"Hello again everybody, as you know, this party is not just for fun, it's to celebrate my newest second-in-command: Ace! Ace, why don't you come on up here and introduce yourself"
*I motion to one of my bodyguards*
(whisper)
"You see that girl over there?"
*i motion towards Rose but make it look casual*
"make sure nothing happens to here... she is Ace's friend, and i don't want anything to happen"
Guard:
"Yes Sir"
*he walks off and gets into position*

Ace walks over to where Vash was.
And looks into the audience.
"Thank you." He said to Vash.
He then turned back to the audience.
"Goodevening everybody, allow me to introduce myself.
I'm Ace Mistry.
When I came here, I was as poor as a beggar.
But this man, this man gave me a chance."
"If more people would give chances, the world would be a much better place."
"I'm honoured to be here tonight, thank you all for coming."
"Now, what are you all standing there? Let's party!" Ace said.
He then walked outside to where Rose was, and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Having fun?"

((Gummy your element is fire, isn't it? Ice and Fire have been known to clash big time. Would be incredibly odd and unreal in the sense of elements to have both. I'd recommend you stick to one. Since you had fire to begin with, I'd recommend that. I'm leaving it to you though.))

Yuuske jumped into one of the upper windows of the ball room and sat in the window and watched everyone as they had their fun. "Too many people here." He said quietly to himself.

Allure headed back downstairs after having though for a while about facinf Raphael. "I don't believe now is the best of times to face him. Most of us have only just arrived in this area. I don't know about you all but I'd like to learn more about it and find if the rumors held true." She went over to the window and sat beside it while looking at side at the beautiful city during its evening hours. Silence still hadn't broken even though it was getting late. She couldn't remember if it was always so loud at this time.
She continued looking out and noticed an odd light in the middle of a street in the far distance. Besides its strange positioning, especially considering the hour, she found no reason to be concerned though it still gave her an uneasy feeling. She turned back inward and waited for the responses of those who still remained at Veronica's house.
