Diomed: 9 Ugh. He'd just pass off the plushie to his offspring. Ech.
Dianthe: 5 At first she was disappointed a bit, the poor puppet was a bit tangled, but then let out a SQUEAL of joy as both a plushie was handed over to her, and an adorable flitterrat was placed in her hands!
Cassiel: 18 Now THIS is what they wanted! YUM!
Jozua: 4 Once more, Joz just grumbled that they hurry and give him his loot.
Rei: 3 She...would hand it over to Shion, but with how he was wailing right now, she simply put it in the bucket.
Sei: 9 She was collecting skulls it seemed!...And aplushie!? No, she didn't need that, instead, she went over to her youngest sibling and kneeled down. "Shion, dearest, here! Look, it's cute!"
Kei: 15 Kei ignored the handful of stale candies, and instead perked up at the offer of a cute pet! Looking over to their youngest sibling, they smiled, picking up the wailing child and holding him up to the lined up familiars. "CHOOSE!" They all but yelled. No volume control does that.
Shion: 6 Shion's wailing intensified momentarily, but he soon stopped, latching onto the kitty plushie. Another was given to him (A cute spider!), just as he was picket up by Kei. the chosen Fennekit was added to the plushies in his arms!
Leotheras: 16 Not only was he handed more skulls, made of candy this time, but also a...plushie? He didn't quite understand the meaning of such a thing, but took it anyways.
After a couple hours of tromping around and playing games, Adelinde was more than ready for a break. Finding an empty patch of grass, she sank gratefully into it and stretched out her sore legs.

Still playing with her new wisp, Coralie glanced around and tried to judge the time.
"All right, let's do another hour. Ash, we'll take the babies with us. Let's give the rest of the kids a chance to explore on their own."
As she was speaking, she felt her pail jostle slightly. When she looked down, a chocolate bar lay inside.
Quote:
While Coralie issued orders and made plans, Ashlynn listened and nodded agreement. And since they were splitting up, she decided to get in one more game.
This time, the fishing game seemed to be on her side as her hook drew out a funny little plush as well as a cute bracelet.

"Revenants are very good pets," Zahneel said softly, watching the two interact. "And yours has wings too. Don't know how good it is at flying though, since they're on the small side."
She let Eliza get settled with her new friend before grinning and giving the hybrid girl a quick one-armed hug.
"Of course I made it! I wouldn't miss showing you around for the world."
She began to carefully steer her friend towards the fair when a nightmare went dashing by with a tray half full of cotton candy cones and just barely avoided running her down.
"Sorry miss! Have one on the house as an apology!"
A cone was thrust into her free hand as the nightmare kept running. Glancing down at the spun sugar, she couldn't help but laugh.
"Ever had cotton candy before, Eliza?"

Deciding that she had some really terrible luck, Binhdi accepted the old candy with a resigned smile, barely noticing that a passerby had dropped a bat plush into her pail.

Gilby was only half listening to their mother as she gave permission to split. An hour was plenty of time to play once they were done playing with the cute little rat that had snuck into their pail. In fact, they were so enthralled by their new pet, that they completely failed to notice the pack of nasty gum that flew through the air to land in their pail.
Smiling shyly, Hamish moved slightly to the side to let Atlas through first.
"I'd like that, Atlas. Ladies first."
As he stepped up to the booth, a large, extremely fluffy vespercat moved to sit directly in his path and stare up at him. After a moment, the cat began to purr like a broken mower and knelt just enough to delicately spit a pile of bones at Hamish's feet.
"Umm... does that mean it likes me? Or is it going to murder me in my sleep?" he turned to ask Atlas.

Absently petting the bat plush she'd gotten earlier, Nepheline decided to head for the food area. She needed some water.

Paladin wandered around the booths, watching others playing. It was actually pretty relaxing and super fun to see how happy the little kids were.

Grinning happily as her mother gave some last minute instructions before letting them loose, JAzilyn waved goodbye to her brother before darting off to play as many games as possible. And she hit pay dirt witht he first booth. After spinning a wheel, she was rewarded by a glowing necklace and neon green cat plush.

Fortunately for her tiny feet, Dalie's group had decided to take a break before continuing to trick or treat. As the group sat and chattered, candy apples were passed around as well as small bat plushes.
Dalie smiled as she gnawed at the apple. It was pretty good, but awfully sticky.

For the moment, Talia was more than content to sit in the rest area and simply watching everyone else. And given her luck so far, she wasn't terribly anxious to rush back out.
Kel had given up on trick or treating at the moment, preferring to dart about, chasing his wisp and ingesting sugary goodness in the form on cotton candy that he'd gotten from a nice demon lady.
Quote:
Zella hadn't expected to have a cheap plastic goblet given to her. Still, she'd accepted the thing as graciously as possible from the ragged chimera running the game booth. Even more unexpected was the mutated flitterat inside.
"Oh, Clarity is going to love you..."
Quote:
After her last encounter with questionable candy, Galatea had opted to simply walk around and people watch.
Quote:
Clarity accepted the raisins with a smile. so they weren't candy, but that was okay. She had all night to get candy. As she toddled back to Zella, a bat plush came flying through the air to land with a soft thump at her feet.
Quote:
Gelato admired the bracelet given to her at the last house. It wasn't candy, but it was still super neat.
Quote:
Disliking the look of the house where her group had gone, Karamella had opted to not go up to the door. She'd wait for a house less scary looking.
Breeze's group was taking a well earned break as well from the fun. As they all sat and sipped at juice boxes, their guardian walked around passing out little chocolate bats. Yum!

As ze stepped away from the house, Calla had to wonder at the sort of person who gave rocks to little kids. Much better recieved had been the nice spider plush that ze'd found hiding in the bushes outside the house.

As she wandered, Miju enjoyed the lollipop she'd won as a prize from a shell game.

As she watched the box of raisins fall into her pail, Ezym sighed. What a waste of time this had been. As she wandered off, a group of screaming kids ran by reaching into bags slung at their sides and tossing plushies around. One landed at her feet and she scooped it up before anyone else could. Okay. It was cute. Maybe tonight wasn't such a wash after all.
Smiling with delight over her brother's reaction, Lolo giggled and ran back to the booth. If her brother wanted one, she'd win one just for him!
Moments later, she ambled back towards him, arms full of spider plush as well as glowing bottle necklace. Once she reached him, she passed the necklace over and tried to figure out how to fit the spider into her pail.
"Now we match even more! Gotta win your own spidey though. I don't think I can carry two..."

Proserpina was more than puzzled. She'd sat down for only a moment to rest, yet in that time things had been left for her without her seeing who'd done it. The bat plush arranged so carefully besides a skull and candy with a little slip of paper declaring "Joyous Holiday!" was actually sort of alarming. And while she took the plush, she left the skull candle where it was.

Happily munching on the bag of chocolate skulls she'd been given at the last booth, Uhane headed for the rest area to take a little break.

As she slithered from one house to the next, Mollie stopped briefly to admire the little ghost the last house had given out. So cute!

Moana was entranced by the antics of a wisp that had decided to follow her around. Laughing softly, she kept her eyes on the familiar and completely missed the nightmare that tossed some gross candy in her pail.

For her part, Kiku was wondering at the traditions of those outside the village. Was it normal to give someone a rock? It didn't appear to be a very special rock. It was rather dull, in fact. After a moment, she shrugged and put the rock back in the pail. When she looked back up a fennekit was watching her, head tilted endearingly.
Tansy was falling asleep in her mother's arms. As they approached a new booth, she blinked sleepily as a pack of gum was dropped into her bucket. Of far more interest though, was the revenant that was peeking at her from over her mother's shoulder. Smiling, Tansy reached out a tiny hand to the familiar.

Tucking her hand into his elbow, Rhulain smiled up.
"I'm much better now that you're here, My Prince. Even the cat seems pleased enough to see you."
And it was true. The cat was busily twining about Jessie's ankles, purring and begging for a skritch.
Making her way to the next door, the little Fey was surprised when a strange looking Vespercat bounded up to her. It seemed to be clutching some sort of skull in its mouth, too. The Vespercat jumped up, landing on her shoulder. It dropped the skull, which landed in her bucket.
"...Huh. I guess you're coming with me, hey?" She reached up and gave it a gentle stroke. "We'll have to think of a name for you."
Nadinia
Nadi stood in line, waiting for the bean bag toss booth. You tossed little Nezubat shaped beanbags into a cardboard cutout that looked like a belfry. Very cute. A booth attendant was moving down the line, giving little treats to everyone waiting. She happily accepted a sucker for her stash.
Odessa
Odessa was making her way to the next house, when a stranger in a dark cloak pressed a doll into her hands, without a word. Dolls weren't exactly her thing, but she put it into her pail anyhow.
Dahvin
While still feeling uncomforatable, Dahvin knocked on another door. A smiling Fey offered him a treat, which he gratefully accepted. Maybe this wasn't going to be so bad after all...
Piper
Piper hadn't been having the best luck so far, which their caretaker had taken note of. She approached them, and pulled out a candy apply. Piper was thrilled with the treat. "Oh, and this!" She popped a blushed into their bucket, widening their smile.

The girls hadn't been at the festival very long. They approached another booth where Odessa heard a clunk in her bucket and looked in to see a cute lollipop. She thanked the person and smiled at Kara. The two of them were about to move on to the next booth when she felt someone grab her hand. She almost freaked out until she heard the voice. Instead, a wide smile touched her face as she turned to give him a hug. "Lazarus!" She said in surprise, glad to see him. "We're doing alright, we just got here not too long ago, how are you?"

Kara was following behind Odessa, she tilted her head to see that she had gotten a trick this time. It was a strange rock that didn't leave her feeling too well. She guessed it was imbued with magic. It was pretty enough, but the feelings made her shake her head to get rid of it before continuing on. She was definitely surprised when she saw Lazarus approach the two of them. She gave him a gentle wave, about to answer his question when she heard her name coming from another direction. She smiled when she saw the familiar Litch. "Oh, Yihad! Hello!" She thought she saw someone trying to hide behind him, "Hello, I'm Kara, may I ask your name?"

"For now, but you know I'll figure it out eventually." He shrugged, sounding casual though something about the way he said that indicated he might be considering watching Foras like a hawk from now on... or something. What a nerd. "What challenge? I didn't challenge you." He narrowed his eyes slightly, now starting to maybe regret his choice. Was Foras going to bring him to the scariest place he could find? Probably. Just his luck.
Oh well. It was an excuse to maybe get a little more touchy than he'd normally be. And by touchy he meant he might actually hold Foras's hand for once. How intimate. "The park sounds good." He nodded, then perked up slightly as Foras pointed out a dart game he wanted to try. Oh boy... Gany was not sure he was going to be very good at this but he might as well try...
"Were you really practicing for a month? How excited were you for this?" He snickered a little, but really was almost sort of regretting not preparing at all outside of making his costume. Was it more normal to hone one's carnival game skills before a festival?? When it was his turn he tossed the dart, and managed to get a good score, but not a bullseye like Foras. He accepted the candyfloss, then looked over to Foras as he extended the skeleton plush,
"Oh- uh, thank you." he smiled a little, then tucked it into his cauldron. Crap. He needed to get Foras a prize too, now. "Though honestly your costume is enough to remember today." A wicked sort of grin came to his face- though.... he really was trying to just make a friendly jest- who knew if it would be interpreted that way...
Frit had been getting lots of exciting things this hallows eve festival. The little imp was as excited as ever to approach the next house her group was going to ask for treats from. As Frit waited her turn she noticed one of the other kids in front of her squeal and start throwing things out of their bag. Frit left the line to investigate, and her eyes lit up when she saw the pile of bones just waiting to be loved. Frit quickly gathered them all up, and put them in her bag. This was a lucky treat in her opinion.
Muridae: 4 Treat!
Muridae had been watching the festival through her window. It did look like fun... a part of her told herself. Maybe she could just... Then the girl heard a scream and she quickly backed away from the window. The scream was fallowed by giggles and noises of happy surprise, but Muredae was not convinced.
Stachys: 11 Trick!
Stachys wasn't really paying attention as he neared the next booth full of fun looking things. There were all sorts of amusing treats and tricks on display. The booth attendant grinned down at the little nightmare, and gave the boy a ball. Apparently all he had to do was throw the ball into the net and a special gift would be his! Stachys nodded and took the ball, throwing it as hard as the little child could. It bounced on the booth keepers head and the older man quickly gave Satchas his "prize" and told him to leave.
Eudica: 18 Treat!
Eudica found herself outside a booth with rather cute little fluff plushies as prizes. The girl inspected the prizes, and had one in her sights to win. She asked the booth attendant what she had to do to obtain the plush, and the attendant gave her a dart. Eduica looked at the dart, and then at the dart board. So, she needed a bulls-eye to get the best prize. Eudica nodded and threw the dart. It landed just outside the bulls-eye and the attendant gave the girl her prize. Eudica looked at the plushie she had really wanted and promised herself to come back to the booth to get it later.
Abrus: 8 Treat!
Abrus had a top hat in front of himself. After the last fan threw him something he had to juggle or be hit by, the nightmare decided it was for the best to put down something for his adoring fans to safely give him gifts. Abras preformed his favorite trick, a sword swallow, and his audience clapped and cheered. The kirin noticed a rather good looking treat in his hat, and after his performance was complete he went to snack on it.
