Ilyia stepped back, turning to face the newcomer. With a sigh and a resigned shake of her head, she closed her eyes in contemplation.
"Is everyone here so quick to assume the worst? If I am not mistaken, this chain here," she indicated the chain behind her, "was the doing of an Incubus by the name of Acheron. Beyond that I know precious little, but what point is there in assigning blame if the trouble itself remains undealt with? I may have a means, however potentially risky to Ari in particular... as I'm afraid the Light - particularly my own - has not been known to be kind if caught by any creature such as herself."
She turned to the queen, offering a sympathetic frown.
"Which unfortunately, I am left with the choice of an integral risk or a seemingly perpetual... bond, if you must."

Luferius furrowed his brow, looking with concern to the queen. He cared little what happened to Ryn, however. Turning back to Ilyia, he brought his arms up to fold across his chest. "What do you propose then?"

Ilyia pondered Luferius' question for a long moment, looking time and again to the chain. Her hand reached for her blade, drawing it merely two inches as she examined the design on the sides. A smile began to light her face.
"I may be able to create an interception between sides of any given link. Often enough I use the Light as an extension of this very blade, but if it's honed to a point and released at interception, rather than along the way... I could avoid causing any damage outside of a surprisingly small radius. Perhaps not enough to draw the binding away from either of the two, but enough to dismantle the length between, leaving them both with nothing more than a rather dark anklet."
She released her hold on the sword, allowing it to drop back to the sheath.

Tuomas thought about this for a moment before turning to Ryn and Ari.
"I suppose the decision would be up to you both. The only question is whether or not this will also dissipate the magics within."

Turning to Ilyia, Ari nodded in consent.
"Please do what you can. It would be greatly appreciated."
The chain was beginning to make her feel a little strange, though it was difficult for her to describe it. She shifted uneasily as a small blush covered her cheeks.

Ilyia looked from Ryn to Ari, the resounding warning of the former echoing in the Divine Creation's mind. With a slight hesitation, she brought her hand out to her side, a line of silver light traversing from the tips of her fingers to a point between sides of a central link between the two, as well as passing beyond them. She stepped back, satisfied that at least the linear stopper had remained as she drew her blade. Almost immediately she struck at the air, aimed slightly downward, though at the exact point where the tip of her sword faced her line of silver, it lashed out as a brilliant Light-fused extension of the blade itself, striking both chain and linear stopper in a brief explosive flash that while threatening to strike at both of the bound, did not.

Ari flinched, a small cry of surprise escaping her lips as the strike hit it's mark. Even after the the hit had long since past, she still hesitated to look at what might have been done.

The Chain began to glow brighter and more intense as it became apparent Ilyia had just made things alot worse. The Chain was unscathed, as it began to shorten the distance between Ryn and Ari. Ryn's face overcame with a light blush as he looked away from Ari. "Well, that didn't work.." he muttered.

Ilyia's face lowered to a frown, and she put her blade back in its sheath with a resigned sigh.
"I'm sorry. The very least that's been known to do was disrupt any dark origin, and yet... My deepest apologies, but I'm at a loss."

Ari kept her face down, trying to hide the redness that was increasing on her cheeks. Her voice was quiet when she spoke.
"That's okay, Ilyia. Thank you for trying. We really appreciate it."
She was beginning to feel more and more uncomfortable as time wore on.

Ilyia sighed, though a bolt-like glimmer of silver light shot up her arm and she winced, coming down slightly in pain.
"Unbelievable, just who is this guy anyway? Not only did I fail to remove it, let alone shrink it... but it struck at me, too? What in the name of all that is holy has happened here?"

Tuomas watched in wide-eyed amazement at the endeavor, carefully making a few mental notes on the outcome.
"How very odd."
The youth carefully approached the bindings, using caution not to further disturb the magics within the chain.
"Incubi and succubi are odd creatures that thrive on the energies of their victims. One such energy in particular."
Looking up, he glanced worriedly at Ilyia, Ryn, and Ari.
"Do you feel anything strange in the slightest?"
Luferius was none too thrilled as the chain became shorter. With a decisive movement he centered himself between Ryn and Ari, all the while glaring at Ryn. His voice was a mere hiss as he addressed the other man. "If you so much as lay a hand on her, I will cut both of your arms off and strangle you with the ligaments."

An orb of white light floated into the throne room to hover next to Ryn. A small voice issued from the sphere.
"Another situation, Ryn? You can't seem to stay out of trouble for very long, can you?
Alighting next to the chain, a warm glow encompassed the links.

Luferius' eyes narrowed at the orb. "You again! You hindered our attempts to bring Kuromaru to justice the last time! Do you plan to help him escape once more?!" He drew his rapier and pointed it at the ball of light.

The orb shifted, changing into the appearance of a small girl. Besides the white clothing and lighter hair, she could have easily passed as Nyx herself. Looking up at the vampire, she shook her head.
"I am only here to help." She pointed to the chain.
"Can you not tell what is happening to them? This chain is sending waves of lust through them while eating away at their life forces. Do you want them to stay this way?"
