So I see people are hitting the creatures all at once, but I don't know how. Could someone please explain how you hit several creatures all at once?

You can do 3 things:
A. Buy them in the MP which I don't not recommend since they are pricey and you can get them ingame
B. Complete the quests and you will be able to choose a ring
C. Just keep killing monsters, there is a chance that they will drop a ring and a 1/40 chance of getting a particular ring. The rings that the monsters drop ARE NOT area specific.

Other AoEs are: Heavy Water Balloon, Hot Foot, Slash, Guns, and Hornets

Rings: Fire Rain, Slash, Heavy Water Balloon, Hornets Nests

Are Area of Effect rings.

You can simply obtain then through a quest or killing stuff.

It's a random drop so just keep trying till you get it.
