Feel free to check out my first post which I have collected the announcements concerning zOMG.
But that doesn't mean that it is the truth. Its more like "How do I squeeze out more $$$ out of the community rather than "the so called security reason".

Who misses Zomg? who loved and or hated Zomg? Why is it no longer here?

A great number of the user base miss zomg. I few i've read on here did hate it, however most of the non-zomgers were and are ambivalent at best.
those that didn't like it usually stated hard ware issues. 'read' their computers could not run zomg for some reason.

Unfortunately Gaia decided that zomg wasn't profitable enough to save. that's the short explanation.
