Amarante, Flower That Never Fades; A Literate RolePlaying Guild, or Amarante for short, is a guild for those individuals who are literate, dedicated, and anxious for a fun time RPing.
From medival, to modern-day fantasy! From elemental, to highschool! Roleplay whatever you want! Our guild has no limits!
Just as the name explains, our guild is like a flower that never fades...
-~-~-~-What an 'Amarante' Means-~-~-~-
'Amarante' is the Japanese word for the plant called 'Amaranth', or in scientific terms, 'Amaranthaceae'. 'Amaranth' are an easy to grow annual flower, that keep their color after they are dried. That is why the ancient Greeks named this plant after the Greek word for "unfading".

1) A friendly society of Literate RPers and Moderators
2) Variety of different RP genres (ex. fantasy, modern-day, futuristic, etc.)
3) Annual contests (ex. art, poetry, avatar, etc.)
4) Prizes given to 'dedicated' members of guild (items & gold)
5) The most important reason: IT'S FUN!

1. This is a LITERATE guild, if you are not, please don't join! Literacy is when you have good grammar, capitalization, and spelling, as well as the proper use of colorful descriptions. We must stress this, as this is the theme of the guild!
2. No chatspeak/netspeak, *'s, or ::'s. You get my point. You must RolePlay in third person, unless if there is an exception. No one, two, or three liners please.
3. Keyword: RESPECT. You must respect your fellow members and moderators. Your characters don't have to like each other, but that really shouldn't stop you from getting along with the other person. And don't forget to respect Gaia's rules.
4. No powerplaying or godmoding. You aren't a good roleplayer if you do that, nonetheless you won't gain any friends by it.
5. Romance, violence, and cursing are allowed, but keep all under PG 13.
6. Have fun, enjoy yourself, and don't spoil anything for the others!
