"Erik...?" The name rolled of her tongue in sheer surprise. Suddenly she leaped up to lean over the balcony to scan the area that supposely had "Magneto" in it. It was then she saw him. He was a older gentlemen but time had been more than kind to him despite his white hair. He was indeed a trim and well-built man. "It is him! Erik."

The Professor was turning to ask her to sit and not draw attention but she was moving before he could do anything. She buzzed passed William before either man could blink as to what had happen. Caitlin had been standing infront of them one moment and now was gone, heading out into the back lobby area that surrounded upper floor of the chamber room.

"Caitlin," sounded off the Profosser. "What on earth has gotten into her?"

Caitlin was currently trying to make sense of a map of the upper chamber floor. The only thing it was doing was making her head spinned. "Damn it," she shouted, "which one of these color coated things is the balcony?"

She pressed a finger to the plastic covering and began to attempted to trace a path from where she was currently to the where she wanted to go. "Shouldn't their be a "you are here dot" or something?"

She whirled around on him and gave him odd look that he could make out. "Alright then," she said with her hands on her hips, "How do I get out of this chamber and to the other side of this story to the left hand side of the balconies?"

Caitlin looked down at the hand, then back to William, suddenly taken back. She was not...expecting...this to unfold in front of her. Not at all. She opened her mouth to say something, not being sure as to what she would say just yet until her eyes caught what she had been looking for.

"Erik..."

The older gentlemen tensed at hearing his birth name being uttered. It was not something that most people knew, and the majority of those people were not friends. Erik was slow in his turn as he honed in on the person that called him out, even if it was a mere whisper.

He saw her then, but before anything could happen, she raced up to him. Completely and utterly ignoring William, she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. "It is you," Caitlin said in a joyed filled voice.

The hug was return with equal caring, "I...I... You're dead. How?" Caitlin looked up to him, bewildered.

"What are you talking about? Dead? I have been close, yes, very close, but it had never truely happened. Especially not when I was with you. What happened...you weren't there!?" What was he talking about. Dead... The last time she saw him, they both parted with smiles with the both of them going to free an fellow mutant acquaintances of his. The shapeshifter was freed but neither her or Erik showed up at the meeting spot after she woke up. She nevered heard anything about him ever again after that.

Erik looked her oddly," not there...what do you...?" He then noticed William and the very noticable brand of the x-men on his jacket. It was then when he noticed Xavier rolling up next to be boy with a look of confusion he rarely saw on the man.

"Charles..."

"Hellow Erik. I see you know Caitlin, our newest friend at the mansion. What are you doing here?" The professor quickly looked at Caitlin that was getting her own look of confusion. "Do you mind coming over here please Caitlin?"

She didn't. If anything she took a single step back from Erik and kept her eyes honed in on him. "Erik...what is going on?"

"Now is not really the time," said Erik to everyone. Too many situations going at once, all trying to be solved at that very moment.

As if hearing William's words, Caitlin's head snapped up to him. Her eyes narrowed for a brief second before returning back to a calm state. She took her attention from him and began to look between Erik and the Professor.

"How do you two know each other," asked Caitlin with a guarded tone. Like William, she picked up on the tension. These two being in the same room made her skin crawl in worry and with caution.

"Well my dear," started Erik, "Xavier and I have been friends for a long time, haven't we old friend. We started the institution together and I help him create Cerebro. However right now...we are on...bit of a time out."

The professor voice echoed out, "Time out Erik. I believe you left the school for a reason and you are not planning on coming back. What are you do here Magneto?" The professor purposely used Erik codename and switch subjects. The action practically threw Caitlin out of the arena that had formed and the move made her teeth clench.

Erik raised a hand and tapped his temple, "Why do you ask the questions you already know the answers too, Charles." The professor mood change in a instant. It was like a switch that had the Professor guarded and concerned and Caitlin picked up on immediately without having to pry. She jump back to remove her person from between the two before something started to fly.

"Perhaps I should have been a bit more specific," whisper Caitlin to William as she looked at from the corner of her eyes, "What is going on between the two of them!? Neither are acting like the people I know."

"Rivals," echoed Caitlin as she looked at him wided eye. "I don't understand? They fight for the same thing when it comes to mutants, to help them. Why do they act like such immature men?"

She glanced back at the older men that look like they were having a private mental conversation. Neither spoke out loud but both seem to be having a very indepth converstation.

"Both are far fetch ideas," she hollered out drawing everyone attention both mutant and human alike.

Erik cough slightly draw her own attention, "Caitlin, inside voice." She narrowed her eyes at him and huffed, "Well you are acting like immature children over something you cannot control, nor should for that matter." Erik shook his head and sigh. She still had the same view as she did before. Never changing despite the memory lost.

The professor turned his gaze to outside walk way, "Perhaps we should talk about this outside, away from the congress session? Things need to be discuss, privately Magneto."

Caitlin immediately growled at the privately part. This conversation included her as much as William and he wanted to ditch them. "Hell no," she mumbled before speaking louder, "This involves everyone. I want to hear it! All of it!"

"Next time, Caitlin. I promise," said Erik as he bowed his head to everyone and started to leave.

"Erik. You haven't answer my question," reminded the Professor as he moved up to the older man. Erik simply laughed at him, "Again, Charles, why do you ask question you already know the answer too." With that out of the way, he left with no one stopping him.

"What did he mean Professor?" Caitlin was next to him now, arms crossed over her chest, awaiting his answer. "I can understand that my knowlegde might be lacking, but I think a refresher is needed. Talk, and don't give me this, "it is none of business or concern" mumbo gumbo crap!"

The professer shook his head, "William, you can fill her in on what is needed. It is time you step up and took a side. I have something I need to do." Caitlin watched him in utter bewilderment as he simple left without another word. She quickly turned to William, "What the hell is going on. This a lot more than just training for protection and learning to survive in the real world. I know there are problems but since when does some I trust and my housing tendent make it personal and act out their parts in something that can't be messed with!?"

Caitlin arched an eyebrow at his words. She kept quiet as she watched him let out some steam. Lord knew she had done that enough and it was best to just shut up and let be for bit.

"Just what is going on between Erik and the Professor," she asked. Sure she knew a little but the main fact still slipped through her grasp. "I know they have the same agenda: Help mutant kind. It seemed though that they have different ideas on how it should be done though."

Both men fought for mutants but both seemed to butt heads at agreeing on how, that was what she did not know. Either way, it was pointless to her, mutant and human relations wasn't something you could force an outcome too.
