Nienna walked in and saw the Healer and the man. The man had just stood up and the Healer was still seated. "Feather would like to know if you have any French Toast...She's hungry." She knew it wasn't proper to ask such a silly question after a death and in front someone who is mourning but Feather was hungry, what else could she do?

Nienna turned to the dead woman lying there, This woman should not have suffered so... She turned and headed back out of the room.

Radergeist gave a list of items he thought might prove useful, and then began to work the conversation around to what had happened here.
"I heard," he said, "that there's been some sort of attack. Is that wrong?"

Lionel: ....that is correct....*doesn't meet Radergeist's eyes as he continues packing things up for him* *Meanwhile......Feather gets impatient. begins to pace the room. then gets tired of that and leaves the room. heads upstairs, looking about, giggling slightly*

Radergeist gathered his strength to pull the information out of the man's mind, when two thoughts struck him.
The first was that he couldn't just do that whenever he wanted with his powers any more. There would be dire challenges ahead, and he needed his strength. He had to husband his power.
The second was when he imagined what David would say if he did. David would call it invading the man's mind.
So Radergeist paid for his purchases and returned.

Nienna got back to the room she has left Feather in and realized she was gone. Oh great....now where did she go? She proceeded to look around for Feather while calling her name.

He turned towards the noise. *he finds Feather in a corner of the room, giggling to herself as she holds an old, broken doll. the doll is missing an eye and its hair is falling out. its face is chipped and his lips have lost their rosy glow. she hugs it* Lucy....Lucy.....sshh....Lucy....*rocks the doll*

Radergeist drew back. He considered for a moment, and then turned and closed the door.
Then he leant against it and counted to five.
Then he went to find the vampire.
