Kurama's eyes flashed as he heard all of this, 'If I ever meet this boy, although I cannot kill him I will make him hurt so badly that he will wish for death.'
Kurama left the room and saw Rose, crying on the floor. He kneeled down and wrapped his arms around her in a hug.
"Don't worry Rose, I'll be there for you now. Now, if anybody ever does anything to hurt you I'll make them pay."

She returned his hug and sobbed softly into his shirt.

Yusuke sighed, not in annoyance but at a loss of what to do.

He came over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder and then left.
'I better leave her alone....'

Kurama patted her back, "You're not a baby and you don't have to be sorry. It's not even that I have to save you, it's that I want to save you. You don't need to worry about any of that."

Rose smiled up at him.
"Thanks Kurama. I just don't know what to do anymore."
She sighed and wiped her face, frustated.
"I'm just sick of always having to get rescued and having my friends and family hurt because of me. Tara could have died at Inutoshi's hands, and Inu is after me."

Yusuke sneaked his way around the corner of an alleyway.
It was the perfect spot.
He couldn't be seen AND he got to overhear the conversation.
