Omnipresent Warlord

With the new currency there's been a lot of questions. Let's see if we can clear some up.

The new currency means:

- As of right now, every enemy drops the same amount when killed and gold drops. It's always 10 million or 1 Platinum.
- Enemies Blue to you also drop the same amount of gold provided that they drop gold when killed.
- The old gold cap is gone and nerfing appears to be different. According to Lanzer, nerfing is tied to the entire site and it automatically nerfs features that are generating the most money. As of right now, Zomg earns more, LK earns less, posting in forums earns more, etc. It supposedly balances out. If there is a nerf limit on Zomg, it's very high.
- Extra Gold potions may not work at all and should not be used until they are confirmed to actually do anything,
- The Luck stat does NOT give you more money per kill. Raise your damage output, not your luck.
- I have not personally tested to see if rewards for End Boss gives more than 1 Platinum or any other Instances with a reward. Will need to look into that.
-Update: I tested on Kam 1. She gave me 52 Platinum for killing her. Didn't get a chance to test Bloodlust.
- Quantity of enemies killed is more important than quality, so good farming spots are...
- Gold is unchanged. You can get 3-4 times more money from Plat than gold. There is no benefit to playing with gold.

Fluff farming in Village Greens
Papa Saw Easy and Normal
Tiny Terror Farming in Otami
Duneslam Easy and Normal
Coatl Easy and Normal
Shallow Seas Easy and Normal.

Soloing is particular is much more profitable now. Though a crew is still more efficient.

Here's a couple things that I already have for you:
Extra gold does NOT work at all with platinum, don't bother.
End Boss still not sure though

Thankfully now z! is at the peak of players since relaunch, i'm happy.
There's a bit more:

Autosell price for zOMG drops is listed as '0 platinum'. It's very likely that these are still worth only 1 gold, and therefore will not make any meaningful difference to your platinum reserves for a very long time.

Marketplace selling would net you more.

Questions:

Repeatable Quest Rewards:
Do these still exist? Are they giving out Platinum now? How much can you get per run? Has anyone tested this yet? Can you do these while farming to more efficiently gain platinum?

The Prize Wheel:
What/how much does this give?

Marketplace listings sell for their original gold values, I think, and not rounded to 10 million, I think.

Repeatable quests would probably give 1 platinum for the reward but I have yet to test that.

Marketplace stuff has a minimum listing of 1 Platinum, no matter what it is or which currency. Autosellling items give you the original 1/2 gold value. I know this because people are raising a stink about it in the other parts of the forum and decrying the need to put things up for sale with a minimum of 10,000,000 gold.

It's likely that repeatable quests do as you say. It's logical, it occured to me well before I typed the original question, but testing is required to be sure (I haven't done it myself either).

On hard, EB award gives 100plat.
However, just doing the mobs from robos to just entering EB gives the same amount.
Overall, one smeb run has netted me 500 plat.
Atleast, that's what I gathered so far.

On average, on normal PS, I get about 200 plat per run.
So, I believe PS norm > smEB hard in terms of time in correlation with plat output.
One sMOB on hard gives 200 plats, which is on par with PS Norm, but takes longer.

If anything, mobs give more reward then chests or boss rewards!

Thank you for posting this. Hopefully they'll update the client to show the actual platinum images and values.

Thank you for that info. I wanted to test that on Papa Saw the first
day of the change, and got the same results as Prince Maikeru:

Prince Maikeru
On average, on normal PS, I get about 200 plat per run.

And according to his other statement, it could be possible that just farming mobs on SS at any difficulty could net a ton of Plat per run.
Edit: One could always farm mobs in any other map, but since SS is an instance, you wouldn't clash with other groups.

Tiny Terror farming is a good spot as well since the Fluff spot in VG is usually taken.

Just want do address something here so there's no confusion hopefully. What omni means is that zOMG earns more (than it used to) and LK earns less (than it used to). LK (with gold as active currency) still earns FAR more than a zOMG player (using platinum currency). As an example, you can make probably about 20b worth of gold (2,000 plat) in about an hour of fluff farming or papa saw. On LK, you can make 20b in about half an hour. So in an hour, you can get 2x more money from LK (using gold) than you could with zOMG (using plat)

if anyone didn't respond to the question yet.

Repeatable quest: did one yesterday (bills ranch, garlic quest) and got 15mil. that's 1.5 plat.

Prize wheel: 10mil/1 plat

Freebies: 10mil/1 plat

It seems like plat grant is adjusting by itself or they did some tweaking

A successful SMEB run as of today is netting average of 330plat/run +- luring less or more mobs but i consider our runs luring more mobs

nerf threshold seems like hitting on 1200plat but the only thing that is nerfed is the EB scripted reward.
