How to get attuned?

So I've only done DMS maybe 5 or 6 times. Only ever once made it to green rooms and the crew politely asked me to leave so they can get someone higher CL so they can actually make it further.
I learned then that I need to be attuned for the future so I can skip to green rooms.
I also just need more shadow orbs in general.
I will take any help anyone can give. Thanks in advance emotion_c8
