Now, this is a roleplay set in Panem, in a time that shall be referred to as the "What if" time. Basically that means that the events in the book never occurred. The capitol is still in control, and the games are as rampant as ever. So watch out- YOU may be one of those selected to participate in this year's games!
Why am I telling you this? So you don't go and create a character named Lucy Everdeen or Thomas Mellark. Remember, Katniss, Gale, Peeta, and the rest of those hooligans never existed. Be original. I guarantee we'll have more fun that way.
With that out of the way, we are a semi-literate to literate roleplay, and we will be roleplaying in the 3rd person, past-tense. Don't quite understand that? Here's an example:
Tom went to the store. He bought an ice cream cone.
NOT
I go to the store. I buy an ice cream cone.
Get it? Good.
