wands. And the HP universe prohibits staves. I mean, at least with a stave you can whack somoen over the head. The best a wand can do is poke someone's eye out.

Moody had things in his staff, so it was multi-functional. Didn't he have an orb on top which specifically had a purpose?

Nelowulf Moody had things in his staff, so it was multi-functional. Didn't he have an orb on top which specifically had a purpose? He had his magical eye, and his hip-flask. Otherwise, far as I know, the staff was just a staff
