Welcome to Totally Hooked, a Guild based on Crocheting and all that is concerned with Crocheting. Totally Hooked was founded on August 10, 2013 by AshtonsBoutique or in other forms by Ashton/Ash. We're also all about:
- Making Friends
- Enjoying and Participating in Crochet Contests.
- Learning New Information about Crocheting.
- Getting the word out there and "promoting yourself".
- Showing off your hard work from the endless hours of stitching.
- Getting more people excited about the Art of Crochet and teaching them like you once learned!
- Asking Questions and Getting Answers from experts who have been crocheting for a long time.
- Receiving Feedback from your work to motivate you to perfect your skills.
- And so much more!
Totally Hooked is just starting out but hopes to become bigger in time. We do not see our members as a number, but, better as a close "knit" group of friends formed together like a family. What we strive to do here is to gather people and educate them on the art of Crochet, and gather those who are already in love with the craft; plus to help those who need it and for us to share their our art with each other. Totally Hooked also encourages friendly competition to not only motivate oneself but each other to strive to be the best they can be at their type of crocheting whether it be crocheting dolls, baby clothes, dish towels, pot holders, clothing, jewelry, animals, blankets, and anything else under the sun; our goal is to learn together and grow together doing what we love.
Rules!
1.) Abide by GaiaOnline's Rules. No if, ands, or buts. What they say goes, they made the site and this here guild wouldn't be here without them.
2.) No stealing other members art. If they posted their pattern here for us and you take it and rearrange some words and slap your name on it, that's stealing and illegal. It will be an automatic ban if you do that.
3.) Try to say "hi" to all the new members who have introduced themselves to us in the Introduction Area.
4.) Be active, we urge this seriously. We would like to see you post at least three times a week at the max.
5.) Help promote us. If you see someone looking for a guild that is describe like ours, please ask them to join us.
6.) Participate in the guild contests and activities if you can. It makes it more fun to have more people involved instead of being by yourself.
7.) More rules can be added if needed!
8.) Have fun and Happy Crocheting!
9.) No arguments in the forum. If you and another member have a dispute please take it to PM, if that still doesn't work please contact a Guild Leader or Moderator for more assistance.
10.) Please give warning if you are going to be offline for awhile. We don't want to sweep you out if you return.
11.) Please give credit where credit is due. If you find a pattern online somewhere and you didn't create it, please give proper credit. We don't want plagiarism on our hands.
