In the year 2075, a bomb, EX 4509, had ripped the sky and changed all the lifeforms in the planet altogether. This in turn, caused permanent changes to the inhabitants of the planet Earth.

The EX 4509 had unknowingly caused the awakening of an Ancient vampire. Additionally, the werewolf shamans have resurrected the progenitor of werewolves, a being known as The Father Wolf.

The explosion has caused an unforseen consequence. The weakened state of humanity, had influenced demons to enter the Earth in full force. The Lucifuge, consisting of hunters descended from demons, in turn, have become the sole conspiracy of hunters remaining in the planet that can stop these demons. In a subsequent battle, the leader of Lucifuge known as Lucifuge herself, had been slayed by the demon Abaddon.

The bomb had also had greatly damaged the Magi order. The Boros, a group of necromancers, have seized this opportunity to declare war on the entire Mage guild. The Boros have prepared a large army of the undead for this very reason!

Amidst the chaos and anarchy, these being of Earth, have begun to discover runes, supernatural weapons able to bestow great powers to the wielder. Each race is determined to do what they can to survive. Will this chaos remain until the planet becomes a desolate graveyard?

What is The World of Darkness?
