Total-Bishie I second that. Balther IS a babe, not passed tense! <33 I really like Fran's design too, but that is off topic. xD I think Nomura has put FFVII into the "overkill" section, now. I mean, I love Crisis Core and all, but I find it was too different from FFVII itself. Doesn't Nomura know that adding useless characters to the past makes for missing references in the future? Seriously, you'd think people who played Crisis Core first ( though I don't know who that would be) would be confused by the original FFVII, because Angeal and Genesis' existence suddenly dropped off of the face of the planet. I love Nomura, but I think he's falling off of his pedestal, with all the plot holes eating away at the base.
Yeah, I haven't played Crisis Core and part of the reason why I don't is because I don't want all these plot holes constantly nagging at me. Final Fantasy VII was a great game but this whole compilation is tarnishing it's legacy in my opinion. It's taking away everything the game left to its imagination. You can't wonder what things were like after because we know what happens after now you can't even wonder what things are like before. If wanna believe that after Cloud killed Sephy he died and joined Zack in the Lifestream for a sensual game of strip Jenga! then I shouldn't have DoC, CoT and AC constantly ruining my vision scream

Besides Genesis being a big pain in the a** character-wise and plot-wise, it's pretty amazing.

Mostly because I don't feel like reading about Tifa, but also because I don't really care! I haven't read the Barret or Denzel one either.

He did? I couldn't remember since I haven't played the game in a while. But yea, Genesis was annoying. Even though he disappeared from FFVII and AC, the reappeared in the secret ending of DoC (including having a Spanish accent) Sometimes, I wanted this to happen ---> LinkJust once If only Nomura could just stop remaking the KH games. First it was just KH, then KH Final Mix, then Final Mix+. I swear if you couldn't include extra scenes too bad. You could have just delayed the deadline and added the scenes then. Plus, why could he just include Zack in KH and make Cloud and Aerith happy? I don't want Cloud to keep on battling Sephiroth and still be sad that he still haven't found his light ;__;

Oh, don't get me started on Genesis. He cut into Sephiroth's breaking scene and made it like he was pushing the poor general into insanity! It ruined it for me entirely! I loved seeing Sephiroth in such wonderful graphics, but really, that's just going too far. It's almost like Genesis was a Mary-Sue!

Mary-Sue is often an original character fans make to shove into their favorite story. They put the Mary-Sue into a situation where the story revolves around them, and only them, and everyone falls in love with them, and they have characteristics of all the other characters, making them invincible and just wonderful, but annoying to rp with.
I've come across many of them, and it just ruins the whole thing for me.
Oh, did I mention they're always perfect and everyone falls in love with them?
