"Damn..." I mutter to myself again as I turn back and rush over to the NPC, jogging almost to the point of running. As I approach him I tap him on the shoulder from behind and speak rather pleasantly. "Excuse me, can I get my backpack and whatever else you can give me?"

I raise a brow towards this girl with an expression of confusion and slight curiousity. "I think I can survive single handed..." I say with a bit of indifference, I had only overheard a slight bit about a battle before I had walked out of earshot of the NPC and his weird talk. "And I don't think I ignored anyone..." My indifference continued as I glanced back at the NPC, awaiting my backpack and what not.

"You obviously ignored this soldier! He said an army took over! You obviously need a party for this. I might be a healer, but I don't have a res skill to my knowledge!" I reply, still lightheartedly.

I look back at the girl with an expression similar to the one I gave her before. I shrug slightly before speaking. "I don't obviously need anything other than my stuff that the NPC hopefully gives me..." I continue to speak with a tone of indifference. "You feel free to stick with a support group. Once I get my stuff I'll gladly be on my own way." I don't try to sound hostile in any way, I just simply don't wish to be bothered and forced into a social situation I don't have to be in.

"Don't worry, I'll be there to save you when you get pwned taking on the army by yourself! Assuming you don't die of course! Judging by your gear, you looks suited to fast, agile combat. Most agile fighters are best when fighting only a few enemies at most. An army is more then a few enemies. Think about it!" I reply.

This chick is really getting annoying... She's only trying to help...Don't be mean... She's only trying to help. I smile rather pleasantly. "Well thank you for the concern and offer. I don't plan on taking any army on alone, in fact, I don't plan on really taking on the army whatsoever unless they bother me. Now, I'll definitely think about it whenever the situation may arise," I speak in a tone that suggests the end of a conversation and look back at the NPC with a slight hint of impatience.

I look at the NPC with an expression that seems to say, "really?" but quickly take the backpack and head toward the gate where the bloodly sleeping guard was. Hopefully I could somewhat examine that situation without being bothered and then head into the city. Just before I turn to leave I glance at the girl and shrug, turning and heading rather quickly towards the gate.

I dash off toward the gate, throwing the pack over my shoulder. I look back at the others and beckon to them. "C'mon guys! Get the gear and form up here so I can buff you. I think an armor boost is in order!" I shout in a leader like voice. It was obvious that I was basically just trying to act a little more in character.

"To wake the guard... or to scale the gate..." I mutter to myself. "That is the question..." I glance between the guard and the gate, holding my chin in a thoughtful manner. "Gate would be more fun..." I rush toward the gate and get a good foot and hand hold and begin to scale up and over it.
