The computer began to beep and flash a red light, Duncan sat up straight and engaged the inner comm.#
"Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to Sector Alpha please refrain from shooting anything as we are under the watchful eye of the A.R.G, also please remain in your seats until we have come to a full and complete stop at the terminal." He turned it off and then inputted the coordinates of their drop off point into the computer which then calculated a course he should take.
Duncan steered the ship on course and watched as a couple of A.R.G frigates flew past on a patrol mission.

His eyebrows perked at the sound of wrench monkey. He turned and waited for Alex to finish, gritting his teeth; when he did Cid placed his arm over Alex's shoulder and placed his hand on the wall behind him.
"If you want me to stay pleasant, I suggest you refer to me as Cid. Other wise, this monkey might "lose" his wrench if you get my drift"
He removed his hand then shunted past Alex to grab his tools.

He bit his lip and blew gently on his hand.
" Yeah yeah just do your job Cid so far i haven't seen anything that impresses me " he banged against the wall and held back a cough.
" I need a drink " he walked over to the canteen and pulled open a compartment that had a carton of smokes and a whiskey bottle.
" Ah good " he unspun the top and glugged some rough stuff down and took a smoke from the packet and rolled it under his nose.
" God i wish i could smoke you right now " he threw the packet into the drawer slamming it shut,

"Captain were approaching the planet time to get the gear all set, where do you want me to land?" he asked hoping he would get an answer soon the were ten minutes away and those frigates are still nearby so if anything happened they would have to evade them, and Duncan didn't want to take his chances with two A.R.G frigates especially when their under crewed.

Cid placed up against the air lock door that leads out of the ship with his tool box in hand. He threw his head back in boredom.
"I can't fix the engines until we land, if I fiddle with them now who knows what could happen! Get this thing landed!"

Alex let out a sigh and quickly climbed the ladders up to the cockpit and sat down next to Duncan.
" We have a pass were clear till we get to a next station Duncan" he leaned his head back sniffing the smoke catching it with his nose.
" Ah i hope we can land soon " he said taking the stick and putting it in his shirt pocket. He reached up to the intercomm pulling it down.
" Cid wake up Weggs and start to unload the shipment i'll be right down " he said standing up.
" Land us on the edge we might need to make a quick get away" he smiled.

"Weggs! Weggs! Get the hell up! Since I'm doing all the repairs and covering your a**; make yourself useful and unload the cargo"
Cids shouts into his intercom, it crackles then lets out a high pitched whine that fills the receiver. Cids grabs the side of his head with one hand and struggles to turn his intercom off.
"What the hell was that! Alex! We have interference!"
Cid nurses his ear better as he waits for drop off.
"I really have to set us up with a better communications device."

"Sure thing Cap'n" as they drew closer to the starbase Duncan could make out a few A.R.G frigates and a battle cruiser before the radar picked them up.
"Well if anything goes wrong and we do need to leave we won't get far that cruiser will have us locked and destroyed before I even reach for the hyperdrive switch" he pointed out to Alex which meant, don't screw up
He flew the ship closer then the Tower contacted him.
"transport 214 Alpha we have you on our Radar please state your business?"
"Transport 214 alpha here, on a routine scheduled drop off of containers marked beta yankee 76- zulu, containers contain water and food supplies." he lied whatever was in them was too important to fall into the hands of the A.R.G.
"Roger that please be aware that containers will have to go through a security screening, permission granted docking port 3 is avaliable enjoy your visit Tower out"
Duncan proceeded to the docking port. "Ok Captain show time, you want me to wait here and keep the engine running in case we need a quick get away?" he asked

" Keep your foot on the gas " he said " And watch out for Kennys ship " he grabbed the ladder and brushed down the to bottom floor of the ship.
Kenny was there last Engineer. He killed the cook and the medical officer before setting the Engine room to overload. He was a real scum bag.
Alex never thought of himself as a pirate really. Kenny was the oppisite thats normally why he wasn't allowed to leave the ship.
" Cid don't use that intercom " he said as he landed on the floor swiftly.
" Half the wires are missing " he said as he walked down to the docking bay doors and grabbed the door valve and began to spin it round slowly.
" You know to leave the talking to me right " he said as he pushed the door open and dropped onto the chillded docking bay wire floor.
" Come on the Weegs get up ma boy " he clapped his hands together.

Duncan docked the ship and set in hover mode he sat there alert and watching.
He got onto the intercomm "Ok guys showtime and good luck."

Cid lights up then takes a long draw, he pushes himself off the wall with his leg catching his balance. He throws the smoke on the floor; picks his tool box up then crushes the smoke under his boot. He exits the air lock and walks around the ship to meet Weggs and Alex.
"Why do they try so hard to secure these locations, I wouldn't even spit in this planets direction."
He grunts as he finally meets up with Alex,Cid smiles as he watches Weggs struggle with the cargo.

Alex walked over to the panel and pressed a button and another one. A Hatch lowered slowly down onto the floor and hissed gas as the mechism realised itself from the crates.
" Right now to fork lift these babies out of here." A grin covered his face as he took his smoke and lit it as the Ships cargo bay door opened suddenly and loudly.
" Ah thats goood " he smiled taking a long draft of his old habit.
" Come on Cid " he reached over to the console gripping a set of keys and throwing them towards him.
" Lets get these things off the ship already "

Duncan got up out of his seat but not before setting the ship to auto pilot, he made his way down to the kitchen were he grabbed himself a snack and a coffee, he wasn't much of an alcohol drinker, though he did like the odd smoke. sitting down on one of the seats he bit into the bar and sipped the coffee, it wasn't the finest stuff but it kept them going.

Alex hung on to the hatch as it swung open gripping the smoke with his teeth as the hard metal smashed into the starbases docking floor. He let go as the metal clanked together. Starting to walk towards the meeting area. He took another drag as a man walked up to him with another four men.
" So you've got the credits then i hope " he gripped the cig like a bad movie actor.
" Your late i was about to leave " the man held out a form a Alex gripped the form and pushed some buttons.
" Twenty crates of your finest Talon cylinders " the form beeped as the credits uploaded.
" Thanks for doing business with me " he smiled taking a long drag from the lighted stick. He smiled as the final crate was dropped onto the metallic surface.
" So we'll be catching you later " he turned his back as he heard the sudden click.
" Ah..... I thought so " he sighed turning around.
" Hello Kenny " he bit his tongue in his mouth. " I guess you didn't like that little number we played on you i figured it gets alittle cold in a escape pod if you turn off all the life support systems." he raised his hands.
" You think your funny Alex " Kenny walked up and tilted his head.
" Well i'm taking your ship." he walked to the docking hatch stepping on it.
