After the Seraph "Masiel" revolted in Heaven, his fury was brough down on earth in the Form of a Cataclysmic Supernova-like explosion that killed almost everyone and demolished the cities of the World. Because of this, Masiel was kicked out of heaven and sent down to earth as a Fallen Angel. He retained his powers somehow, and has used them to call upon evil Spirits to do his bidding. Masiel has declared himself King of The Overworld and is a powerful foe to overcome alone. These spirits that Masiel have summoned have Demonic forms which can be shaped as anything depending on the Strength of the spirit. The Spirits can possess remains of Machinery around or anything that can be used as a host, including people still alive.

You are one of the few remaining hopes for the future. You have discovered that the aftermath of the Nova has left large amounts of what would be called "Descald" or Heavenly Energy released into the Atmosphere. This Heavenly Energy; absorbed through the skin, modified all survivor's DNA and gave them powers, used by unknown heroes to combat the spirits. In rare cases the Descald Modifes weapons that are on your Person as well, giving them positive enchantments and power, plus added durability.

It is up to you to create your character, your story, and your own expierence to take back the world from Masiel.
