Thirty years ago, a powerful mage named Jareth resurfaced from his apparent death. Almost immediately, he began to restructure his former group, replacing the dead members with new, more powerful member who had already been antagonists. From there, he initiated a gambit that attracted the ones who had defeated him before, the older heroes, Riku, Roxas, Sora, Musashi, Kojiro and The Princess. His plan was intended to rewrite the World by initiating a new Keyblade War. By summoning Kingdom Hearts, Jareth intended to have his new friend Nasake, a powerful Nogitsune that consumed hearts, devour it, as it was believed to be the Heart of the World. Knowing that no matter what the heroes did, once Kingdom Hearts was called, the war was inevitable, all he needed was to sit and wait.

The combined efforts of the heroes to hold off the war lasted for years, fighting against not only Jareth's efforts to exacerbate the war, but the keyblade factions themselves. Many battles were fought in the heroes efforts to prevent the inevitable, but ultimately it was in vain. The battle culminated in a final grand clash. It was hard fought, but ultimately a failure as the struggle drew the attention of Kingdom Hearts, and Jareth enacted his plan. Nasake devoured Kingdom Hearts, beginning the end of the World. However, all was not lost.

The Princess used her magic in an attempt to recreate the old Kingdom Hearts, combining it with Jareth's New Kingdom Hearts. The two merged, creating a New World. Unfortunately, the conflict was not over, and what the two had started, became a new War, the War of Light. For nearly a decade the War of Light waged between several factions, all aiming to take over as much as they could from this newly created World. The two most powerful factions were The Mirror Bearers, who were Jareth's faction, and The Princess' Faction. Eventually, the battle resulted in a stalemate between the two sides, with the other smaller factions having either been absorbed into theirs, destroyed, or gone into hiding to amass power.

Knowing that ending all conflict was impossible, the two factions signed a treaty. In it, the lines were drawn in what was allowed by each side in order to maintain a somewhat stable and peaceful universe. The World was essentially split in two, one side governed by the Princess, who allowed for each world to maintain its individual freedom, and the other half under the rule of Jareth, who oversaw all worlds. But to prevent further escalation, the two sides designated a line of demarcation, a “Dead Space”. This Dead Space consisted of a considerable cluster of planets in which the conflict would be contained.

By the laws of the Treaty, no one from the prior war, specifically members of the Princess or Jareth's factions, would be allowed to participate in the conflict within the Dead Space. As such the burden was passed to the new generation. The old generation would be relegated to training and ensuring that the majority of conflict was contained within the Dead Space.

Over the course of the next twenty years, that Dead Space would become seen as an Arena. All organized conflict was relegated to that area, and each side had their own forces to contend within it's confines. The Anthedon, on The Princess' side, was a world on the back of a galactic turtle that was split down the middle as a training grounds for those that would fight in the Arena. On the one half is the training site of future Keybladers. The other half is designated for other classes of fighters, such as monks, knights and fighters that don't use keyblades.

Rules:
The Rules are the same general rules you more than likely see all over Gaia. Follow them and you'll be fine.

As far as the Rules of the guild, there's a section within the guild that outlines guidelines and limitations for character creation and gameplay. Read that, follow it, and all should be well. That being said, have fun. That's the biggest thing.
