Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

Welcome to Pain Is Not The Solution

We are a guild dedicated to helping people cope with their problems and make a recovery from a hard place in their lives. What we aim to provide is a place where people can feel safe, feel welcome, and feel like they may discuss their deepest fears, greatest worries, or hardest battles.

On our banner, you may notice a lotus design. The lotus is a beautiful flower, which grows in muddy, dirty lakes. However, when it grows and blooms, it produces a gorgeous flower. Because of this, many people see it as a symbol for wisdom, or rebirth. Here, we like to think that you can find this in every person who suffers, and every person who needs help. We maintain that being down on your luck does not mean you will remain in dirty waters for long, but that soon we can see a beautiful bloom. Even if that bloom needs help.

FAQ

  • How do you think you can help people?
While we cannot make someone recover, we can give them a place to discuss their frustrations with recovery, and an encouraging environment where people who are battling through the same things can help one another.

  • How do you make sure that people feel safe in PINTS?
Many of the rules in place in PINTS are enforced to make sure that no one feels that they are in a threatened, hostile environment. In PINTS, we do not, under any circumstance, allow pictures of self-harm, encouragement for self-harming, triggers without warning, or anything which may make a person feel as though they are unwelcome.

  • May I still join even if I do not self harm?
Whether you have had the urge to, but have not or you just want to help people who already self harm, you are allowed to join the guild, so long as you want to add to the supportive and friendly nature of the guild. We welcome all, so long as their goal is recovery - be it for others, or themselves.
