The world as we once knew it has fallen. It began with a small fever, somewhere in the Middle East, no different than any other fever. No one knew about it, why would they? No one publicizes a fever... But what became of that small fever became public news in an instant, broadcasting stations released immediate distress signals to all who watched in horror. They said it would no doubt reach us in a month, two if we were lucky. They were wrong. It spread much faster than anyone had anticipated. A black wash of plague, but one like no other. This one not only killed the host that it inhabited, it also reanimated the corpse with a new thirst...
